It replaces the "[Player] died" messages, adding a bit more flavour.

It's been a bug that happens for ages, you're just noticing it more because it says something different now.

I know, but it seems like most of the death messages are "did their best" seems the server is having trouble picking up who did the killing more than usual.

imho, removing blue messages means that this place becomes less pvp-ish and more rp-ish. forgive me if im wrong, but i've only seen '<name> did their best' in red, not blue, meaning its a npc-kill not a pk.

to me the blue messages are just a beacon that says, hey so and so was killed by so and so better log so and so ship to come get um.

We both know pvp is rp. Red msgs mean its not in the same system, not that its an npc. (at least for me).

Ive claimed bounties with only so and so died messages, just gotta ss it. no need for the who killed him part.
