SF Message Dump - Dieter Schprokets - 09-30-2007 Billy Bishop reporting Engaged Mon'star this evening in Cambridge, and destroyed his vessel with my new templar. It has seen a lot of action in last few days After dropping his shields, my mini-razor destroyed his ship forthwith. I for some reason did not encounter an escape pod, nor a corpse. Somehow, he escapes destruction or capture at every turn. The Rheinland Military had also reported this. We must learn how Monstar escapes. Perhaps its some upload process, like those so-called "Cylons" the BSG faction is always rambling about... Carina, Regina, Imperatrix! Bishop out (OOC Firebird google VRI, RCR's) SF Message Dump - Hyperwave22 - 09-30-2007 Transmit to: All SF Personnel Comm ID: Commodore Hyperwave Due to a number of conferences on New London concerning military (and war) matters, my ability to carry out duties in SF has been restricted to fewer hours than I usually log per day. The vast majority of the conferences shall be carried out in the next few weeks, and around mid-October, standard New London time, I will be able to resume more duties. By November on New London time, more or less full duties shall resume, if not hopefully earlier. I will still be working major duties for the SF during this time, but will not be able to carry them all out and/or log as many hours as I normally do (or would like to) in SF ships or my office. Please contact me personally for further details. Additionally, thank you to those that wished me a happy birthday. The drinks were especially good that night. =END TRANSMISSION= SF Message Dump - Firebird - 09-30-2007 Transmit to: All SF Personnel Comm ID: Admiral Firebird Situation Report: SFF-FIREBIRD Received reports of heavy pirate activity in Tau-31 and proceeded from Cambridge to investigate. Meet by several mercs offering their support to the crown in Leeds, our small group was preparing to move out upon sighting an Outcast Rogue Gunboat (Epigoni) carrying Bretonian pilots. The ship was consequently engaged upon refusal to deliver its cargo. Assistance for the gunboat consisted of ships from the RoS that were originally present in Tau-31. Facing 2 gunboats and a Outcast destroyer (Huegenot) with 2 SF fighters, a merc fighter(bomber?) and a RH cruiser, the enemy heavily damaged the RH cruiser forcing its withdraw from combat (death). The Outcast Rogue Gunboat, having been pounded prior to the arrival of its support, was the next to be become disabled and its cargo consequently recovered. With only fighters remaining against the two pirate capital ships still in Leeds, back up was called from Leeds consisting of the SFBS-EXCALIBUR. Faced with more even odds, and a ship capable of taking down the Outcast Destroyer's shields, the heart of the fight left the enemy and their ships were consequently defeated. Compliments go out to the mercenaries assisting the crown in their helping to secure the safe return of Bretonian pilots. Situation Report: SFBS-MAGNIFICENT Received reports of a single LDDLG Corsair Gunboat in Cambridge, vessel was engaging local BAF forces outside the planet but promptly left the local vacinity upon sighting of the Magnificent. With a multitude of ships in Omega-5 as backup jumping into Cambridge and having no support within several jumps for the BAF, a general evacuation of civillian transports in the area was called. With local traffic warned and the numerous hostiles in the area, the SFBS-MAGNIFICENT stayed within the protection of the planetary defense shield, while the SFT-NOMADIC moved out of system. The move to save the Magnificent for later protection proved successful when an Outcast Destroyer entered the area sometime later. Coming out of the defense shield, the Destroyer immediately opened fire. Faced against the Magnificent, the destroyer put up a good fight but was outgunned for capship combat. It was successfully disabled and forced to withdraw from the area (death). Situation Report: SFGB-RELENTLESS Received a comminique from SFB-BETA1 of a Hessian known only as "Troll" moving through New London and into Dublin. With several RoS ships also in the area, the Relentless proceed with caution to investigate with the assistance of a Madalorian cruiser. The RoS ships proceed to leave the system without incident or communications when the Hessian Outcast Destroyer was sighted. Attempting to control the area in the name of the Hessians, "Troll" was promptly engaged. Faced against a Cruiser and Gunboat, the Destroyer attempted to focus primarily on us rather than the Mandalorians. The tactic did well to damage our ship but with continued fire coming from the Mandalorians, the destroyer was in worse shape. With its hull nearly collapsed and needing but a few shots to finish the job, the final slugging match pitted us nose to nose with the Destroyer with the Mandalorian Cruiser coming around to bring its guns to bear. The last match nearly finished us with the concentration of fire but not before the final hit was made on the Hessains. A small shuttle was last seen leaving the destroyer but jumped to cruise before it could be captured. If this destroyer is an indication of an increase in Hessian activity, this could actually bode well for Bretonia as their war in Omega-5 could use the support from combat capable ships such as this. However, given its presence here in Bretonia, I suspect instead of helping to stop the Corsair advance, they'll instead hit Bretonian shipping and patrols, reducing our combat effectiveness and as a result helping our mutual enemy of the Corsairs advance on their positions in Omega-5. Only time will tell. Meanwhile, the Relentless is undergoing repairs at the Essex. Any members not responding to the previous roll call announcement made regarding inspection will find their names removed from the registry. I have received roll call replies from the following members, if your name is not listed here reply immediately: Admiral Firebird Commodore Hyperwave Commodore Kiggles Captain Kaiden (Stratus) Lt. End of Transmission SF Message Dump - Firebird - 10-03-2007 Transmit to: All SF Personnel Comm ID: Admiral Firebird Situation Report - SFDS-DAUGHTLESS Engaged regular (NPC) Kusari ships within vacinity of Holdum. Several battlegroups destroyed and prisoners returned to MacDuff for questioning and further transport to suitable POW facilities. Situation Report - SFBS-MAGNIFICENT Encountered Hessian Pirate Cruiser by the name of Teknikal carrying a score full of Corsair pilots in Cambridge, didn't appear interested in engaging BAF forces and with no prior actions against Bretonia was advised and complied to leave the area. Situation Report - SFBS-EXCALIBUR Encountered ALG tagged Huntress Cruiser by the name of Kokopelli carrying Nomads in Leeds, ship refused to stop when questioned on them. Possibly a scanner glitch with the mix of items (Neutral ID maybe?) but with the vessel not halting any further confirmation wasn't possible. Long range scan also showed the Nomad vessel Harbinger within the vacinity of Leeds, but withdrew to Magellan on approach. Also encountered Teknikal on his way out of Bretonian space. Added: Information has been provided which identifies that Kokopelli is carrying an Order ID. He has been subsequently added to the impound list for smuggling infractions and refusal to comply with SF instructions while in Bretonia. End of Transmission SF Message Dump - Hyperwave22 - 10-08-2007 Transmit to: All SF Personnel Comm ID: SFBS-Sierra Sierra was crippled and forced to retreat today in a battle near Southampton Shipyard. Against the Sierra were two OPG gunboats, a random Corsair gunboat, and another ship (IFF of bloodfish) which was likely a cruiser. Before, retreat, the Sierra was given assistance by a crew commanded by Edward Halsey in a Bretonian Destroyer. Before their arrival, the bloodfish was destroyed by the Sierra. The use of nanobots and shield batteries was initiated against the Sierra, which unfortunately didn't have any, but was saved by an independent crew commanded by Edward Halsey. Regardless of his valiant efforts, however, his ship was either destroyed, or he fled the area. =END TRANSMISSION= SF Message Dump - Firebird - 10-09-2007 Transmit to: All SF Personnel Comm ID: Admiral Firebird See what can be done to bring the Sierra to operational status as soon as possible. With the number of Corsair ships being able to hit Rhienland, Bretonia and defend against assaults on Crete by their enemies, steps will have to be taken to reduce their numbers otherwise the whole of Sirius may see Corsairs operating within their borders. It also appears that the Sierra was not the only one to encounter elite corsair pilots today. SFF-Gryphon engaged and destroyed a corsair taidiian bomber belonging to the Benitez family in Tau-31. Furthermore, reports were made that the ship had been operating in the area for sometime. End of Transmission SF Message Dump - Stratus - 10-09-2007 Transmit to: All SF Personnel, SF Command Comm ID: Captain Kaiden Very few of you will have noticed my return to Bretonia space. I barely noticed it myself. Adrift 250km from Cambridge in my personal fighter. With ship wide system failures, and no recollection of the previous month, I have no idea how I got there. I'm presuming I was kidnapped, by whom is a mystery as it could be any number of groups. The reason however that this is so important is because I am being accused of treachery. Very sensitive documents outlining the assassination of several key figures in Bretonian government were found aboard my ship. They were obviously planted there, I've never seen them before. These interrogators don't beleive that so easy however. I've been in this compound for 8 days now, with this my first contact with anyone. All I know for certain is that every ship under my command has or will shortly be pulled from service to be dragged though the investigation. Certainly something we don't need at this time. I can only hope that those forensics find something in my fighter that proves my innocence. I just hope nothing was divulged during my stay with the enemy. End Transmission (((OOC New pc, trying to get acc back))) SF Message Dump - Firebird - 10-13-2007 Transmit to: All SF Personnel Comm ID: Admiral Firebird Situation Report Fighter lossed in combat against a Order Osiris Battleship named Folti in Tau-31. Hired by a Corsair Taidiian bomber named Aesteroph in the nearby vacinity, I'll need to have a word with the MacDuff firing crew as apparently either they can't recognize a Corsair vessel or the ship was running some type of sensor jammer (neutral rep). In any case, I had engaged the bomber who's lack of skill explained the need to hire a battleship. Unfortunately, I was unable to finish off the vessel with the firepower of a battleship raining down from behind. What an Order ship was doing in Tau-31 leaves something to be explained as well. End of Transmission SF Message Dump - Dieter Schprokets - 10-16-2007 Billy Bishop reporting It is after careful thought and consideration, that I regretfully post my resignation from the Sirius Federation. I have served Bretonia well, but I have decided to use my skills as a Mercenary, due to the pressing economic needs of my extended family. Billy Bishop, signing off (OOC : Sorry, Firebird. Too many Factions. Have to Consolidate) |
