So a faction idea of mine was a Luxury Liner faction. I just want opinions on the idea so bare with me if it seems stupid.
1) I know there are ALOT of trader faction
2) The Faction tag would be [LL] for Luxury Liner
3) Each person in the faction would be apart of OS&C
4) It would be a group of hard core Luxury Liner RPers or escorts. (If you have seen the Luxury Liner Takuma that's an example)
5) All players in the faction would either own a liner or be escorting one of them.
6) Each player MUST have at least 1 player over level 40.
7) Each ship would have its own story line created by the player of the ship
Theres a system Im lookin into if I actually follow through on this.(All lays on the opinions and on who would want to join). (And I know it will have to stand for 4 months.)
So far what do you think. Ill add more when I'm more awake.(Sometime tomorrow.)

well, you have had a basic idea for it - but not yet a full faction description with all relationships to other factions etc etc. ( might look into the other faction posts )
i m not sure - but i think i saw a Spa and Cruise faction around some time. and there is the slavers union, which uses luxory liners, too - well for a different purpose though. - maybe not make a faction at that time, but just test out with people how it works - and after you have your trial time you can work out a complete faction sheet.
usually the community is much more open minded about trading/roleplaying factions than pvp factions, so i don t see a real problem, once you got it worked out. that is - if the concept offers enough depths to the roleplay to have long term fun.

Yeh the faction - faction thing Im hoping would be all out neutral given the normal hatred by pirates and what not...all those people who hate traders or try and make traders hate them. and from what ive seen on people who use the liners. none(so far) use it for Luxury purposes. other than that again still workin out them kinks in it. will probably take me another week to actualy get the thing rolling.

There is basically already a good concept for a passenger liner style faction. Join them since they are having a bit of trouble getting off the ground. If you try to start a separate one, it is going to go nowhere just like their's basically has : from lack of sufficient interest. So join forces. I bet they would be willing to incorporate your ideas. It is a corporation after all, and corporations have multiple divisions/departments, so there is plenty of room for several creative concepts and styles within that same faction.

Spelling 'Professionally' wrong is downright unprofessional.:P
On a more positive note, a Spa and Cruise faction could work, if you revolved around transporting passengers and VIPs.
