Anyways:Could I just get quick head's up as to weather or not this is up-to-date for 4.86? Not really a Gravedig since it's pinned;) Yes, they are both still approved, and should still be compatible. However, Adoxa's website is down, so you will need to acquire a copy of Hudshift from another player who already has it (like me, for instance, or ask your friends, or the Discovery Skype Help Channel). Oh, by the way, the Realistic Lighting mod is installed by FLMM. In order to install the mod properly that way, you'll need to point FLMM at your Discovery 4.86 installation. If you want to install it manually... well, I was experimenting with that but never got around to finishing. All I have to say here is make sure you backup any files that you're going to change before you start fiddling, and remember to test it in Single Player / LAN before getting on the server. I think I remember him saying it was only temporary until he finds a new host (his old one was messing him around or somesuch), but I could be wrong. Approved graphics mods - BOB - 03-04-2012 Thank you both. I found HudShift from the new websight and will get to it installing it now. Edit: Everything up and running perfectly in this regard now, thanks again. Approved graphics mods - Jimothy - 03-07-2012 ' Wrote:Oh, by the way, the Realistic Lighting mod is installed by FLMM. Approved graphics mods - Trogdor - 03-14-2012 Wasn't rotating planets part of Disco back in the day? What happened to that? Approved graphics mods - Jimothy - 03-25-2012 Indeed, any ideas for links to spinning planet mods for checking for approval? ' Wrote:Indeed, any ideas for links to spinning planet mods for checking for approval?I've had spinning planets ever since I installed my copy of 4.86. How did I do that? I paid attention when I was installing 4.86 and I looked at every option, then I checked the option for spinning planets. You guys can have spinning planets, too, but you'll have to reinstall 4.86 to be able to check the option. Approved graphics mods - Jimothy - 03-26-2012 Um... 4.86's custom installer only has one option, to bloom or not to bloom. (If memory serves) 4.85 and previous, that used FLMM, now they did have options like that... |
