NPCs - VoluptaBox - 04-05-2011 Before you tell me that there are other threads..well, I know it. But I really need to stress this one out. This comes after the most frustrating duel I have ever had. NPCs, ruined everything, first for my opponent, and then for me. At first, he was targeted by BH NPCs and I was targeted by the BH ones. A CD later, and I was targeted by the hole bunch, at least 12 NPCs. Annoying for the following reasons: 1. More often that not, they hit your mines, making the fight frustrating and impossible. This is not as important as others, but still... 2. Having 293823 lasers shooting, besides the damage suffered, is so goddam annoying, as the screen shakes badly, making the experience frustrating and impossible. 3. They costantly CD you (even outside of combat), making the experience frustrating and impossible. 4. For those of us with lesser connection, sends the lag through the roof, making the experience frustrating and impossible. Now, for the pros..there are some indeed. But in cases such as these, the cons outweight the pros. [/rant] NPCs - Charo - 04-05-2011 Ye, 90% of NPCs are just a burden, and would be better to see them removed. NPCs - Toaster - 04-05-2011 Yeah, outside of Hom/Guard systems all naval/military/police/etc NPCs should be removed. They really are annoying, and more often than not, one does not even notice those tiny ships flying by. The Transports/Freighter convoys should stay though. In fact, there should be more of them. And one should encounter them more throughout the entire system, not only (most of the time) along the trade lanes. NPCs - jxie93 - 04-05-2011 This thread again? NPCs will NOT be removed at all regardless how hard you cry for it. The only thing that'll be done to them is removing their CD's outside of guard systems and making them generally less annoying.
