Greet's Guildmasters, hope everything has been going ok?
Rumors have been going around, and Im sure you've heard some. Truth being, FP1 is putting together a more stable and formidable defense force to bolster the stations safety. The Omega War taught us a valuable lesson, that words alone don't stop mortars - and since then, though the war is over, and we made good friends, we've still suffered attacks - Pirates, Coalition, Infected, and even Nomads. Each time we've lost people, and I don't believe that neutrality can be the shield to save us from every enemy.
As a neighbor to one of your major shipyards, FP1 has, and always will be a friend to the IMG. Us bulking up our defense should hopefully add stability to the region, and provide even better security for both our interests in Omega 3.
So, for FP1's Defense Force armament, I'm requesting some tech.
In essence, Twenty Four (x24) "Vampire" Tachyon Cannons. These would be used to outfit [FP1] Identified Defense Force fighters, in order to protect the station from any ships that would threaten it, or the stations laws & policies. Of the utmost importance to all of us here is keeping our citizens safe.
Lemme know if we can work out a deal. Thanks.

Truth being, Im as surprised by it as well. The nature of the attack seems to be the Coalitions unwillingness to accept that I wont allow them to fire weapons around the station - when I debated this point with them, they made threats, then eventually called in two destroyers, and opened fire.
Previously, on multiple occasions, infected Rheinland military has caused a total loss to our defense force, even virtually destroying Genine's gunship, which was only just recently rebuilt.
As for the Defense Force - It has always been my stand, that Freeport One is home to not just "Zoners" - while, according to the houses, those who choose to leave house space, and settle peacefully elsewhere, are called by the "zoner" label - the truth being, Freeport One is home to traveling spacers, independent tradesman, and the average hard working fellow. Our Defense Force comprises volunteers of folks who live here. We put what ships we can in the air, and we do our best to make our home safe.
All vessels as part of the defense force are tagged with [FP1] identifiers, and operate on strict Rules of Engagement in situations that require armed response. In a nutshell, it means we wont be using IMG technology for anything other then defending the safety and well-being of our station and its citizens.
Of that, I can assure you.

While we value our relations with our neighbours, do understand the position you put us in with this request. Your current stance is likely to see your freeport and it's perimiter to be attacked again. Wether by Coalition, Rheinland, Bretonia, the Corsairs... I cannot say. But some of those you have come into conflict with are parties we do not want as our enemies. We have the safety of Aland and Freistadt to consider, as well as our bases in Bretonia. The Guild is not an islet in space like the Freeport is...
We will still consider your request. But I am hesitant, personally, given how many conflicts have started with both parties claiming to be "defending" themselves. And in truth, when a dedicated effort is made against the freeport, I doubt even a thousand of our weapons would do you much good.

Greetings sir/ma'am,
I am currently seeking a medium-class gunboat/gunship for use as an LPI(guard) officer in protecting liberty from pirates and terrorists. My current ship, an old decaying navy gunboat, is slightly outdated and always was more of a problem than the pirates ever could be. Problems with the engines, problems with the weapons reactor, targeting systems failures, the list goes on.
I've worked off and on with the IMG back in my earlier years as a pilot, although my existence was probably never noticed. I always have been good at staying under the radar. That is until i joined the LPI. My current contract through LPI is being reviewed, and if cut, i will be returning to work with the IMG and this message can be void.
So my request is this: Use of one Hydra class gunship, ship only. If approved i will gladly spend two days per month helping the IMG, i.e freighter escort, miner protection, base protection, ect.
