I go through Frankfurt with my non-smuggling traders if I'm headed through S-13. It's nice and safe.

Is Chugoku supposed to be secret though? They are building that jumpgate to it and such. The NB<->S-13 hole could probably go though, and the Chugoku hole being moved seems like a nice idea.

System map discussion thread - Cawdor - 09-22-2008

I heard rumors about new traderoutes and Jump Hole relocations, sov .... so cool down. it will be fixed in a way.

When was the last time someone went through Frankfurt and did not fit into one of the following categories?

A) Buying Adv. Train from Munich.

B) Is a Bundschuh, or is visiting the Bundschuh.

C) RP event.

D) Didn't know that there was a JH from NB to S-13.

E) Wanted to prove that people actually do go to Frankfurt.

F) Was looking for a magical JH to Texas (yes, this happened once... >.<)
Answer: Never.
I'll have you know that I actually go through Munich and Frankfurt all the time with my lawful traders. Only trader you'll ever see me using that jumphole is my smuggler, which makes sense doesn't it?

Random Note: I'm just saying this to let off some steam and it also fits in the subject of unjust stereotyping. The Guild Core DO NOT CAP WHORE!!!!!! I had a Corsair who kept whining about us using cap ships and having no experience in fighters/bombers, EVEN THOUGH we were fighting him with all bombers!!!! He even refused to believe that we fight fair. My God, enough with the cap whoring all you indy BH! You're ruining our image as well!

Sorry, I just had to say that. I've been holding that in all day.

I don't remember where it was (possibly the rules subforum) but I have a wall of text somewhere explaining the deal with Chugoku.

Basically, Samura suspects that there's a BD base in Chugoku, and made up a story about it being a good place to mine. They don't actually know, they're taking a big gamble and the fact that the BD are so insistent on blowing the thing apart keeps them from giving up. The entire purpose of the JG process is to get the KNF into Chugoku- but the KNF don't know that. The KNF are still unaware as to the existence of the JH in Hokkaido due to diligent patrols of the BD in that cloud, along with its convenient comm-jamming properties. Check the rumors on Kyoto for clarification on that. As for the GC that use that JH, their use of it is regulated (BD and GC are allies of convenience mostly, the BD absolutely despise their cardamine use) and if anyone so much as said a word then the Blood Dragons would tear them apart, along with whoever they talked to, along with everyone that person talked to. Kusari is not a forgiving place. And no, not all the GC know of that jumphole. That would be silly.

The Honshu JH is fairly well hidden, and the KNF did the BD a favor by walling in Kensai- they don't patrol the cloud because they already have a minefield. The S-13 JH is known to the GMG, but they keep that a nice secret... the GMG and BD help each other and have become bound to continue doing so out of a sort of mutual blackmail. If the GMG stop funding/training the BD, the BD release info on their transactions to the Kusari gov't, and the KNF blows the hell out of the GMG. If the BD stop doing the odd hit for the GMG, then the GMG sell out the location of Chugoku, and the KNF blows the hell out of the BD.

TL;DR

So, to recap, everyone with a decent grasp on recent construction projects knows that Samura believes the Chugoku system has great wealth in it, and because of this they are building a jumpgate to the system. Everyone except the BD, select GMG, and select GC don't know how to get there. The BD, GC, and select GMG know that there is a Blood Dragon base in the system, and select Samura officials are fairly confidant that it exists but do not know for certain.

EDIT: Yah, I know you guys don't cap whore (even though in RP you can, and almost should... O.o) but then again there isn't a lot of Order to fight in Sigma-13... or, there shouldn't be. Because of the amount of pirates, BH lollercruisers, and just people in general, there will sometimes be an Osiris or four in the area "destroying the Wild"... by camping Yanagi. And I'm glad that there are a couple of people who go through Frankfurt, but then again, look at E). You sure that doesn't have something to do with it, even on a subconscious level? If so, then I truly applaud you, you are one of a handful in this server of ~9000.

Excellent. Thanks for the info (which wasn't really too long). I don't actually get around to Kyoto too much. The political situation between groups in Kusari is very interesting, what with everyone funding and/or blackmailing everyone else.

Will the french pirates be allied to outcasts (we could think this part is not required due to outcast systems close from Gallia), corsairs (gaians close to Languedoc side) or just revolutionnary group like bundshuhs ?

O-92 is the "Unknown" system but there is a 2nd part now ?
What about the O-Delta/Unknown path ?

Why a way to O-Kappa from O-74 ?

As you can see on the map, the omicrons have been reconfigured to prevent any unlogical trade routes
And Some members asked Igiss to give a second entrance to dead-end systems (because, they are really dead systems...)

You won't be disappointed by the next version ^^ , You'll have to wait a bit though, but you will like it XD

As for the diplomacy, idk

System map discussion thread - sovereign - 09-22-2008

People will cry if the Outcasts get the Frenchies... plus, the Outcasts are from the Hispania just like the Corsairs, and the Hispania was one of the sleeper ships just like the Liberty, Kusari, Rheinland, and Bretonia, thus- Alliance scumbags who betrayed them. So joining up with one particular group of these people seems silly. If I read the Q&A right, they are a lawful house opposed to all the other lawful and unlawful houses.

O-Kappa -> O-74 means that there is a way for BHG to get to Delta without going through space they shouldn't be in. Thus, good. Thanks Igiss. Can you repeat your great wisdom by fixing the Chugoku-Sigma 13-New Berlin monstrosity?

And it's spelled Bundschuh.

System map discussion thread - Klaw117 - 09-22-2008

The Gallic House actually knows that not all the houses betrayed them, just a few, so they could be allies with one of the other houses. I vote Corsairs! They really don't have enough allies. The only problem is that they're on the other side of the map...
