This whole thread is discussing peoples perception of numerous 'fails' at this FISTing IC thing.
What I think it boils down too is that you wanted a sub-faction for IC to go shooty shoot and now the questions are being raised about it's legitimacy and your circumventing answers.
FIST should be one in its own. IC should stick to trading stuff, throwing around (what seems to be your money) cash and not funding a renegade merc group to get your own pew pew fix.

Nope, still needing answers you're not giving.
Can't peddle away from this trike fight that easily bucko.
Rule wise they might be different, but the fact remains that IC, and in turn, you are responsible for mixing the two together.
So, when you finally give up being leader of IC, and go forth on your journey of glory of FISTing, you'll be stealing IC cash to continue funding a relatively new (and if you are going to be correct in saying it isn't an IC sub-faction) and very poor group. Are you meaning to say FIST will actually fund itself with out IC divine intervention?
I think that is the question at large here.
As for IC 'Owning things'... I am still yet to see the relevant RP saying they own anything but big stations in front of the Houses capital planets, and the only thing I can see of late regarding them financing things is the FIST
