RE: Discovery Mining Guide - Helo - 10-22-2023 Let's assume that mining bonuses weren't changed. HERE is list of of all ore sell points as per 22.10.23 RE: Discovery Mining Guide - Karyoplasma - 10-24-2023 Mining bonuses as per minecontrol.cfg for version 5.00.0.0 (last file change was Oct 05, 2023): General: All Ship classes <= 5 (all fighters and freighters) get a bonus of 1.2 to everything. Junkers Congress and B|- Bristol Construction & Manufacturing got all their bonuses removed. Hey Can I get a Dev/Admin Confirmation on this? RE: Discovery Mining Guide - Aingar - 10-24-2023 Bristol is mislabeled as "Zoners" aka dsy_license_ga_sol_grp. They have copper mining bonuses. As for Junkers, they've had bonuses on mining Premium and Regular Scrap, but in this patch, Premium Scrap got removed, and all scrap fields in Sirius got reactivated to drop regular scrap. Regular scrap is mined at a very high speed, so any bonuses wouldn't really mean anything really. Instead, Junkers have efficiency bonuses on scrap processing refineries on POBs. RE: Discovery Mining Guide - Haste - 10-24-2023 We may also (re)add a MilSal field or two - likely overlapping with regular scrap fields - in the future and bonus Junkers there so they get higher yields, but those are future plans. I'm pretty sure generic IDs (Freelancer and Pirate) still have much worse drop rate than any nongeneric ID, including IDs that usually do not mine, let alone collect scrap, like Outcasts. Is this intended or a bug? All factions/IDs mine all the 'low tier' mining commodities at the exact same speed. Those include Scrap Metal Water Oxygen Toxic Waste Hydrocarbons Alien Organisms Uranium RE: Discovery Mining Guide - Sally - 10-24-2023 (10-24-2023, 12:29 PM)Aingar Wrote: All factions/IDs mine all the 'low tier' mining commodities at the exact same speed. And all debris and asteroid fields that have these low tier mining commodities drop the same rate? If so I'll have to double check to make sure once again, but I recall that Outcasts could mine 550 units of scrap in less than 5 seconds on the Hispania debris field, the same amount takes much longer on any debris field in NY with a FL ID. I just copied it how it is written in the minecontrol.cfg as I wasn't sure what group the license group referred to. Sorry for the confusion. Also, you might want to check the bonuses for the "Kruger Mineralien" player faction. Their aluminium ore bonus is specified twice (line 169 and line 171) and I don't know whether it stacks for an 8 times bonus (I don't think it is intended to stack) or is just a duplicate line with no effect. |
