Command,

At 2230 hours, we've received orders from S-NGD to prepare the Haruna and depart for Kepler, due to high activity from the Liberty Navy. Arriving at 2250 hours, long range scanners picked up two Liberty Navy battleships and a myriad of smaller craft. They were grouped around one of the anomalies in Kepler.

After establishing contact, we demanded that they provide information about their activity in the system, to which they complied. Data relayed from them presents that the Navy has sent these battleships to research or "harvest" materials from the anomaly.

We hailed them once more at 2310, this time demanding them to leave for Ames or further down to the Liberty border whilst calling in reinforcements. This was refused by them, as they stated that they are only researching the anomaly, however they departed shortly after as their attempts at gathering anomaly information failed.

Lastly, it is of note that in the vicinity of the anomaly, a Nomad warform was present, however it made no contact and maintainted a safe distance.

Today I report in with an unusual matter.
At first sight, there was nothing out of order with the Crayterian transport me and a KOI agent encountered in the Honshu system, however upon closer inspection the vessel was flashing transponder codes we have only seen on vessels belonging to the notorious terror organization, the Order.
The Captain in question attempted to describe the whole matter as an accident he was not aware of. This is dubious, to say at least. We let them off the hook and trailed behind them. They moored at Roppongi to adjust their transponder codes, far, far too swiftly in my eyes.
There is something oddly suspicious going on either with this exact vessel or Crayterians in general. We might let them traverse Kusari space once again, but we should be wary in my honest opinion.

At 1940 hours we departed Shikoku, bound for Galileo due to reports of unusual activity in the region. At 2016 hours, scanners picked up two contacts; an AI vessel and a larger, Gallic battlecruiser, that were stationary.

Upon initiating contact, we were answered vaguely by a certain "Commodore de Lorraine". Detailed scans, several moments after, revealed the warship carried Nomad armament and materials.

At 2020 hours, combat was initiated. One of our escorts was destoyed, however the pilot rescued by nearby units. Gallic contact was subsequently destroyed, after attempting to escape via Colorado, at 2025 hours.

Hail,

At 1800 hours, we received orders from Battleship Sado to depart for the Arch, with a directive to reinforce patrols to and from the installation.

Approximately 15 minutes afterwards, a small Blood Dragon contingent, consisting of 2 bombers and a battleship, appeared from the Nampo Cloud. The crew was promptly sent to battlestations and prepare for looming battle.

Unfortunately, due to our position, only small craft were able to assist us, coming directly from Battleship Sado. Despite being outnumbered, we managed to inflict critical damage to all of the Blood Dragon ships, whilst, in turn, taking significant damage to the engine section of our cruiser.

We departed Honshu at 1730 hours and headed to Sigma-13, after receiving reports of a large-scale incursion from the Rheinland Military. Upon arrival, we discovered only 2 Rheinland vessels, a Military snubcraft, callsign Romeo Two, accompanied by a Kruger frigate, callsign KTS Jager. There were also 2 GMG ships, a fighter flown by the GMG pilot Rebecca Harper and a gunboat, callsign Kani Maru.

During this incident, IKN Haruna maintained a distance of 4 clicks from the battle, until all contacts were confirmed as disabled and/or routed. While unclear thus far what the real goal the operation was, information gathered after the conclusion of the skirmish hints to a possible attempt by Kruger to once more cause damage to the GMG installations within Sigma-13, aided by overzealous pilots of the Rheinland Military.

Scans, alongside the data shared to us on-the-spot by GMG operatives, have shown that the Kruger ship carried nuclear devices and a number of other armaments; all data from the scans can be directly corroborated with the discussions between GMG operatives and IKN Haruna at the moment of the incident, leading to the assumption that the rumours regarding a Kruger attack are correct.

We are currently stationed in the vicinity of the Sigma-13 Jump Gate, within Honshu, and have dispatched our fighter wings nearby and in the adjacent system for patrols. In the case of other incursions, and should the Guild require heavy warship support, we will aid them.

I will be expecting further orders on how to proceed. All the evidence of this incident is attached below. Long live the Emperor!

Following a spike in captures of various mid- to high-profile criminals and an unusual high amount of traitorous elements detected within State authorities or Keiretsu elements, special prisoner transfers are now to be handled by Naval Forces units to bolster State Police capacities.
Prisoners will be picked up from Fukuoka Border Station, then transported by the 'Kakunodate', a vessel specifically tailored for this task, to Fuchu Prison.

All Naval Forces units are obligated to heed this vessels call for aid, unless they are pre-occupied in combat scenarios. All vessels pilots refusing aid will be put under strict surveillance and can talk about luck if they not to end up on the 'Kakunodate' as special guests. Fines and other less strict punishments may occur.

In order to provide an example of a smooth operation, one such transfer including 281 prisoners was conducted today purely by Tokubetsu-keibi-tai forces.
Among the 281 transferred prisoners were:
  • 36 subjects found guilty of treason.
  • 87 subjects of Outcast origin.
  • 7 subjects of Gallic origin found guilty of espionage.
  • 1 subject found guilty of high-treason.
  • 60 subjects found guilty of sabotage acts against the Keiretsu.
  • 90 subjects of Blood Dragon origin.

Unfortunately, no candidate performed as desired. I was temporarily put in charge following a shift in peace time doctrines among other parts of the Naval Forces command chain.

Wakkanai's medical team informed me about your potential return to active duty. High command was always satisfied with your performance, so you are to return to the Sixty-Sixth. Additionally, you are hereby offered to serve as acting CO once more.

During your absence, a multitude of later on abandoned operations were called to life. Some of them were later on transferred to the Naval Intelligence wings instead. You will find the sole currently active operation attached below.

We became witness of an independent slaver stopped by a Kusari State Police officer, in direct proximity to Roppongi today. The vessel under the callsign William.Dampier, upon thorough pressure applied by having the Akagi's cannons aimed at their cockpit, admitted to work under contract for the Outcasts. Approximately 2.500 people were stuffed into their transport of borderworld origin, an absolute disgraceful sight.

Following their pledge to be guilty of assisting the Outcasts directly, they attempted to flee. The vessel was disposed of swiftly, although with utmost care to spare the captives lives. Unfortunately, the Slaver escaped in a pod as we put utmost priority on rescuing the civilians. 2416 people were temporarily transferred to Roppongi station and from there on to various medical institutions on New Tokyo. Out of these people, around 250 are still at the risk of losing their lives. Approximately 56 individuals did not survive the disabling of the vessel.

The vast majority of these civilians appears to be of Libertorian origin and shall be transferred back to their home systems once their conditions permit it.
In regards to the escaped slaver, I encourage and hope for a swift listing of the individual as wanted within Kusari space for acts of slavery and assisting outlawed organizations on the Imperial contract board as soon as possible. Additionally, it should be noted that the Freelancer Garmr assisted the State Police vessel to stop the slaver and was rewarded by us accordingly.
