Stage One


We are pleased to announce the beginning of a brand new project, giving the conditions in wich the Bretonians have been living for these past years, we at Bretonia Mining and Fabrication have once again the Honour of presenting our services to the people.

The crescendo in anomalies sighting and worded by the many peasants that work the dangerous mining fields, has now became a troublesome issue that worries our company.
We have a deep "need to know" around this issue for some workers are fearing for they do not know what to expect from these so called anomalies.


To try to respond to this issue, our dearest and most decorated Scientists accompanied by Our Lord Barba Negra, have left Isle of Skye and are now at Planet Cambridge, were they will meet with other scientists in order to research this matter.

But, before the true research can begin, they will need a considerable amount of scientific data that must be provided thru evidence gathering acompanied by the proper scientific data itself.

Following the words of our beloved Queen,

Stage Two


We are pleased to announce the completion of the first phase of our scientific research project.
Thanks to our colaborators as well as BMF personal we have gathered more than the double intended research target, payments regarding the reports, will be issued shortly.

Our beloved Chief Operation Manager, now also Professor Barba Negra and his crew of scientists successfully developed a new tecnology , witch will allow the mass production of vessels at an outstanding rate.

The research was so frutiferous, that as well as providing mmuch valuable data, it also lead us to develop our beloved Isle of Skye production facilities.
Focused on one capacity that Blue Diamonds demonstrate under controlled environment, were artificialy created anomalies enhance the light refractory frequencies of this mineral.

The overcharged light frequency emitted by these stones, has the capacity to go through any known material, thus making like an X-Ray of a metallic object possible, although the data gathered in that scan is completely impossible access , Prof. Barba Negra developed a way of conducting this data to a metal smelting drone, with a constant metal feed the data is delivered in the shape desired.

This new method of construction, whilst reducing the possibility of human error during ship assembly process, also allows for a greater speed in achieving the final product.
We at Bretonia Mining and Fabrication , commend Professor Barba Negra for its outstanding job in forwarding BMF's objectives in assuring the Bretonia Crown income.

Phase Two:
By utilizing Blue Diamonds in the construction of a ship scanner, mounted on a retractile robotic arm, we can, in a matter of seconds, scan and begin the reproduction of any given vessel.

Although Bretonia Mining and Fabrication has already begun the construction of a more capable facility for this kind of production, Lord MacRae Shipyard, we want to make the first tests in our Head Quarters, at Isle of Skye.

Therefore, we are issuing contracts for raw materials needed to fabricate this hangar

Congratulations to all employees involved, this project in now COMPLETE.

We are pleased to announce the completion of our test hangars at our beloved Isle of Skye.

Isle of Skye now, besides being our Head Quarters and Special Equipment Production Facility will also have a Small Shipyard.

Here, we will be able to produce the first prototypes for later printing in Lord MacRae Shipyard.

We are now ready to scan and produce the first prototypes of the new ship line for Bretonia Mining and Fabrication

Our Engineers and Builders are now finalizing final paint jobs as well as preparing the needed filaments for the deployment of the new Isle of Skye Infrastructure.

SUMMARY

In a shipbuilding or shipyard construction, the envolved costs have a huge weight of about 65% of the total cost of the project, which in turn demands the crews to have a solid experience in designing and fabricating such delicate pieces of engineering.
In order to achieve their best designs and adaptations of these structures to natural physical conditions,of outer space.

Scan 1: Planet New London Gravitational Pull

Shipyards and vessels alike, usually have similar types of structures in their construction.(dry docks, armour plating, storage bays, life support, crew quarters, etc.) and normally require complex geotechnical works (treatment and consolidation of of gravity fields, radiation stabilizers, etc).

The cost of the yard's dry dock alone can represent about 35% of the investement and in some cases where local conditions are very unfavorable, it can even exceed that percentage.
Thus, the launch of such an economical overwhelming endeavor is always something that will challenge the creativity of BMF's scientists and engineers, in the search for structural and constructive solutions that, besides obeying environmental and safety requirements, also aims at optimizing the cost and time frame of the construction projest.

This situation arose in Bretonia when Southampton Shipyard was destroyed by virtue of the Gaul invasion, winch made BMF start implementing

The studies of the current conditions demanded for ship repair capable installations close to the war front, revealed that the decommissioning of Southampton shipyard required the construction of at least two or three dry docks for Cruiser and Carrier type class ships.

More recently, as a result of the huge demand on this market, BMF decided to start small at our own Isle of Skye, so we can acquire some experience with this new kind of technology developed in Cambridge by our own Professor Barba Nagra in cooperation with Dr. Jack Frakes, from Secret Valley Workshop, although a larger shipyard is being designed and built from scratch close to Planet Cambridge, Lord MacRae Shipyard.

oBretonia Mining and Fabrication engineering had the opportunity to participate in some stages of many projects all around Sirius, our experience and know how is well known and recognized by many Corporations in Sirius

The basics

The conceptual design of a shipyard and, in particular, its infrastructure, dry docks, is the most important phase of construction, and requires the intervention of an experienced multidisciplinary engineering team. It emphasizes especially the importance of knowledge of space-geological as well as radio interference conditions in the design of dry docks for large ships.
In practice, once the site is chosen, it is established the order of magnitude of the investment value to be realized.

Symposium-9: Geotechnics in Space construction
Among the outer space natural physical conditions, the following should be highlighted:

- the conditions of access;
- astral and x-ray protection conditions;
- geological and geotechnical conditions.

In this article, special emphasis is given to the importance of knowing the conditions geological and geotechnical sites.
Indeed, the nature, carrying capacity a geological formations can greatly condition the structural design of the shipyard's main infrastructures naval and the respective types of construction. The dangers posed by asteroids is to be taken seriously for not all can be destroyed in time by the point defense lasers, if one passes the defenses, the structure is expected to at least not be pulverized.

For these reasons the construction site research team must also enjoy of undeniable consistency in their report.
The value of on-site research usually does not represent more than 0.5% to 1% of the cost of the works, which has no meaning when compared to the technical and economic advantages stemming from a well-adjusted locations.

In fact, a good characterization of the geological formations that surround the construction site will be key to its survival.

Some examples of dry docks and shipyards studied by BMF's scientist and engineers will be explained and compared in our next training by Professor Barba Negra as well as Dr. Jack Frakes as they return to Isle of Skye from Planet Cambridge.

The Scanning Process

Simple building processes manuals are already documented for Lord MacRae Shipyard, they cover normal working activities in regular ship construction, but in our case these will only act as mere "how it used to be done" manual.

One of the most difficult tasks associated with this project has been the definition and mapping of detailed processes and modifying these to embrace change when
management have adopted different production methods and or building standards standards.

Lord MacRae Shipyard is the first mass production facility to make use of this new kind of Ship Scanning & Printing Technology, it is of the upmost importance that every ship scan is precise to the nano-cite to map the capture of information required, a skeletal structure has been established from which a detailed Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) has
matured. This defines the data to be captures and its capabilities for reuse. It also provides a clear communication method of the constructions requirements
when scanning new ship models.

The ideal ethereal goal is to have a situation where all data is captured right first time and single sourced.
This data will be captured at the earliest possible juncture in the scanned structure, reused and enhanced by addition of attributes provided by Blue Diamonds thereafter.
Admin time consumed in repeated input can therefore be eliminated freeing more time for data analysis to focus on the construction KPI’s as information is disseminated from the Blue Diamond scan vision to the Printer Arm.

What is not specified in the ERD is the printing workflow, including such aspects as check points and sign off.
Good team work integration should nurture the construction process through very detailed procedure thus reducing the quantity of things the employee needs to do in order to further the process.

Scanner Bay & Printing Arm Interaction

A desire for this Interaction is to bring in information interaction and exchange.

This will help with processes such as drawing the model, printer start and plan review.

Particularly with raw materials preference and selection criteria, such as structural layouts or cabin arrangements.
It is here where 3D Hard Scan Visualization tools have provided an added benefit beyond their anticipated forseen usage.
Further benefits include the ability to hold plans, draw boards and information for Ships Equipment, service information including full Vessel Structural information for refit purposes and the ability to arrange dockside repair and maintenance packages to be arranged at the dockside when the vessel requires.

All this provides an added benefit to the production speed as vessel fabrication and repair time as well as raw materials needed can be substantially reduced.
