SF Message Dump - Kinda - 08-24-2007

To: SF
Comm ID: Commander Kinda

Then second rounds on me.

In completely unrelated news, I will have to take a leave of absence, as there is a personal emergency requiring my supervision on Cambridge (OOC I just moved into a new apartment and internet won't be hooked up until next friday.) I will however, have intermittent contact with the fleet until next friday.

Kinda out.

Diplomatic Report
TO: SF High Command
FROM: RepEx Bretonian Liaison
SUBJECT: UOG Attack in Cambridge

Dear Sirs,
Last night our trading convoy was "taxed" and subsequently attacked by the UOG in Cambridge. As far as I was aware, this violates their agreement with you not to pirate in SF controlled regions. We are sending this transmission to make you aware of this fact. We ask nothing of you but rather just keeping you informed.

Thank You,
RepEx Bretonian Liaison

SF Message Dump - Firebird - 08-25-2007

To: SF Personnel
Comm ID: Admiral Firebird

Situation Report: SFF-FIREBIRD
Undocked from Cambridge and received reports of a chase in progress of a terrorist named Mon'star. Proceeding to Norfolk and then to the Omega-3 jump-gate encountered said terrorist and joined the chase. Briefly engaged by several QCP and SF personnel, the terrorist spent most of his time dodging fire in his slipstream. Breaking out of the engagement despite several CD's (think he used about half a load of countermeasures to get out of that one, lol), he was chased back to New London. Noticing an attempt to dock with a tradelane and run to Manchester, the lane was successfully disabled but the target fled before suffering sufficient damage to disable him. Chased to Dublin, Mon'star was unable to fly out of the system and consequently crashed docked at Arranmore with a small fleet on his heels. With the once terrorist, now terrorized into cowering behind the protection of the Molly's, I returned to my patrols back in Cambridge.

(good chase, and given the odds...ya I'd run too)

Here is the current training outline that has been devised with the help of the Admiral.

There will be several positions to be filled by appropriate members. If you think you can fill one of these positions, post or PM me:

It will be divided into seminars on certain ships and their combat styles. Here is the general idea:

1-2 Supervisor(s) - Responsibilities include organizing and instructing all pilots in combat skills, strategies, and tactics.

2-3 Assistants - Responsibilities include assisting with general organization, and instructing pilots in combat skills, strategies, and tactics. Assistants may change dependent on situation.

Seminars - Combat training for specific situations and circumstances

Fighter-Fighter - Focus on fighter to fighter combat

Fighter-Bomber - Focus on fighter to bomber combat

Bomber-Bomber - Focus on bomber to bomber combat (if necessary)

Bomber-Capital Ship - Focus on bomber to capital ship combat

Capital Ship-Bomber/Fighter (emphasis on gunboats) - Focus capital ship to bomber combat

Capital Ship-Capital Ship - Focus on capital ship to capital ship combat

If there are any more seminars that you would like to see, or believe that you can viably fill a supervisor/assistant position, contact my office. If you have any questions, do the same.

Situation Report: SFF-FIREBIRD
Mostly quiet in Cambridge, performed an equipment finding operation in some of the outer sectors. Recovered some weapons for SF stock. Performing patrols in Cambridge encountered a Corsair gunboat named The_Obliterator which asked for a $3 million tax, lol. Engaged the corsair immediately outside of Norfolk. Dodging fire, the weapons on my fighter could do little against the gunboat's shields and it took a while for the Norfolk's guns to train onto the corsair vessel, must of been something odd with its IFF. Once properly scanned the Norfolk then openned fire and the corsair retreated back to Omega-5.

OOC: Not a bad fight, but being a Corsair means Bretonia is not neutral;)fix the rep for next time, particularly if planning to pirate in the area.

Upon arriving on shift, my duty commander presented me with a problem in New London. After taking a further look at it, I realized that Phantoms were in New London. Immediately flying to the NL jumpgate, three Phantoms were encountered and engaged almost immediately.

After about six minutes of dogfighting, a Bretonia Police vessel flew into my path and was hit by a burst from my fighter. Taking me as hostile, the police began to focus on the Phantoms and on me. The overwhelming firepower, in addition to my running low of shield batters and nanobots alloted me about three minutes before I was destroyed. Only shields were damaged on the Phantom side.

I am hoping to get out of the hospital in a few minutes as I only had minor injuries.

(OOC: Great fight, and I enjoyed it. Although, would have been nice if there were more lawfuls there.)

In my first patrol back, I decided to do some trading. I was running a trade route when I was contacted by Tomahawk, whose battlegroup is requesting to join the SF, so I directed them here or the Admiral's personal comms channel.

Also, while running the trade route, Queen_Anne's_Revenge and later, an HF member demanded money from me, I declined to finance the pirates and continued my run with only minor hull damage, and still making a hefty profit.

Commander Kinda out.

To: All SF Personnel
Comm ID: Cmdr. Wyvernhead
Subject: Weapon Setup

It has been concluded that the SFF-Wyvernhead has been neglected and not fit for service. I would appreciate if someone could PM me a weapon setup example for a templar. Do also include where I can find the weapons. A setup for a bomber would also be very appreciated.

Cmdr. Wyvernhead out.
