RE: [Wanted] Modeller for AI Shipline - Titan* - 08-10-2014 bumpp RE: [Wanted] Modeller for AI Shipline - Unlucky_Soul - 08-20-2014 Its been a while, would like to submit some works. Bomber: http://p3d.in/me1Fh Gunboat: http://p3d.in/CVH0P Train: http://p3d.in/9Rb4Y Same model as before, fixed the asymmetric part. Carrier(Concept): http://p3d.in/bMyvg One of my old designs. Was wondering if it would fit with the AI-Shipline. RE: [Wanted] Modeller for AI Shipline - Treewyrm - 08-20-2014 Those outer shell plates are extremely thin. This creates a certain problem when working on a more or less accurate hitbox that would match actual shapes of the ship. So first of all add thickness. Avoid too much curvature - they look better without that as a more rough edged plates, besides saves polygons in a budget for more interesting and apparent details. Next on I'd like to see some sort of struts connecting these outer plates with interior parts. It doesn't have to be just simple blocks, but they do need to be there. Train polycount is unacceptable. Ships exceeding reasonable polycount budget allocated for their class is a problem to the point I'm considering replacing even existing ships that are known to. As a general reference on what these budgets are take average polycount of a particular class of ships in vanilla and multiply by 1.5, max 2. We can have higher details on ships, sure, but there has to be a reasonable limit too. Will work on a train replacement RE: [Wanted] Modeller for AI Shipline - SnakeLancerHaven - 08-27-2014 The Carrier looks more like an Etherium ship x) RE: [Wanted] Modeller for AI Shipline - SnakeLancerHaven - 10-08-2014 Bumping this, comon anyone? RE: [Wanted] Modeller for AI Shipline - HassLHoFF™ - 12-18-2014 Me bumping this....again... RE: [Wanted] Modeller for AI Shipline - Hidamari - 12-19-2014 why do AI's need a shipline. Cause we want one and cause it can be far different from other shiplines. |
