Thrilling conclusion to the Liner discussion - Dusty Lens - 04-10-2010

For people who find reading an entire post to be an insurmountable task:

Do not post about human trading. Xoria is apparently providing us with a rich tapestry of human flesh to move about the sector.

Simply reply with a letter. I will count the letters later. Please try to keep discussion to a minimum to abstain from cluttering. Concerns may be PMd to me.

Discussion here

Replies which fail to adhere to this system will probably be targeted for deletion or something equally draconian. I am going to attempt a system of represented voting which will doubtless fail due to failure of character.

A) The liner system remains as it is for ID/usage purposes. The ships are unchanged.

B) The liner system remains as it is for ID/usage purposes. They are given a buff (Mjolnir permitting) and are hooked (Cannon permitting) to only permit a certain degree of non human cargo.

C) Liners become faction property like other ships and are treated like transports for ID purposes. Otherwise remain the same.

D) Liners become faction property like other ships and are treated like transports for ID purposes. They are given a buff (Mjolnir permitting) and are hooked (Cannon permitting) to only permit a certain degree of non human cargo.

Liners become faction property = Lux Liner becomes OSC. Prison Liner = Police. Bret = Bret. Slave = Some manner of unlawful soup which I promise will make sense and not piss off AJbeast.

Please keep in mind that Yachts =/= Transports. Yachts are their own type of ship and are considered transports.

Please try to not be spammy gits. The results of this vote may (but are not ensured to) change things. Act appropriately.

Given a buff because of their ID restrictions. The non-human cargo would suck with the current trading.

I am moving this to the top of the post from the bottom.

... but let's focus on getting a bunch more liners in the mod. I don't see why we have a luxury liner, a prison liner, a slave liner... but no "middle class" liner. Something generic would be nice.
