You should dissolve into the LPI.

All kidding aside, the LN has indeed come a long way from what it used to be. Good work.

Joe,

The LN/RM Saturday events have been great fun. Your guys/gals always show up on time and in good numbers. Keep up the excellent work.

Sass

' Wrote:main problems I see with Liberty factions is coordination in battles when leaders or very high ranked officiers are away. some members in all factions with the appropriate ranks should not hesitate to give orders (in a respect--respect relation) to others if noone does it already.

Also, when there is one group split between two fights, the chat always get way too cacophonous. Groups should split if they are not fighting together, helps for battle coordination, otherwise, you mostly miss orders

I agree. I've seen how confused things seem to get from both within the group and also from outside while flying my xeno.

I think perhaps drawing up a few combat protocals between the liberty factions would be a sensible idea.
I am also considering copying the BAF and RM by changing the naming convention to add a rank into the name. This would help reduce the "What rank are you?" questions and maintain a bit of order in fights like that.

Cheers for your comments Zach and Sass. Much appreciated.

We have a rank / player list in Order, I guess you can apply it to your faction as well. It works fine so far and really helped with who is who problems in the last month after we started using it.

I see the same "who s to order or approve" thing within LN - Order dialogues as well when we have the nommie attack things going on.

In most Militaries they use O# as a shorter version of ranks, O for Officer, the # for his rank... For example in the US Navy its O11 for a Fleet Admiral - And O1 for an Ensign.

Just a thought, Joe.

I totally know Jake will have a fit since Lt.Cmdr wont fit in with William Darkmoor....

Problem with that, is that it's not very pleasing to the eye.

Well, at least, my eyes.:P

[LN]-O9-Valence.Harper ?

Naw.

Sometimes, Vince, I think that you and I are the only ones with any sense of style:P

The LR have some kind of google spreadsheet thing, perhaps we could make one?

Liberty Navy [LN] - VincentFerrex - 05-23-2009

Perhaps, Jake, but I have no idea how to make one, so, good luck with that.:P

*goes back to making a Valence Harper signature*

Google it up, or ask Nighthawk, she made our sheet. Click on the greyhound in ma sig to see it.

Thing is that it can be updated daily.

Dang. Guess I'll just have to demote him now. What a pity.:P

You do actualy raise a good point though. I have seen a few folks in the BAF with abbreviated names, and I never much liked the look of it.

The names do have to look right however and the O# idea, while accurate doesn't looks that awesome.

I'll see what I can come up with.

Also, a roster spreadsheet is an -awesome- idea.
