That compact-ish cigar shape is the best shape for caps, great for turning and strafing. From what I can gather turrets seem to be located close to the centre, making aiming better than what it is on Ranseur and similar boats. Those things matter a whole lot, not just the stats (look at the current carrier with great stats but a bad model).
All in all I'm pretty sure it's going to be a good ship; I just hope Blodo don't make it too OP and able to duel a Turtle.

I Currently like my Carrier in terms on Weapons Specs and Firing Angles...
But this Carrier sure wins on Looks.
P.S: Hope the balancing team does a good job...Or im selling my Carrier for a Dread, because just with my carrier i killed a Rheinland Batttleship and a Gunboat alone...

Well they are reducing its size from what I`ve seen so it will be easier to fly it in Alaska, pardon me, it will be possible to fly the carrier in alaska and in rocks.
Now the carrier looks pretty much like a dread so i don`t think there will be so many differences, currently I beleive that the carrier will be a heavy version of the dread.
