House Corporation Trade Circuits - Xoria - 10-05-2009

The trade circuits presented in the linked chart are constructed from the most recent available price data. These are not all of the possibilities, but are some of the most profitable possibilities that begin and end at the same station. Select the tab at the top of the page for the corporation whose trade circuits you wish to examine.

The first sheet is a list of "Civilian" circuits, which are primarily important to beginning pilots who cannot afford to spend much on initial cargo purchases.

The corporation circuits were constructed by :
1. Selecting a station belonging to the corporation.
2. Transporting the commodity produced at the station to each of the highest profit margin consumers available.
3. Following the best profit margins available to eventually return to the original starting location.
4. Circuits listed under a corporation's name do not involve docking on station's belonging to corporate rivals (as best as could be determined from faction infocards and official faction diplomatic listings).

Some corporations have more trade circuits listed than others due to the possession of more stations by some corporations, or a greater number of commodities produced at those stations.

I would like to point out that Synthpaste really shouldn't be used as a commodity in Samura trade runs.

They also should not be supporting a Bretonian corporation by landing on California Minor. Even the Deshima part is pushing it (they have a Kishiro manufacturing place there, why would Samura want to visit?)

Kishiro should definitely not be visiting Nansei (the Samura-backed research station) either. Or carrying gate/lane parts.

I'm also pretty sure Kruger can't go to Okinawa. I'm not sure if the Sigma-travel thing was RPed changed, but if not, they shouldn't go to Kusari either.

The fact there's finally a decent fertilizers/synth paste route though is pure awesome. :yahoo:

To make it be something other than sounding like a complaint, I will come up with some Samura routes later as suggestions.

Kishiro is currently hashing out a deal with Ageira to Gate/Lane Parts in and to Kusari.

The sooner the better, since there may very well be bug fixes released soon. Prices can be adjusted in certain circumstances if existing ones are inadequate to complete circuits.

Gallic routes were not listed for any particular corporation, nor was there an attempt to be completely exhaustive for any region, commodity, or corporation. The chart is just a starting point for your own exploration.

my apologies for being slow, but are house/faction circuits now more profitable than normal ones now? or they are still hindered by (soon to be) powertrading?

What do you mean by "normal ones"?

Non faction specific, simply trading for the highest profit available, freelance trading.

edit: I hate to say this, but I mean OORP trading.

Well, yes and no.
If you use a corporation ID, you are then limited to some extent about where you can go, because every House is at war with another House, so that excludes one House as a trade option for most corporations. If you try to get around that war restriction by using a Freelancer ID, or Independent Trader ID, or even Smuggler ID, then your cargo size is limited. So a non-corporation ID will allow routes from some bases that a corporation ID would not allow (like gold from BMM Graves Station to Kusari if you have a Bretonian corporation ID), but you can carry less gold due to the cargo restriction. For the most part, blockade running does not offer greater profits at the moment, although there are two notable exceptions available in Dresden.

Except for some other oddities, you are unlikely to be giving up higher profits by only trading with Houses that your corporation's House is not at war with. You aren't making more either though, except insofar as you are impacted by a House corporation ID allowing a larger cargo hold.

In no case would I call what you decribe oorp trading or powertrading though. Blockade running is precisely what a smuggler would do, or what shady companies or employees would do. Commercial crimes are just as common as violent ones, after all, if not more so. I don't recall anyone being hauled into court and charged with oorp when French companies were caught doing business in Iraq with Saddam Hussein in violation of international sanctions. Greed and corruption are just as legitimate forms of roleplay as anything else is.

Let me put it another way : if you use the circuits in my chart, you'll be making roughly as much as if you were doing anything else you can come up with. You can also easily use them as a starting point for some more creative circuits, some which might make more, some which might make less.

If that doesn't answer your question, then I still don't understand what you are really asking.
