We had a big battle just now.
And, one of my enemies was lagging like hell.
He was not lagging like, lag - 4 sec pause - lag - pause.
He was like - lag - 1 sec pause - lag - 1 sec pause - lag etc.

My problem is next. I wouldn't care that much for his lagging, but it seems that if he aims at something while in lag,
he hits it when the lag is over.
So once it was like, he was shooting at me, he missed, then nothing happened for 4 seconds, and then i'v seen a RAIN of beams hitting my shield and hull.
All at once.

He was even 200m away from Nagasaki, and Nagasaki was not able to hit him at any moment.

But while he's shooting at me, and he is able to hit me, he is not hittable for us.
He was informed that he is lagging and that he should leave the battleground, but he ignored it.
His comrades were informed as well, they ignored.

I'm just interested, should there be some kind of a fair play, where someone would listen if 5 people tells him that he's lagging?
I mean, it spoiled all fun for me.

And after all, is that allowed?

there is 2 possibility..1..he is really lag like hell..2..he is keep disconnet and connect the route (keep unplug and plug-in the internet wire for his computer..)the second posibility is more like cheating....

I would say, yes, that playing under lag is allowed...I know I have, stubborn as I am...
I would also say, people should sort their lag. Though...if you have ever experienced it, you know how much you want to help your friends out in that big fight...

perhaps some rules such as "if you witness an odd amount of lag, advise to in system chat, and go to the nearest station. No one will shoot you and you will shoot no one." I don't know, but it's really annoying when that happens, only happens to me rarely when I try to dock with trade lanes in my huge train, it sucks cause I have to fly to the next one and try again...

i just know how insane that is a person using the second posibility in a battleship..impossible to dodge (because in his "lag world" it hits, and when he plug the wire back..the damage will counte..)....and all i can see is tons of beam..i dodged them.but still coute by hit.....and all those damage done in once--your shield has no chance to recharge to protect your ship..

Yes, lancer, that would be horrible.
Hope you don't believe I would do that.

HPB's shoukd be auto kicked, really.

It's unfair on others..

A laggy player is an impossible to hit player. I have fought many a laggy plyer in 4 years of freelancer and to be honest it should not be allowed. Auto-kick for laggers.Really! They ruin it for us all. I fought a guy a few nights ago he was in front of me then 8k away, then he was back, then he was front of me, then 8k away. No way is that fair on others.
