RE: ~ Kusari Naval Action Report ~(IRP) (AO) - WesternPeregrine - 01-07-2016 Sender ID: Intelligence Officer Yamada Kei, Matsue Command Center Receiver ID: Kusari Naval Action Report Location: Matsue Base, Hiroshima System space Subject: New Year Exile incursion casualties report Encryption: KN-Stdr15.A ![]() Konnichiwa, this is Intelligence Officer Yamada. Final count reports on the Battle of Nagumo have been received, and the command has divulged the following information. The Nagumo Battlegroup has suffered the main damage of the engagement. The Nagumo itself has suffered moderate damage, and some of the main weapon systems and auxiliary thrusters have been crippled. One of it's destroyer escorts has been lost in the battle, and another critically damaged. The Nagumo awaits for the arrival of another battlegroup to relieve it for repairs back at New Tokyo. The resident fighter squadrons have also suffered moderate losses. The 46th Flight Wing fought extensively on the Battle of Nagumo, and suffered considerable losses, sacrificing many of their pilots to ensure the safety of the retreat of the Nagumo Battlegroup. It has been relocated on Planet Kyushu and being reinforced. The 2nd Destroyer Squadron avoided being caught in the heat of the battle, and managed to escort the Nagumo back to Tsushima and then Kyushu. It is currently deployed on guard duty around the afflicted Battlegroup. As the Vice-Admiral Sakamoto informed, units of the 3rd Battlecruiser Div. moved to the Tau-29 jumpgate area at the time of the battle, but were not engaged in combat. The KDS-Akatsuki has drifted out of the combat area, and failed to report back to KNF communication channels. It's whereabouts and status are unknown at the moment. Reports suggest it's captain attempted defection, or that it was captured by the enemy forces in collaboration with elements of the crew. The KDS-Shinano was struck by internal power core failures, and weapon guidance failures at the start of the battle, and had to be towed away by one of the destroyers to Tsushima. It managed to restore some power supply to navigate on it's own back to Planet Kyushu, where it is awaiting orders for repairs. The rest of the 3rd BC division is awaiting on the KDS-Shinano area. The Admiralty has issued a war status alert to the Kyushu sector, and Fleet Command West has been raised to full combat status. Relief and reinforcement orders might be issued to other units in the coming days. RE: ~ Kusari Naval Action Report ~(IRP) (AO) - Yaoquizque - 01-26-2016 ![]() A Liberty Security Forces wing has violated Kusari sovereign space. Their appearance followed the presence of a large Alien entity accompanied with an Order cruiser, that roamed in the vicinity of Narita Trade Center. The LSF wing might have moved to Kusari to hunt the Aliens. This violation of our space is sadly the last occurrence in a long list. Last violation lead to an embargo on Liberty, which was eventually lifted. The LSF wing explanations about their presence in Kusari have been far from being satisfactory. No request has been made to the Admiralty to enter in our space. Two vessels have been authorized to land on New Tokyo. The ships were asked to land on Naval Forces spaceport, Shibuya district. I have given orders to treat the Libertonians correctly. They will be our guests until this affair is resolved. Sakamoto Ryoma. RE: ~ Kusari Naval Action Report ~(IRP) (AO) - Traxit - 01-31-2016 From: Nito Kaii - Kuroh Tatsuya To: Kusari Naval Forces HQ Location: Planet New Tokyo, New Tokyo Subject: Field Report 01 Kon'banwa, Today was my first flight after getting recruited into the First Fleet, I must say it was a very wild one today. First up we assembled at Planet Kyushu, Airi Kurowaka of the Kempeitai, Makita of the Sankyuu and I have decided to patrol New Tokyo, the first few lanes were clear until a trader came up from the Shikoku Jumpgate informing us there are two Golden Chrysanthemums, one was a Blossom heavy fighter and the second was a civilian gunboat Condor, once we engaged them I followed the gunboat so that we could eliminate it later, sadly, Airi Kurowaka was shot down by the Blossom heavy fighter a few minutes after we engaged, I left the gunboat alone and ran after the Golden Chrysanthemum. After catching it in Hokkaido, thirteen clicks away from the New Tokyo Jumpgate, I engaged in a rough battle which was a close one for me but I managed to destroy the vessel. After readjusting myself from the tough battle, I jumped to New Tokyo, only to find out that my collegues have engaged another Golden Chrysanthemum, going by the name \W/-Metal.Tango, a Blood Dragon gunboat. My colleagues took it down a few moments later. I went for repairs after the battles were victorious. After a few circles in New Tokyo, I stumbled upon a Percheron, wearing an EFL IFF, further scans have proved it was a Freelancer... and it was carrying contraband. The Freelancer was uncooperative at first and even attempted to assault me, but after doing some minor damage to his shields he stopped, took quite a few tries to convince him to pay the fine, in the end he paid 100,000 SC and was left alone. That was all for today, Sayonara. RE: ~ Kusari Naval Action Report ~(IRP) (AO) - Traxit - 02-01-2016 From: Nito Kaii - Kuroh Tatsuya To: Kusari Naval Forces HQ Location: Matsue Base, Hiroshima Subject: Field Report 02 Kon'banwa, Yesterday was a pretty big patrol, about 5 Chimaeras and an Umibozu. We sat at Planet New Tokyo waiting for the others, when suddenly a red contact came into scanners... \W/-Metal.Tango, the Chrysanthemum flying the Blood Dragon gunboat, my colleagues and I had a small chat with it, when suddenly an Order| ship came up on our scanners, I was instructed by my superior to follow it. Few moments later I catch the Order| in Honshu between Osaka Storage Facility and Akita Border Station, where I scanned his ship and had a small talk with him. After the talk I had a tough battle... but prevailed and neutralized his ship. Code: Sighting of the Order I have no idea how my colleagues dealt with the gunboat, but they sounded like they had a lot of trouble, but they probably won after losing some wingmen... That was all for today, Sayonara. RE: ~ Kusari Naval Action Report ~(IRP) (AO) - Reid - 02-03-2016 ![]() :::Incoming Transmission::: :::Establishing video feed::: :::Video feed: Live::: ID: Mei Isogai Location: Planet New Tokyo Konbanwa, I started my patrol today by doing a sweep of Honshu. I found an Outcast hanging around Akita Border Station, but he left when I got within scanner range. I was about to chase after him when I was called to Kyushu to help with a pirate group. I met with the Okinoshima and Matsu-17 in New Tokyo. We were patrolling Kyushu when the Miners Guild told us that they found the pirate group and needed some help. We flew to Tau 23 to see the Miners already fighting the pirates, some gunboats and fighters. We engaged and quickly won. None of our ships took much damage, but the Miners lost two during the fight. We left after a Junker that attacked us docked on Cali base. The patrol went through Tau 29 and then back home, but we didn't see anything until we passed New Tokyo where a Chrysanthemum gunboat was sitting. The gunboat ran as soon as they saw us. We chased them To Oita, then to Galileo, and then to the Colorado jump gate where we decided it was Liberty's problem to deal with. From there we escorted the Okinoshima back to New Tokyo and called it a day. Attachments :::Closing Transmission:::
RE: ~ Kusari Naval Action Report ~(IRP) (AO) - Reid - 02-07-2016 ![]() :::Incoming Transmission::: :::Establishing video feed::: :::Video feed: Live::: ID: Mei Isogai Location: Planet New Tokyo Konbanwa, I met with Kobayakawa-san in New Tokyo for a patrol today. We didn't see anything until we passed by Planet Kyushu, when we saw a Liberty Navy Carrier. We ordered him to leave, but he said he had something to take care of first. He ended up fighting with a Chrysanthemum wing before being convinced to leave through Tau 29. We continued our patrol into Tau-29 where we found a station I haven't seen before, Peregrine Spaceport. We had docking rights, so Kobayakawa-san and I checked it out. We didn't see anything out of the ordinary, but when we undocked there was this alien ship. It attacked us, but when we called for backup it docked on the station. Our patrol then lead to Coronado where we decided to keep an eye on the system for awhile. Nothing really happened besides some freelancers hanging out by Barrier Gate. But when we returned to Tau-29 we found another Liberty Navy capital. He flew towards Freeport 6, but would not respond. We decided to leave him and head towards Tau-23. In Tau-23 we found some 101st pilots along with some other Outcasts. We tried to convince the 101st pilots that it was best for them to come quietly, but they wouldn't listen. Kobayakawa-san and I engaged the 101st, and I managed to take both of them down! But after the battle, the other Outcasts decided to engage our forces. I left to get a bomber, but by the time I returned all but Kobayakawa-san were destroyed. There was also a third Liberty Navy Battlecruiser there that had engaged our ships, by the name of LNS-Lemuria. I think Liberty might be planning something, to send three capitals into our space, with one firing on our ships. Attachments :::Closing Transmission:::
RE: ~ Kusari Naval Action Report ~(IRP) (AO) - Yaoquizque - 02-08-2016 ![]() Gamo Ujisato Konbanwa. This is Sub Lieutenant Gamo Ujisato reporting in from Planet Holstein, Frankfurt System. I was teamed up with Watanabe-san for a long range patrol in Sigmas and Frankfurt System. The patrol was going fine until we met a Gas Miner Guild ship in Sigma 17. The miner ordered us to stop, a demand we gracefully complied with. While being very polite, the miner, whose name was Namura Keiji, did not agree with letting us proceed with our mission, insisting on escorting us back to Honshu system. As I did not want to anger Hitoshi-san, and upon consultation with Watanabe-san about what our line of action should be, I decided to ignore the miner and proceed with the assignment. Sadly, Namura-san started to shoot us, and eventually destroyed Watanabe-san's ship. The miner then attempted to destroy my ship as well, until I could escape and make it to Frankfurt System. Watanabe-san is not too injured. Fortunately, I could recover his drop pod. However his raijin is no more. My ship was slightly damaged as well. I would humbly like to request new orders. It seems our way back to Kusari is blocked for now. Am I to stay in Frankfurt until the issue is resolved diplomatically, or should I attempt to return to Kusari as soon as possible? All this is quite confusing. If the Guild intends to shoot our patrol on sight, this will make it quite complicated to protect Honshu system and the Sigmas from the Outcasts and Corsairs raiding bands. You can find attached to this transmission the logs of the encounter. Awaiting orders, Gamo Ujisato. RE: ~ Kusari Naval Action Report ~(IRP) (AO) - Reid - 02-09-2016 ![]() :::Incoming Transmission::: :::Establishing video feed::: :::Video feed: Live::: ID: Mei Isogai Location: Planet New Tokyo Ohayo, Yesterday started with a mission to Rheinland. I met up Takeru-san, Tatsuya-san, Yamada-san, and Mochizuki-sama. After being told our mission, Mochizuki-sama left us in the command of Yamada-san. We were to investigate Planet Kurile for a possible anomaly, and then proceed to Frankfurt to retrieve Gamo-san and Watanabe-san. Nothing out of the ordinary happened until we reached Planet Kurile. On the opposite side of the docking ring was some kind of communication satellite. We didn't know why it was there, but it didn't have any hostile markings. After leaving Planet Kurile, we proceeded to Frankfurt to pick up Gamo-san and Watanabe-san. Both were unharmed and we returned home without any problems. After the strike team disbanded, I met with Ryuzoji-san in the Honshu system. We began a patrol into the New Tokyo system where we quickly found some Exiles. We tried reasoning with them to turn themselves in, but they wouldn't listen. We engaged the ships, and I destroyed two of them while Sakamoto-san destroyed the third. The rest of the patrol was uneventful, so we decided to do some virtual wargames. We simulated an attack by Exiles, Dragons, and Chrysanthemums on a Naval Battleship. Despite how hard we tried, and all our firepower, we ended up failing. But we did learn some valuable lessons, so we wont fail if it ever happens for real Attachments :::Closing Transmission:::
RE: ~ Kusari Naval Action Report ~(IRP) (AO) - Owen - 02-10-2016 Message to: Fleet Command Central Comm ID: KDS-Nagoya Ohaiyo Gozaimasu, Today was eventful, my Battleship patrol moved through the Shikoku system before into the New Tokyo system. Much commerce was flowing through and everything checked until I encountered a Freelancer pilot outside of Planet New Tokyo. He was hauling Artifacts and as such I ordered him to cut his engines and answer a few questions and to proceed to drop his illegal contraband. He failed to respond and didn't say a word, before presumably taking these Artifacts to Kabukicho Depot. I awaited for him to return and he did, again failing to respond to orders. He made a quick stop at Roppongi Station, again failed to respond to orders, making another stop at Planet New Tokyo. Upon leaving Planet New Tokyo he proceeded to flee for the Shikoku Jump Gate, when I decided that this type of behaviour was absolutely not tolerated in Kusari space and proceeded to fire, destroying his vessel and retrieving more illegal contraband, this time, Hypnotainment Bands. Obviously a risky Freelancer willing to break the Law of Kusari to get a better bang for his buck. Not on my watch. Sayonara, Commodore Ryohei Mizuno, Captain of the KDS Nagoya. RE: ~ Kusari Naval Action Report ~(IRP) (AO) - Traxit - 02-10-2016 From: Nito Kaii - Kuroh Tatsuya To: Kusari Naval Forces HQ Location: Battleship Nagumo - Kyushu system Subject: Field Report 03 Kon'banwa, Today, Isogai-san and I have gone for a patrol, we decided to venture beyond Kusari and into Tau-23. While approaching Java our scanners detected three Exile ships and a lone Royal Navy ship of the First Fleet. Turns out that the Exiles were expecting a small gift from the Royal Navy because they sent a message to her relative or someone she knows, the Royal Navy declined to give gift due to "lack of manners". After the Exiles acknowledged our presence in the system they started to trash-talk us with their usual republican insults, fortunately Isogai-san and I don't get offended by mere words. The Exiles have threatened us and the Royal Navy multiple times, not even hiding their blood-lust. I am seriously questioning if these people are even true Kusarians, having lost their sense of honour. Subsequently the Exiles have finally engaged us, I asked the Royal Navy to stay out of the fight to prove the worth of the Naval Forces' combat skills. It was a bloody two-against-three, but we have done well against these marauders, effectively neutralizing each and every ship they brought on us. As the fights advanced, more Exile reinforcements arrived and so did Royal Navy reinforcements arrived, it was one huge confusing battle, not knowing how many were on our side and how many were on the enemy side. Eventually I took down most of the fighters and Isogai-san got one too. At the final moments of the battle, Isogai-san was in deep trouble, her ship being under critical condition and being up in flames, the Royal Navy of the First Fleet and I jumped in to save her. Successfully we have taken down Isogai-san's pursuers, the last fighter escaping and jumping to Kyushu where it met its final moments. We cruised to Tsushima Depot and repaired our ships. We returned to Tau-23 and it was pretty empty, met a few Freelancers, an Outcast battleship and curiously a Core identified Sabre, but it was actually a Freelancer according to the identification papers, It said it was ex-Core... Strange to see Core related ships in the Taus. The Sabre's callsign was A/)-Bird.Of.Passage. May I add, that the Raijin has undergone fine changes when we gave the blueprint to Kishiro Technologies, It is actually much more stronger than our standard Chimaera, but also slower, but it's all worth it, Isogai-san and I are fans of it.
