Patrol report #25 29.12.817 A.S.
Leutnant Wolfgang Haynsworth.

Patrol began at about 11:08PM New Berlin standard time. I engaged launch procedures, and took off into the abyss. At first I headed for the Hamburg Jumpgate, via several tradelanes. But I recieved a communication from a trader indicating possible pirate activity in Frankfurt, I turned my ship around and headed back towards the Frankfurt Jumpgate. Upon arrival at the Gate I initiated jump procedures and headed into the jumpgate. I was pulled into its gravitational cannon and fired into the Frankfurt system. Once in the Frankfurt system I headed towards the central intersection of the system, where the disturbance was indicated to have originated. Upon arrival I found the sector was clear. I then headed to inspect the system lane by lane, station by station. I recived a communique indicating that there was an inbound ION storm however, So I docked on a near battleship who's name I can't recall right now. There I waited out the ION storm. The Battleship lost power after the storm and I was stranded for several days, without running water or lighting. not quite the holiday the people on the planet the Battleship was orbiting must have been having.

Report ends.

"Guten Tag.

During our Routine patrol trough New Berlin, we received an distress call from several Mining Ship in Omega-7. The miners were under attack by Corsair pirates, so Leutnant Voelkel led a small wing of RM ship there to intercept the pirates. The Corsair Gunboat gave some struggle but the rest of them were eaten alive by our Horvipers.

After this swift victory the Miners at Freistadt repaired and refueled our ship, and we continued on our patrol.

Some time later General Rall ordered us to Hamburg to intercept a Bundschuh Raiding party
Obergefreiter Otto Weddigen, Planet Hamburg. What was trying to breach trough Vierlandes defences. Four of their elite pilots were luring near the asteroid field, and after exchange of insults we engaged them, regardless of their superior numbers.

The fight took longer and longer, without any clear progresses, one of their fighter was badly damaged, and the General himslef was comeing up as backup, when a strong Dark Matter Storm hit all of us. And all Computer systems failed.

When the storm lessened, only myself and on Bundschuh Fighter were still there.

I reported the situation, and was ordered to disengage and move to new Berlin, to assist in a fight versus a the red Hessians.

"Guten Tag.

On this day, I was assigned to customs duty, to ensure no war crucial materials pass over into Liberty. Patrolling the lanes near the Hamburg Gate, I stopped a Interspace Trade ship filled with MOX fuel. Upon asking its Capitan claimed to be hauling it to the Kusari Battleship in Kyushu, but then proceeded towards Hamburg course set on Liberty.

After several warning, including a warning shot with the Antimatter-cannon, the Interspace ship finally agreed to let itself be escorted out of Rheinland to Kusari.
I formed up with it, and with out any further incident, took it to the Sigma-13 Gate in Frankfurt.

"Guten Tag.

The Patrol under Leutnant Voekel, was easy going today, and without any incidents, when suddenly a Red Hessian Sabre flew across Planet Hamburg doing sensor sweeps.
Trying to intercept him I was surrounded by three Hessian fighters, while Voekel was closing in.
When the Leutnant arrived, the Hessians immediately attacked.

During the fight another Hessians fighter and to Wraith of our own appeared, including General Rall, so the fight began to look to be in our favour, Admiral von Speer took personally command of the situation, from the remote RNC Danzig. The fight took over onehalf hours and neither side was beginning to gain an advantage, only one fresh recruit Strasser, was killed, when he entered the combat zone, and since there was no end in sight and fuel on our fighters was running low, both the Admiral and the major General agreed to break of the attack and retreat to Alster Shipyard and Planet Hamburg. The Hessians, low on fuel themselves turned away and disappeared into the Alster asteroid field.

Patrol report #26 29.12.817 A.S.
Leutnant Wolfgang Haynsworth.

Patrol Began at aroundabouts 4PM New Berlin standard time. I undocked from the Battleship stated in my previous report, I headed into the tradelane to go back to New Berlin. Nothing happened up until the Jumpgate to New Berlin. I then took the Jumpgate. I continued on my patrol once I got to New Berlin, first by heading past our capitol, and then through to Brandenburg border station. I checked out to my usual 25Km radius and continued to Bonn Station.

Once I got there I made contact with a scout for a Daumann Convoy, I greeted him, he greeted me and then the rest of his convoy arrived via the Brandenburg to Bonn station Tradelane. I offered them my assistance should they need it. I then continued to Bonn station, I detected no major contacts.

After that I checked the Stuttgart jumpgate area, out to 25km. No major contacts. I headed back to Bonn station. From there I proceeded to Dortmund station, where I made contact with a tradeship. I scanned and cleared the ship.

I then proceeded to Braunshweig, I checked around all installations out to 25km No major contacts. I left the system and continued down to the Hamburg jumpgate. I again checked out to 25km and found no major contacts.

A rather uneventful day Mein Comrades.

Patrol report #27 30.12.817 A.S.
Leutnant Wolfgang Haynsworth.

Patrol bega at roughly 2:34AM New Berlin standard time. I know its late (Or early, depending on how you look at it.) but I couldn't sleep. So I decided to use my time effectivley and see what comes out at night. I headed into space, feeling quite a change it feeling at this different time, even though space itself was exactly the same, there was still a different 'Atmoshpere'. I scanned a couple of traders passing by Planet New Berlin, and then Proceeded to Dortumund station via tradelane. Upon Arrival I found nothing. I then decided I might get some evasive manuevering practice, so I headed to Braunschweig. Once I arrived in Braunshweig I started on flying practice starting with tight turns, rolls, Engine kills, and more. I spent three hours just Practicing. Well I could have spent longer, but my engine couln't take the repetative forces and a couping exploded. I was forced to make an Emergency landing on Battleship Moselle. From where I write this report in some clean and tidy quarters. I have to say the Janitors here do their jobs well.

Patrol report #28 31.12.817 A.S.
Leutnant Wolfgang Haynsworth.

Patrol Began at roughly 12PM New Berlin standard time. I was about to engage maximum throttle, when all of a sudden an alarm went off in my cockpit, seems my engine was reporting two faulty 'O' rings in the main fuel line. Those Mechanics really need to double check things, if that hadn't of been picked up by my Wrath's diagnostics computer I may have exploded on take off. I headed back to my quarters and called the Mechanics back, I then proceeded to tell them the finer points of what may happen should that happen again. I think one of the Mechanics was quite worried ( I'm not really the kind of person who would enact such a threat, I'd just write up a report and forward on to their superiors.)

After 4 hours of work, I headed out, I received a communiqu? from Herr Bernhard Hesse, He wished to engage in Virtual training with me as his opponent. I accepted his offer, and we both headed to the Virtual training Simulators on Battleship Mosell, Braunschweig.

Upon entry into the simulator, I knew I was going to do badly, I hadn't used a simulator for a while. Well I thought I'd still give it a go. I ran the simulation and me and Herr Bernhard Hesse were whisked into virtual space. Our first engagement was one of the longest, we passed each other many times, and we both seemed to stick with our training and firing our Razor cannons at roughly the same time. In the end I was shot down. No surprise there. We ran many simulations, but then end result was always about the same.

Following are some Images I retrieved from the Simulation:

Submitter: Leutnant Alec Voelkel, Rheinland Military.
Recipient: Members of the Rheinland Military High Command.
Subject: Outcasts moving in (Report #30)

-------------------------------------------------------

Sehr geehrte High Command,

Following the destruction of two other Outcast Tridente-class gunships yesterday, I decided to inform the whole of the High Command regarding my assumptions. With the approval of Major General Rall (who also participated in the destruction of three [!] Tridente gunships yesterday), I gathered the visual data I have acquired in this week's operations.

I also have the ship designation of two additional Tridente gunships, however I don't have guncam footage on them, since both were dealt with by Major General Rall. Those two baring the registration codes of Crazy and |Slayer|, the former is still wanted for attempted piracy and firing upon a Military officer, the latter has been already destroyed.

As it is rather obvious, the Outcasts have begun their operations in Rheinland again. Even though the ships we had to encounter were all piloted by small-time, rookie pirates, probably not even real Outcasts, it became apparent that we have something they began to show interest in. Originally, I thought they were after the corporate miners we often have to protect in the Omegas (yes, we had to take out several of them in the Omegas already) and are fighting the Corsair competition, but yesterday's events changed my stance on things.

I was called to duty by Major General Rall, him and Gefreiter Schubert Shetland were in pursuit of several unidentified pirates, turned out to be Outcast Tridentes, as they do so commonly lately. The ship, designated as Curry was scoping around the Westerwald Nebula, where several sensitive Military secrets are kept hidden. The gunship ran for it as soon as it saw us, judging by its light armor plating, it was the scout vessel gathering data about the military secrets located in Westerwald nebula. Major General Rall ordered a pursuit, while he attempted to catch up with his bomber while me and the Gefreiter kept the Curry under fire. The gunship covered its extraction with rear turrets, so it was not that easy to deal damage to it before it departed to Frankfurt via a hidden jump hole.

After recieving orders to pursue and taking the hole, me and the Gefreiter found ourselves in what should have been a textbook ambush, if not for the lack of professionalism the pirates showed. The pilot of the Werewolf-class fighter that should have covered the escape of the Outcasts, designated as Double Trouble was ASLEEP when our pursuit wing arrived. Thus, the Curry and another Tridente, the Destroyer ended up covering their own escort fighter instead of extracting the valuable data the Curry collected. That gave time for the Major General in his Snubnose to close up and deliver some heavy artillery support. The lightly armored recon vessel was dispatched with remarkable ease, the data he collected burned up in the explosion, obviously. After loosing their point man, the opposing force realised there was no point in their presence, the Double Trouble escort fighter, whose pilot was since awaken by the noise produced by the battle, fled in the direction of Planet Hamburg, while the Destroyer attempted to flee back to Frankfurt, probably to attempt the recollection of the lost data with a heavier armored gunship.

Herr Rall ordered us to follow the Destroyer, which attempted to penetrate the minefield guarding the outskirts of the nebula with sensitive Military data in the middle in the meantime. The ship demanded that we don't follow him, but of course we couldn't allow him to leave. After a brief chase through the minefield and the pockets of heavy radiation, he attempted to jump back to Hamburg, but the Major General's SNAC finished the job.

The presence of the Outcast ships near the Westerwald nebula made it clear that it's not just a few rookie pirates going after Kruger miners. These guys are after something big, something else even I don't know about. Thus, I would recommend the esdeemed High Command to take the necessary course of action, which would be obviously the beginning of the investigation trying to determine what is that they are after. I entrust this matter to the judgement of yourselves and am standing by for instructions regarding the subject.

Leutnant Voelkel signing off.

Patrol report #29 1.1.818 A.S.
Leutnant Wolfgang Haynsworth.

Patrol Began at Roughly 9:20PM New Berlin Standard Time. I reared up my Bomber, and headed out to protect a GMG representative from possible threats. I proceeded to Planet Baden Baden to Escort him through Rheinland. Upon arrival I quckly and quietly proceeded to move him through Rheinland. Upon arrival at New Berlin however I received information regarding a VF Fighter in the system, I had no time to land and change ships to my Bomber, So I decided to try to take on the threat with my bomber. I knew it was a slim chance but I had to try. I headed to the Target location, and on the way got a wingman, Feldwebel Kreuzchen. We both proceeded to engage the VF target, who had also acquired a wingman. I spent most of the fight dodging Plasma and getting a few rounds in, but didn't really do to well at all. I was shot down roughly 12 minutes into the fight, after managing to damage the opponents ship a little.

Patrol report #30 2.1.818 A.S.
Leutnant Wolfgang Haynsworth.

Patrol Began at 12:45PM New Berlin standard time. I was called out on Patrol by Herr Volkel. I took a Feldwebel as a wingman, and was assigned to patrol Hamburg, Stuttgart and Omega 7 by Leutnant Volkel (I gave command to him, because I didn't want to be messing around with agreeing on commands and such, and he also has plenty more experience). Me and my Wingman (Feldwebel Kreuzchen) headed to Hamburg for our First patrol of the day. Once in Hamburg, We travelled to Alster shipyard, then on to Planet Hamburg. Once we reached Hamburg we received a communiqu? from Herr Volkel, Indicating a possible SCRA disturbance in Omega 7, We headed back to New Berlin (I was going to get into my bomber, in case of a Capital ship threat.) From there we headed on to Stuttgart, then onto Omega 7.

Once in Omega 7 we received radio messages from two SCRA ships, one of which indicated to be a bomber, and the other, a gunboat. We headed to within roughly 6 Kilometres of the SCRA Poisition. We then proceeded to inform the SCRA operatives that they were under arrest. They just gave us a bunch of rubbish about how they are working to free the people and how the Rheinland military is oppressing them yada yada. We then detected two Red Baron Operatives coming to the assistance of the SCRA ships. We were now outnumbered 4 to three. The leading SCRA Operative offered to try to settle things over some Vodka, to which Herr Volkel agreed, and they were talking for roughly 10 minutes. what must have been spoken can't have been good, because we were targeted and engaged shortly after the talk ended. Seeing as I was in my bomber, I decided to try to lead the Enemy ships, since they were attacking me (Probably because I was a threat to their gunboat.) I managed to lead them for about 5 minutes, but then I sprang a coolant leak and I was forced to eject.

Unfortunately most of the data from my flight recorder was lost, all I managed to get was fragmented data detailing the SCRA Operatives involved.
