Trouble running Freelancer - VoluptaBox - 02-02-2011
Well, used to have windows vista, damn annoying and stupid windows, but freelancer worked. Today, for some reason I ignore, it simply died. Since I had to re-install anyways, I went for windows 7. But, here's the kicker, freelancer won't run. It says this:

Freelancer did not detect a 3D capable video card in your system.
If you have a 3D capable video card installed please try rebooting. You may need to reinstall the game.

Would be helpful to know which videocard you use and did you run everything as admin?

Run in compatibility mode with win XP SP2 and as an admin

Discovery includes the FLConfigDatabase patch that fix this particular error by adding support for newer video cards and drivers. The most recent FLConfigDatabase is available from: http://eoa.seriouszone.com/

No idea, it's a laptop and it's incorporated.
