RE: Fair warning - ASimpleMan - 09-02-2016

Why can't we all just be friends?

RE: Fair warning - nOmnomnOm - 09-02-2016

[2:18:19 PM] Hannibal: you can do that on a private server while inviting other players, not on the main server
[2:20:37 PM] Justin Hopkins: Can we just stop and think for a minute how mindblowingly insulting what you just said was?

please enlighten us as to how insulting this is?

the thing just triggered the main server. The admins dont want it to be triggered. Common, guys

Probably not. If a group of tenured professors (aka, grown ass men that have to work with each other daily) can't have monthly meetings without ripping each other throats out, I doubt a bunch of dudes online can. The question should be, "Why can't we all respect each other('s opinion)?"

I see nothing wrong here. To check effects one rather changes the effect files than entries in the .ini (isn't it so?).
In this case the best solution would have been a polite conversation to explain what happened.
I see no admin fault nor unfairness towards treating developers as regular players.

RE: Fair warning - GuapMan - 09-02-2016

I honestly think this place is turning into a hell hole, I reckon we should have a vote on the Admin team about having new admins in the team or something.
But then again, They wouldn't listen because they are ''Higher'' than us.

It's quite clear most of you don't really care about what players have to say nor what they think.

I can enlighten you how this shows a mind-blowing amount of incompetence if needed.

You are absolutely right that a live server is off limits for private testings.

The admin fault was the long delay between clearing the issue up and removing the tempban, plus Danny's name still made it into the sanction thread despite resolving the situation hours prior, but it's all written down on previous pages. Don't think Admins didn't screw up here. Both sides did. And keep doing so as long as they don't repair their relations, settle their differences, and get on better terms with eachother. This place needs a staff where the branches cooperate and it's the responsibility of both sides in this conflict to realize the necessity of it and take appropriate action.

This 'no u' attitude is disgusting. Just work together. Can't be so hard. Looks like some girls are fighting here....

RE: Fair warning - Qur'chak - 09-02-2016

This thread and the OP are ridiculous. I think some devs here have overgrown egos and make problems because of that - something I've never noticed in any other gaming community.

RE: Fair warning - Thyrzul - 09-02-2016

Why hiding behind an alt with those words, hm? Afraid of people connecting your opinion with your person?
