SF Message Dump - Hyperwave22 - 08-09-2007 Transmit to: All SF Personnel Comm ID: Jemma O'Hara It seems that SCRA has made a name for itself, and we are not the only ones with problems with them. After destroying a pirate in New London, SF forces (SFF-Cichlid, SFF-Grenthal, SFF-Bluebelly, SFF-Ronny, SFF-Thames) discovered approximately five ships of SCRA origin in Cambridge. Preparing to regroup in New London, and fly to Cambridge, I arrived at the New London jump gate to find several SCRA vessels. It took some time before all SF forces had regrouped. Eventually an AW force showed up to fight against the SCRA too. However, all SF forces and AW forces were destroyed. There was also an HF in system, but due to the desperation of the situation, we were not able to identify its intentions. It was soon deemed that the HF was too fighting the SCRA, but was destroyed very quickly. I only know that I ejected, but I am unable to know the situations for the other pilots. =END TRANSMISSION= (OOC: forgot to add this. This was definitely the best fight I've been in for a long time. Thanks to all involved.) SF Message Dump - Kinda - 08-09-2007 Transmit to: All SF Personnel Comm ID: SFF-Torquay Yeah, I made it out too, barely. The Grenthal has taken heavy damage, so I'll be using my Hussar, the Torquay until repairs are complete. Clearly some sort of training is needed as I at least was unable to cope with the dogfighting of the SCRA. Lt. Kinda out. SF Message Dump - BlueBelly - 08-09-2007 To: Commodore Hyperwave From: Trainee BlueBelly Re: Major Skirmish Present, However, my vessel took heavy damage and I was forced to eject during the final moments of the SCRA skirmish. My vessel, and I, are presently docked at Thames station in New London for repairs and a sickbay visit. Overall, my showing has been minor but I am improving for I have faced the pirate (Butler, 1-1) twice and, with the help of SF-Runny, we forced him into retreat and eventually dispatched him with the combined assistance of fellow SF officers. Humbly, Trainee BlueBelly SF Message Dump - Korrd - 08-09-2007 From: Korrd Message We did the best we could, but unfortunately all our new recruits were killed quite fast. My ship targeting computer had severe problem targeting them. I could only score 20% of the shoots, and that was not enough. Our leader lost his ship when one of the SCRA bomber rammed him, cracking his cockpit in the process. A quite dirty trick I may add. Here are some screenies from my flight recorder (read, im going to kill my ISP cause of the lag): http://gtpvic.googlepages.com/screen6a.jpg http://gtpvic.googlepages.com/screen7a.jpg http://gtpvic.googlepages.com/screen8a.jpg http://gtpvic.googlepages.com/screen17a.jpg http://gtpvic.googlepages.com/screen21a.jpg I survived to the encounter. Enough to say that I was not near the ship when it exploded. SF Message Dump - Rabid_American - 08-10-2007 Transmit To: SF Personnel Comm ID: Lt. Livingston (SFBC-Cichlid) I regret to report I was also apart of that battle unfortunately with all the havoc around me I was damaged badly until I was ordered by SFF-Ronny to focus on the gunboat but by then it was about time to eject. I did however take out Butler before this battle with my flak. I wanted to also use this flakking technique on the SCRA however I didn't want to put my brothers in arms in any danger so I held back and focused on missiles and infernos and my razor but it was not enough. I do apologize for failing the fleet in this skirmish and promise not to show such incompetence in the future. I would like to agree with SFF-Grenthal I think training for the newer SF pilots would have a great advantage to us in the field. I myself am new to cap ship tactics and would love to get a few tips and techniques to fighting different types of ships. I am also getting 2 more razors as all these flaks aren't proving to be useful in a grouped battle with allies and enemies swarming together in jousts of cannon fire. Also SFI-Tetra is almost done the only thing left is to get accepted by the BAF. Tonight I will take no mercy to pirate scum and if they are grouped when attacking you can bet that flaks gonna fly! Cichlid Out!! ****End Transmission**** SF Message Dump - Firebird - 08-10-2007 Transmit to: SF Personnel Comm ID: Admiral Firebird One administrative thing... RepEx have been moved from neutral to friendly status upon their request and matching status. I'm also pleased to announce two new recruits into the SF. AC Merc and Photuin will both be assisting Battlegroup Stormpike in its operations defending against the Kusari and other threats to Bretonia. As customary, head on over to CRS and ask Joanne for a round on the admiralty. And with two recruits make that a double. Cheers everyone...for the Queen and Bretonia. End Transmission SF Message Dump - Rabid_American - 08-10-2007 Transmit To: SF Personnel Comm ID: Lt. Livingston While in Cambridge a strange pirate flew in at full speed towards cambridge he was known by Dieter and myself and Torquay allowed me to intercept him myself. When he was close I asked what his buisness was he ignored and attacked I then attacked and destroyed him. I don't have visual confirmation. Just a heads up if you see Calico_Jack. Cichlid Out ****End Transmission**** SF Message Dump - Photuin - 08-10-2007 ---BEGIN TRANSMISSION--- Transmit To: SF Personnel Comm. ID: Trainee Photuin On my way to Bretonian space from the Edge worlds, a funny thing happened. I failed to notice that I had unwittingly tractored in several Nomad brains accumulated from various dogfights. I only noticed when I was scanned by a SA Cruiser in California. When he asked for the brains, I went through my options to see what I could do. While talking to the cruiser captain about my recent enrollment into SF <and why I wasn't tagged, I need money for the certificate>, a more aggressive Navy patrol <an NPC Guardian wing> forced me to drop most of the brains. In the end, the cruiser captain let me off; I never needed to drop the brains. At least I kept the guns. Well, patrol duty is rather boring, just the occasional Outcast and Molly, I hope to be assigned to do something important soon. ---END TRANSMISSION--- SF Message Dump - Lt. Brown - 08-10-2007 OOC: srry 'bout that, try to get that tag fixed up asap;) (also, im a commander, not a cpt. ) SF Message Dump - uspatriotsf - 08-10-2007 To: All SF Personel Comm ID: SFF-Wellington I would like to proclaim my jubilation that I feel having been welcomed among the mighty SF. My Templar the SFF-Wellington has been commisioned and is fully equipped. I look forward to flying and fighting along side all of you. Long live the Queen and long live Bretonia. Wellington out |
