Screenshots are too dark - Salvador.P - 04-13-2009 As the title describes, I have a problem taking screenshots during game (key "PrtSc"). When I open the images in the image viewer application the Freelancer screenshots are very dark and unusable. I do, however, have good brightness, contrast, and gamma when playing the game. It's as if the PrtSc command doesn't pick up the correct settings. Any ideas? If that IS the case, I doubt it's the application. Screenshots are too dark - Salvador.P - 04-13-2009 Yes, I was referring to Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. Also when I copied images back to Ubuntu (I use Linux as my primary OS) and opened them in GIMP I noticed the same problem - they were all too dark. Screenshots are too dark - Virus - 04-13-2009 Would you like to upload and show us one so we can see what you mean, precisely? Screenshots are too dark - Salvador.P - 04-13-2009 Here you go: Screenshots are too dark - darthbeck - 04-13-2009 thats pretty normal. how does it look in game? also. try setting the gamma for freelancer higher. this will make every thing brighter Screenshots are too dark - Salvador.P - 04-14-2009 In game everything looks brighter, there are no dark shadows. If I set gamma more than it currently is, it would be too high. Ah well, I guess I'll just have to tweak these screenshots a bit in GIMP. |
