Yeah I noticed the mistake I made and made some corrections to the post, sorry for the trouble, was just trying to create some rp and a back story to work with. I've since rectified the issue and have been working today to study the rules a bit more closely. I've also been contacted by several people over Skype and pms to help get me situated and answer some must needed questions on my part, thanks all, and I should start actively rping here relatively soon.

Well it seems Max beat me to the "he meant billions". Would have guessed you were from 19th Century Britain to not be using the 'American' counting system...
Having a fair bit of game cash is good to help you get set up with most ships you'd want, but you should hopefully realise that it doesn't really give you that much inRP power (such as the Liberty thread mentioned here).
Unfortunately some people can latch onto things in the wrong way from time to time, such as being a "clan" and/or 'Skype conspiracy' (or TS, xfire, whatever) as we say. What I sometimes see with new players that can get to be a problem is when a lot of new players band together into a faction without any 'experience' on their side. What I really try to recommend to people is to spread out (or join as a (few) group(s)) into the existing factions and learn a bit more how the community works. Activity is all well and good, but powertrading for two weeks, buying caps and shooting all red that you see or sitting on Newark 'RPing' doesn't exactly give you a well-rounded Disco experience. On that last comment, and the clan problem, you may wish to read up on a few threads concerning The Judges/Judicial Order. While I thought they were getting a bit better recently (albeit not as much as I had thought, right when they started improving in my eyes) there were some aspects that earned the same sort of comments as my own above.
Back onto the positives, you are clearly good at trading so getting into the ones that interest you but hopefully also the ones who have more of a need for members. There are some escort roles there for people to get used to snub flying a bit more, or those of you with a bit of talent in that regard could make your way to one of the military or unlawful factions (GRN and KNF could do with the numbers as people said). After you have played here and showed promise for a bit, you might be able to get into some mid-command or leadership roles in those factions, or if you are interested can make a new faction of your own. I would just recommend using one of the NPC IDs that is empty, instead of making an entirely new faction or another one of the popular ones (like LN or Zoner).

I understand that this mod has had problems with newer players ect not understanding the rules, or how to roleplay. In the past 24 hours I have received a wealth of knowledge through pms and Skype, and that was proceeded by two weeks of research, although I was silent on the forums I was still reading house rules, server rules, ect.
I don't plan on getting wealthy than lolwhating, getting caps, and shooting everything red. I want to experience rich roleplay in a large universe.
I've, nor have any of my friends been sanctioned yet, and I don't intend to let that happen. I've painstakingly went to lengths to learn the community.
That being said just because I am new, doesn't mean I'm completely ignorant, furthermore this isn't the only role play game on the internet.
We have experience roleplaying and I know its easy to lump us in with some of the trouble that this server has experienced in the past, please don't discriminate against us just because we are new.
I look forward to getting involved in the community, and actually plan on flying a bit tonight myself. Im going to work out and when I get home I plan on doing some gaming
