RE: Canaria Medical Center - Doc Holliday - 04-30-2013 Before Doreen left, he spoke to Jack in her presence. "Mr. White, it seems your "friend" from Liberty won't be showing. I figured by now he would have. Anyway, by day's end you will be transferred to Med.Force.One where you will be meeting with my cybernetics department. You should be strong enough to be on your feet at this point. Still, don't push yourself. You will be dealing with Dr. Hans Richter once you're settled in up there." RE: Canaria Medical Center - AlphaWolf215 - 04-30-2013 King entered through the main doors, taking a look back at the guardian sitting on the landing pad. Damn he hoped that the Security Force wont be getting in trouble for him enforcing this far out, but he was doing as trained... He proceeded to walk up to the checking in desk, dropping a pistol and a knife on the desk he promptly said to the woman King: I'm Liberty Security Force Agent King. I am looking for a Jack White. Doc should be expecting my arrival. Secretary: Ah yes, Agent King. Please go through to the Waiting room. I will notify Doc *peers at the screen for a second, King thinking she looks strangely like the guard watching over him in the waiting room of Shasta... She looks up with a smile* Your late Agent... King: Thank you Miss, Make sure he knows. I am impatient enough as it is... He enters the waiting room, looking round at the patients surrounding him. He saw enough of this daily, he didn't need this... No. He had to stay calm and in control. He planned to leave with Jack, in a body bag or cuffed. As much as he tried to deny it, he did care for what may happen to the Zoners if they took this madman with them... THEY hadn't seen the file on Jack... and he intended to keep it that way, but patting the chip in his belt, he knew it would stay there as a failsafe, just in case. Doc was going to be a tough character though, he dealt with the things in these images daily, he really would have to push deep for this... He proceeded to a corner of the room, keeping his head low, some of the shady looks he got made him think that some in here may have received the treatment he gave criminals. But no, he was in control here, this was HIS prisoner, HIS mission after all... he just didn't know how wrong he was yet... RE: Canaria Medical Center - Doc Holliday - 04-30-2013 The Agent was let in the room by Dr. Naggers herself. Doc was standing next to Jack, going over his file and discussing what to expect once transferred. Seeing the Agent walk in, he stopped. "Agent King I presume," he said. "I am Dr. Holliday." He motioned to Doreen behind him, "And this is Dr. Doreen Naggers, chief resident of this facility. I've been expecting you." RE: Canaria Medical Center - Blackstarr - 04-30-2013 A moment after Doc mentioned his 'Friend' from Liberty Jack heard the doors whirr open. It was King. Jack sighed. "As if my day could get any worse...." Jack just decided to look at the ceiling and pretend that King wasn't there. He really did not want to go back to He doubted that even as a freed Zoner Liberty officials wouldn't let him past the border checkpoint. He would have to travel elsewhere it seems.. RE: Canaria Medical Center - AlphaWolf215 - 05-02-2013 King was lead into the room. He grabbed Doc's hand and shook it firmly. He was still sure he would be in charge here. He stepped back I am sure you have been Doctor Holiday *nodding at Naggers* Afternoon Doc. I must thank you both, for taking care of my prisoner for me. This way, he will survive to see a full trial. It's not often I get to sit one of those. Spices up my life, y'know? Doc. You do realise I'm not going to just let him go right? You didn't think I'd make it that easy did you? RE: Canaria Medical Center - Doreen - 05-03-2013 She knew a pushy person when she saw one and knew that these legal types were just that, pushy. But she was chief resident and not going to be bossed in her own place. It was often she got upset with someone. "Mr. King, I am in charge of this facility," she retorted. RE: Canaria Medical Center - Doc Holliday - 05-03-2013 Doc cut her off, respectfully so to his prized student. "I know you administrate the center now but...." He gave her a pat on the shoulder of re-assurance, "I'll handle this. He came looking for me in Baffin and you did release him to me. Besides, you're leaving for Hamburg for some family time if I'm not mistaken." He then turned to Kind, putting himself between White and Kind while being able to keep a watch on a very upset Dr. Naggers, "No, I didn't say you were going to just let him go but he did serve his time and was on parole...." He then gave White a look of disgust, "and unwisely ran." Doc then folded his arms, "But can you blame him? He wants to change, at least, he says he does and right now I have no reason to doubt it. But it is hard to do when you're in a place where all you have ever known is trouble and no one will let you go somewhere else to change." "I've seen the dossier you sent," he continued. "Has he done bad things? Yes. Has he killed? Yes. Has he served his time? He has. Was running a good idea? No. Mr. King, I get the impression that you don't feel he can change at all. Like we all haven't done bad things? I've killed more men then I care to admit but that's a life time ago." "We're reasonable people here and think we can work out something that's mutually beneficial." RE: Canaria Medical Center - Blackstarr - 05-04-2013 During the time that King and Dr. Holliday were arguing, Jack started to feel woozy. Without them noticing he started to faint again. This time in his dream he was standing in a large circular chamber. The roof was a large glass dome that he could see the vast expanse of space through. The dome was largely populated with trees, and it had a river flowing through it. Jack turned and followed the river with his eyes, watching it flow into a drain at the side of the dome. He decided to follow it the other way to the source. Once he got there he found a giant statue/Fountain of a Golden Apple. Eris materialized on top of it. "There you are! I have been waiting for hours..." She crossed her arms and hmmphed. "Why were you waiting for me?" He asked, confused. "All of my followers that can see me are busy, and Im bored...." She giggled. "I am not your follower...." Jack replied defiantly. "Oh but you are...." She hopped down and pressed her finger to his forehead. "I know that you are... Your Pineal Gland is pulsing. I know you have already made your choice." "King will never let me stay here. He will let the doctor treat me, then bide his time until Doc lets me into the wild and set a trap for me. He will never leave me alone..." "If you truly follow me I will protect you. King wont leave here with you tonight, and he will never harm you and capture you once you are released." "That is hard for me to believe, however a lot of the things happening to me lately have been hard to believe. So I am inclined to believe you." She cocked her head "You talk in circles... I like you. I have to go now however..." With a pop she vanished leaving Jack to wander the lush dome on his own. RE: Canaria Medical Center - AlphaWolf215 - 05-07-2013 King raised an eyebrow at Naggers retort, detecting the barely audible hint of a Rheinlandic accent... King: Naggers, your a Rheinlander eh Doc? Well forgive me, but i will be a little untrusting of you then... i think we can thank the current state of affairs for that, not to mention my job is to not trust people... King crosses his arms and listens to what Doc Holiday has to say. He nods slowly before replying King: Well Doc, we arent all proud of our whole lives no, but theres wanting to start a new life, and blowing your arm off to run back to the Xenos... all White had to do was wear the tag for a few months to see a good reintegration with the community, then he would be released to live his own life, without us watching over him. He ran from us. He illegaly obtained a firearm and broke the rules of the probation. He got himself into his trouble, but go on Doc, amuse me. Tell me your ideas that we "might" agree on... I'd love to hear them... RE: Canaria Medical Center - Doreen - 05-07-2013 Quote:Naggers, your a Rheinlander eh Doc? Doreen rolled her eyes and looked skyward before giving King a "my God" sort of look. "So what of it, Agent King?" she asked. "I took the Zoner life before your little war with Liberty. It's your war, not mine." She then got sarcastic, "But I guess you wouldn't understand that now would you? That's not what you're paid for." Frustrated, she turned to leave, looking to Doc over her shoulder through her red hair, "Doc, I really don't need to be demeaned by people like him. I'll finish getting my things ready." With that, she left the room. |
