Seriously, it's getting annoying. I'm tagged and ID'd Liberty Navy, and I scan some Liberty Police, and they're carrying a Zoner or other neutral ID. Something needs to happen.

ID..ABSOLUTELY!!
TAG...yeah..it is a good idea in general. Mandatory for a few I feel. Always mandatory if your in any CapShip. But some...ehhhh...not a big deal. Traders..folks in fighters....tag is not a major deal to me.
I'm not really into harassing folks with the wrong tag unless it is REALLY off. Actually I am not really into harassing folks about anything.:)
Today some Liberty lawfuls were harassing some guy who was in a Liberty fighter with Trader ID/Liberty Police Tag near manhattan because he had police tag and no police ID. I see nothing wrong with police tag and trader ID. Particularly if your in the home system for your police tag and in a faction ship. geeeezzzz
Now Police tag and Trader ID in Gamma....your gonna get in some trouble.
And people flipping out about tag and id not being a perfect match. I do not think that really helps.
Be kind to the person. Guide them. Help them. Educate them.
At least those are just my thoughts on it.

i think if u use liberty police ID then u should have liberty navy or police or LSF tag....just that it is someone who u are allied with... then it is ok with me...if u use trade ID u should have no tag or some neutral tag, it u got police it does not take 5 mins or loss a police tag by canceling missions

Unless they were in some kind of transitional phase, it would be completely and blatantly non-kosher RP. I understand that it is hard to get tagged Zoner, and occasionally accidents happen, but...they should be making the effort.
Frankly, I don't even think that there needed to be a poll on this one, since the obvious answer is yes.
I don't believe in complete Tag/ID strictness, however. I feel that you can create some interesting RP combos with them, for instance, a Interspace tagged train carrying a trader ID, or a Republican Shipping tagged fighter carrying a Military ID.
As long as you have a good reason for your ID and tag, then it should be acceptable.
It should not be mandatory to have a faction tag. That would completely kill the point of the game being named "Freelancer."
