Today we had some possible Libertonian Intruders in Bering.
So we alarm-started to secure the Bering Jumpgate in System Hamburg.

But as soon as the treat appeared on Long range Scanners, they disappeared.
So i continued my Patrol back to New-Berlin where i met Pilot Rofel.Koptah (//No, he was really serious to don't change his name)
Anyway we had no time to chat about his name. A RepEx ship told us about a rampaging Outcast Pilot in Frankfurt. Herr Koptah formed on my wing and we escorted the RepEx ship to Dresden.

After that, we continued Patrol through Frankfurt, to Helgoland Station, without facing the potential enemy. Instead of that i had a long discussion with a GMG Miner that told me about some Corsairs they met before.
Unfortunately they left long ago and we finished out patrol there.
Even if i wondered about Herr Koptahs name, it was good to have him with me out there.

Guten Tag
Today's patrol took place in Hamburg. After verifying on long range scanners that the rest of Rheinland was clear of hostiles I proceeded to set up a checkpoint at planet Hamburg to scan outbound traffic. After a long wait I came across a pilot, callsign Otto, carrying Diamonds towards Liberty. After ordering him to halt and explain himself, he claimed to be unaware of the embargo. Because of this I confiscated his cargo and let him off with a warning. Soon after I dealt with the first embargo violator another appeared. This one however stupidly tried to run. Then after seeing he couldn't escape, he opened fire on my vessel. After warning him what would happen if he didn't cut his engines I blew him out of the sky.
It seems these blockade runners will never learn.

Guten Tag. Today is a rather. Unusual day. I was to meet Herr Drum for patrol duty and when he didn't show up I knew there was something wrong or he got drunk in the bar again last night. I went to the bar he frequents the most. They said they hadn't seen him at all last night. I knew at that moment that Drum, once again, pulled one of his vanishing acts. I met up with Gefreiter Vollkegel and we headed out to the last known area he was sighted in.
A Daumann Patrol reported seeing him in the Omega 11 System moving among the asteroid fields. We probed the fields and found a multitude of gravitational anomalies. We were granted permission to choose one anomaly to check.
We entered the gravity well and got shot to some distant area. We emerged from the well into an Asteroid field. In the distance was a planet. It was decided that we would go check it out and look for signs of life or a wreck of Drum's ship at least. Upon arriving at the planet we tried to pick up one of data pods left on planet's surfaces after they are explored. We found that the planet had no pods with the planet's data. The planet had never been explored. Not far away was what seemed to be a ship. Thinking this might be the ship of Drum we went over to investigate. It turned out to be a Hessian Sabre. Not far away from that wreck we spotted another ship. We thought "Well, at least he took one out with him." We went over to that ship and found it had Corsair markings.
We turned around and headed back into the asteroid field. We headed back to the gravity well. Out of nowhere we picked up a huge signal somewhere in the distance. Gefreiter Vollkegel noted that she saw what appeared to be "An asteroid with weapons and....is that a docking port?" I instructed Vollkegel to head back to the jump hole. She complied and I went into the asteroid for a closer look. When I got two klicks away the automated weapons on the rock started to shoot at me. Flashes of purple blurred across my nose and I started to dodge for my life. I then noticed the docking ports on the rock. I punched my cruise to get out of there when I heard Vollkegel say "Look there is another one over here." I said to get back to the hole quick. I lost sensor range and communication range of Vollkegel. I went to the coordinates I marked on my map and saw her sitting there. "Jump, go quick." She aimed her nose into the well and got sucked into the vortex. I aimed my nose and punched it full throttle into the hole.
The radioactive area symbol flashed on our panels. We were back in Omega 11 from what ever desolate place we were just in. We headed as fast as we could back to the Stuttgart Gate. On the other side of the gate was the Schwanstein. We were hailed and asked to identify ourselves. We did and we were told to report to Planet Baden Baden for "decontamination" from the radiation.
We landed and headed straight for the medical facilities. Nothing like a freezing cold shower to get the radiation away. Upon returning to the landing pad I saw a man in a black jumpsuit, goggles and a helmet doing something with my ship. I reported it to Schwanstein Control who contacted the Docking Ring Control and shut it down. A bomb squad came and looked at the ship. I went to the nearest airbase and picked up another Wraith.
Quite the interesting day. I have signed off duty for today on Strausberg. Hope we find Drum in one piece.

What a busy Tag. First it really looked like to become a wonderfull quiet day. But it did not. But let me explain.
I started patroling as usual. New-Berlin, Stuttgart, Omega-7.
On my way back to Stuttgart i saw a Unioner pirating a Kruger Vessel.

He just picked up a Unioner Pilot from the Kruger Vessel and left after i arrived.
I did not chase him, because i did not want the Kruger Vessel to be involved.
Then i went back to New Berlin. When i Arrived at Station Dortmund, the RNC-Aachen told me about a Liberty-Navy Gunboat, heading to my position.
The Stations opened fire as it arrived and i tried several times to contact the Ship. unfortunately he did not answer. So i had no other opinion left but engaging him, with the help of RNC-Aachen. He died quickly and could continue my Patrol to Hamburg.

Guten Tag.
Today started off with me being shaken out of bed and taken to the briefing room. Once there I was informed that a unidentified gunboat class vessel attacked two traders near the Stuttgart Gate. They brought up a bomber from the hanger and threw me in.
Upon leaving the base I was told that the target in question had vanished. Then there was another report of a gunboat class vessel in Hamburg. I turned the bomber around and headed to the gate. Upon jumping through I received word that this "gunboat" was at Alster Shipyard. I proceeded there and there was what seemed to be a Liberty Gunboat and Flieger Wolfen was "fighting" it. After it seemed like it took a lot of damage it seemed to just vanish.
I speculate that it is not some "cloaking" technology but rather that there was some drone nearby that was projecting the image of said gunboat. Then out of no where two what seemed to be Corsair fighters came. Because Herr Wolfen and I were in bombers we could not stop them.
I proceeded back to the Strausberg to retrieve my Wraith. Then one of the Valkyries contacted me. "Hey, I got the Corsairs stopped here. Get to New Berlin." I headed back to Dortmund with my Wraith and a Civilian also pointed out the Corsairs. I jumped into the lane, closing it behind me, and headed to the location specified.
There were the Corsairs. One had a Gladiator and the other a Titan class Vessel. As soon as I arrived the Gladiator turned and wouldn't let me leave its sight. The Titan focused on the Valkyrie. Soon the Corsairs engaged us. We decided that he would take the Titan and I would take the Gladiator. They started shooting mines out like no tomorrow in attempts to take our shields out. I managed to take the Gladiator's shield out just as he dropped and detonated a mine. It ripped through his ship and blew it to pieces.
I then played decoy for the Titan who lined up to shoot me. The Valkyrie took the chance and took the shield off and shot a Mini Razor up its tailpipe. It started to fall apart before it eventually exploded.
I returned back to the Strausberg for minor repairs from all of the mines.

I took off from Ulm Border station, and proceeded to do an entire lap around the trade lanes of Stuttgart. I encountered nothing but normal traffic, not so much as a trade lane disruption. The patrol went smooth, and I finished in record time.

Once I completed my patrol of Stuttgart I decided to move into Omega 7. I entered, and all was calm. I flew through each trade lane once, then began a search of the mineral fields. I encountered a group of Kruger miners and their transport ship. While interviewing them, and the transport, I got a strange reading on my monitors. One I have yet to see, a ship tagged as SCRA. The traders noticed it too, and became slightly confused. The mystery ship slipped away as fast as it appeared. I knew this could be trouble, after I begged my pardons to the miners I charged my cruise and began another sweep of the area. It didn't take long to locate the thing again. It was a ship, with glowing red eyes, a demon would be the best and only way I could describe it. It was armed and armored with some very advanced technology. Boasting a powerful 14k base hall, and enough weapons to devastate a small moon, I knew I would be in for a fight.

Once it was clear he would not back down, I had no choice but to defeat him. I gave a prayer to the Gottkanzler for his blessing in this fight, and that my aim would be true. While my Wraith clearly had a better turn radius, that SCRA ship put out a devastating amount of fire, and my weapons had little effect on it's hall once it's shields went down. It was a game of nickel and dimes, and in the end the Gottkanlzer proved stronger. After nearly 30 minutes of combat, with the enemy low on bots and bats he abandoned his mission and left the system, while insulting me.
Recommendations for future encounters:
I would warn pilots that out turning this monster is the only way to beat it, any direct frontal assault will result in your ship being turned to scrap. Bring a pilot equipped with a MiniRazer, as it's power will aid you greatly.

Once the threat was removed from the system I returned to New Berlin to dock and repair my damages.

Guten Tag
Another day on blockade duty. Once again minutes after I set up a checkpoint at planet Hamburg I caught a smuggler on scans. This ones callsign was SSBob. After ordering him to cut his engines for a cargo scan he immediately engaged his cruise drive in an attempt to flee. I gave him one final warning before I opened fire. After taking the smugglers shields down I once again ordered him to halt. When he again refused to stop I blew him out of the sky. As soon as I finished destroying the contraband the smuggler was carrying I again set up my checkpoint at planet Hamburg.
Before my shift was over I was able to catch two more blockade runners. These pilots however complied with my orders and claimed to unaware of the embargo so I let them off with a warning.

Meine Herren,
Today i was focused on trading vessels around Planet New-Berlin, The-Ring und Oder-Shipyard.
As nothing unusual happened an Outcast Falcata came around.
I had a little talk with him, as he won't cut his engine and i had to waste 3 CDs on him.
He told me, he was on his way to Hudson. I knew he lied. He was very unfriendly when following my order to stop, also he was heading to Brandenburg Border Station.
Another Flieger arrived. Flieger Stefan Heinrich, who formed up on me.
I guess the Outcast became scared. However, he followed my orders and started to head to hudson. With a lovely Wraith Escort, of course.

Unfortunately Herr Heinrich had to take a break at the Hamburg Jumpgate. //Disconnect
Herr Alvarado, the Outcast ship, kept the ordered range to every Rheinland installation and caused no trouble. I stopped following him at the Hudson Jumpgate.

Texas Recon
Under the orders of Admiral Malexa Malte I took command of a recon wing code named "Gruen 1". Our orders were as follows: Scan defenses and strategic points in the Texas system. My recon wing entered via the Jump Hole located in Hudson and we entered Texas hidden in a scrap field. We proceeded to the Texas - Hudson Gate and the Texas - Bering Gate. Both are currently undefended. My wing then proceeded to Planet Brazors and we discovered the Prison Ship LPI Sugarland. We proceeded to scan the Prison and downloaded some information. We then proceed to Planet Houston and located the Battleship Mississippi and the Prison Ship LPI Hunstville. I then scanned the Hunstville and proceeded to resume the mission. We then proceeded to find jump holes to Minnesota, Virginia and a back door into New York itself. I was about to get a close-up of the Texas - New York Gate but my recon wing was compromised and we had to return to base.
