RE: Liberty Navy [LN] - Karlotta - 06-30-2018 (06-30-2018, 01:17 PM)Franz Oberhauser Wrote: @SnakThree i know of that. However CR transports have Military IFF since the IFF split of CR happened (which i never supported) and no one bat an eye for 2 years, yet suddenly everyone losing their minds since last week. We are pretty much use the Military IFF because of rules and now we are getting squashed by both rules, players and RP. I hope you understand our situation. In this context, regarding the fact that crayter has been using the Crayter Military iff for more than a year and no one ever got kicked out if liberty for it, be it indy or =CR= (the crayter restart gives Crayter Military IFF to both), it may be relevant to mention a few "details" of what happened: -The first two times a CR transport was kicked out of liberty (and also fined, which is against what is stated in the laws even IF Crayter was considered a non allied military) it was my transport. -It happened shortly after I posted my transports name in the roll call. The same transport had gone through liberty multiple times without problems jsut like other =CR= transports, before I made it know that it belonged to me in the roll call. -Between the first and the second time my transport was kicked out, two other CR transports went through liberty without problems. The third time a CR transport was kicked out, it was right after me, which makes it appear as if someone (I dont know who) had recently told every liberty lawful that CR are to be kicked out. -One of the ships who intercepted me (the second one) has too little online time to even appear in the player activity list, but was still right on time to "catch" me the only time I entered liberty after the first time I got kicked out (and there had been two diplomatic attempts to resolve this which were left unanswered for days). -The second ship fined me the exact same amount as the first, although no fines or amount of fines is mentioned in liberty laws. So yeah, I won't say that this doesn't smells very, very, very oorp motivated to me. RE: Liberty Navy [LN] - SnakThree - 06-30-2018 While I am not in [LN] and I represent LibGov a bit and from what I hear in our chat, [LN] players had nothing to do with this. so as I said in LibGov chat: [17:42] SnakThree: Or is Karlotta just using the thread to piss against the wind? RE: Liberty Navy [LN] - Karlotta - 06-30-2018 I think Thyt posted here because there is no Libgov feedback. No, [LN] has nothing to do with it as far as I know, but in the past they were the most vocal in liberty diplomacy. But sure, call it me pissing against the wind if you want. I know many people will approve of it RE: Liberty Navy [LN] - Shiki - 06-30-2018 (06-30-2018, 12:23 PM)TheShooter36 Wrote: We did not blockade Cortez in an event. Even if we would do, it would be beneficial to Liberty. The whole "annexing Cortez" is a wording error. There was an event where CR blocked California gates in Cortez and actually fought Liberty. It laster one evening and there was one fight. I assume that's because LN and LSF did too well and CR lead did not see the point of keeping that up. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I see nothing in the rules that says you can't use a different IFF with your ID - only that you must stick with one for the officialdom request process, but not that you can't change thereafter. Otherwise, it'd actually be good if this could change. The split IFFs (afaik) was added in unexpectedly, with the rules/players not able to react pre-emptively. Are split IFFs a good idea? Depends. I personally don't believe that CR or Coalition need them, but HF did since Commonwealth and HF are two very different concepts. RE: Liberty Navy [LN] - Karlotta - 06-30-2018 Just to remove any misunderstandings... I posted here because something that directly concerns me was said here. The two ship that stopped me were not [LN]. I won't say their names because people will shout "trial by forum", but looking at roll call threads, the identities of the owners strengthens the impression of oorp motivations for stopping me. Some 10 year ago event perhaps? because we never fought against liberty since last 4 year from my count. I believe you confuse it with where liberty and CR fought together against valorspam in California. Unless it's in green and on the forums, you can't always be sure.
