Athenian, I posted that concern after I read the exact line from an admin saying "You cannot see an evidence unless the sanction reporter agrees on". These are not my own words and sincerely, no "explanation" was there to show "Its because we don't have the files". And I guess I saw this attitude more than once especially in the last 2 months or so.

Different issue = different discussion?

As to this discussion, it seems a tad circular at this point.

1.2 exists.

Clarification of 1.2, in any color, is rather a farfetched "wish".

There are no "hidden" agendas involved.

I trust that it will be used wisely and sparingly.

Pair o' digms.

Seems I am out of the loop on this one. I thought it was in reference to http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=43655 which was explained, but it must be another one.

It doesn't say anywhere in FA rules that if you drive a car onto a pitch and run over the opposition that you are breaking any rules. But you'd still get punished for it. Measures like 1.2 exist in every game.

Yes, people have really great imagination when it comes to doing crap within the rule-box. It's better we have a rule that can cover up mostly everything that can possibly occur.

Why we bother ourself with this? It is already done and we can`t do anything with this! Some of us think this is good rule and some of us hate it.
I hate it but i must obey...

Stile: how do you propose we cover every single eventuality with a rule? People complain about there being to many rules now, I shudder to think of how many rules there would be then.

Hawkwings: Easy...every time you get report for something you think it harm our community post new rule...soon you will cover all blind spots...but at least all players will know what is forbiden to do.
And if you say people already complain about lot of rules then simply cancel all rules :yahoo:

That's... not a good idea. Why? Because every time a new rule is added, there is going to be a ton of discussion over whether or not it is needed, lots of yelling, flaming, and people generally being angry at each other. We could do with a lot less of this, and 1.2 covers the loopholes quite nicely.
