RE: Gallic Permits - EFL Oil and Machinery - 03-09-2013

Bonjour-

I am happy to announce that EFL has started building a base in maine.
the location is off the tradelanes and away from Planet Le Mans. The base name is Perenco Terminal. Please add this base to your data base of bases in gallia space.

All GRN and GRP id signals have been added to the base so it can be inspected.

Thank you travel safe

CEO Xavier Christophe

RE: Gallic Permits - The Gallic Union - 03-18-2013

Bonjour Jason Kelly,

thank you for your patience, your request is currently in an interesting position. Some members are petitioning the King for its allowance as an essential aid to foreign trade whilst some are pushing for a different action because of the way your request was formulated, some interpreting it as bullying.

In essence a test for the new spirit of Gallia expansion against the old.

Dear Mr. Michaud,
Dear Mr. Reynaud

I hope the decision has been reached as OSI has no intention to influence either party. Therefore I will merely state that we are still waiting for an answer.

However, I wish to point out that it has never been our intention to "bully" someone. The citing of your laws was merely an insurance towards our self that the request would not be denied upon a - what we deem as - faulty understanding of Gallic laws.

Bonjour again Jason Kelly,

diplomatic relations can be frustrating at times and we are interpreting "- faulty understanding of Gallic laws" as understandable trepidation on your part.

Considering our long standing arrangement we can see no problem with the plans of OSI in Tau 23, we will of course need more precise details in due course.

Of course you will need to follow all the normal proprieties as laid out in http://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=81177 and allow GRN| automatic access and Gallic Police on request.

In addition, as this is principally a trade venture we would like Gallic Corporation vessels to be accommodated, again on an individual request basis. Another safe haven for these vessels is particularly important at this time due to increased mercenary activity in this area.

We would also request you do not infringe upon any IMG concerns in the area as they are also our guests in that system.

Dear Mr. Michaud,
Dear Mr. Reynaud

  • OSI is planing to include IMG in all aspects of the base. However, details have yet to be agreed upon.
We completely agree to the rules for bases according to your Base Regulations including access of GRN|.

  • Name:
  • Affiliation: Zoner
  • Planned Location: Tau-23 B/C 2/3
  • Extensive motivation and reason for construction: The base is planed to serve as a trade-hub between IMG and OSI in order to facilitate the exploitation of the mining fields.
However, your inquiry gave us the idea of expanding it's use by also serving as an import/export base for goods from and to Gallic space, probably with focus on gold ore and cryocubes.
  • Planned modules: Cargo Modules and - depending on the negotiation with IMG - maybe even weapon platforms for self-defense.

I hope this answers all of your questions and leads to a positive answer for our request.

RE: Gallic Permits - The Gallic Union - 03-28-2013

Bonjour, congratulations,

as long as you do not cause trouble with our current neighbours in the system then we envisage a harmonious relationship.

If you could fully follow all the procedure as laid out in http://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=81177 and let us know the name of the base when you start construction so we can register it on the database, that would be bon.

Although we realise OSI is a major hauling operation do not hesitate if you need help, I am sure IDF and EFL would willingly help the construction effort.

RE: Gallic Permits - IDF Shipping - 03-30-2013

Bonjour Permit Office,

IDF would like to rebuild its original base, Seychelles Outpost, with the same trade aims in mind.

It would be located within the same system, or as the front line seems to have consolidated and stabilised possibly one of the adjoining systems.

Sincerely
Joseph Pomeroy

RE: Gallic Permits - The Gallic Union - 04-02-2013

Bonjour IDF,
as with all of the Kings loyal followers there is no problem granting your request.

If you could fully follow all the procedure as laid out in http://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=81177 and let us know the name of the base when you start construction so we can register it on the database.

As normal we would expect any legitimate lGallic need to be accomodated with docking rights.

Bonjour,

I had not thought to contact you so soon after our last conversation. However, the lieutenant director has been most persuasive in her requests to expand Constellation's scanning and deployment range. We have managed to secure sufficient funds and manpower to justify construction of a space-based headquarters in one of two locations. It is therefore my pleasure to submit the following request for a base construction permit:

Name: Constellation HQ

Affiliation: Solar Engineering

Planned Location: Maine, Sector A4. Approximately 1.5 kilometers from Battleship Nogent-le-Rotroi, north and -Z of Segre outpost by approximately 1 kilometer. The position does not obstruct lane use nor possible use of the Sealed Jump Gate, should it be reactivated.

Extensive motivation and reason for construction: Our motivations in this matter are many, but here are a few of the most salient:

- Construction and Maintenance of Constellation Cartography's hyperspace equipment. We use these devices to calibrate our light fighter telemetry and to ensure precise translation of object coordinates/orientation to star chart form. The better-tuned they are, the more precise our maps can be.
- Improve deployment time of our mapping pilots. Re-entry times being what they are, it will be invaluable to have a space station from which to deploy.
- Expedited deployment and maintenance of our deep space scanning systems. Satellites are expensive and unreliable places to mount telescopes, so it will be beneficial for us to be able to mount such devices on a station.
- Last but not least, should the sealed jump gate ever be reactivated we wish to have ready access to the worlds occupied by the Normandy Separatists. No accurate maps of these systems exist, and nothing would please us more than the opportunity to add them to our database when the time comes.

Planned modules: In order:

- Shield Module
- Storage Module
- Core Upgrade
- Storage Module
- Hyperspace Survey Module Factory
- Jump Drive Module Factory
- Core Upgrade
- Storage Module
- Storage Module
- Storage Module

We currently have NO plans to weaponize the station. We believe that a shield module will be sufficient for defense while naval assistance mobilizes, should a hazardous situation arise. Should the sealed jump gate ever be rendered operational, we would be happy to make any modifications/weaponizations required by the crown for border defense. We do not plan to pursue cloaking device or docking module factory construction at this time, and will certainly clear such construction with the Kingdom of Gallia before proceeding should that change.

Warmest Regards,
-Martin Vernier
