SF Message Dump - Badger - 10-18-2006 Transmit To: All SF Personnel Comm ID: Badger The independent Corsair pilots Jester, Dorm_Creep and Chupathingy today crossed the line and swore themselves as enemies of Bretonia by wrecklessly opening fire without warning on an un-manned SF gunboat. Should any of these parasites pass into your crosshairs you have my full permission to exercise that itchy trigger finger. SF Message Dump - Firebird - 10-18-2006 Transmit To: All SF Personnel Comm ID: Admiral Firebird Two of the pilots in question belong to the Marauders (their name changes pending), their actions are not unexpected given their faction's goals. Faction alignment in the faction status post adjusted accordingly. End Transmission SF Message Dump - Firebird - 10-20-2006 Transmit To: Broadband Comm ID: GNN Broadcast Report from the Kusari Front Line A segment of Battlegroup Stormpike engaged Kusari Battlegroups in Tau-31 today. Assisting the BAF, Commodore Badger along with SFGB-Relentless and SFCR-Ovidius inflicted heavy losses to the Kusari front line. Prisonners captured in today's attacks were quickly transported back to Leeds for placement in POW camps. The fighting still continues to rage on in Tau-31 as battlegroups from the BAF and the KNF continue to clash. End Transmission SF Message Dump - Hyperwave22 - 10-21-2006 Message to: All SF Personell Comm ID: Trader Hyperwave The maurauders have attacked once again. They destroyed my ship and all of its cargo within a pass. Two RH bombers on my CT, and I didn't stand a chance. I was able to escape them later, allowing one more safe run. transmission ends... SF Message Dump - Badger - 10-21-2006 Transmit To: All SF Personnel Comm ID: Badger On a long range mission, myself (in Templar) and two patrolling Bs| fighters: namely Archaon and DBoy, travelled to Omicron Gamma in search of one of the Marauders. Upon arrival in the system I was engaged by several Corsair VHF's but shrugged them off and made way to the Corsair planets. After a couple of minutes of surveillance we determined the Marauder was not docked on the planet and it had become dangerous for me to stay any longer as roughly 12 Corsair Titans swooped in to defend their home. So we journeyed further to Tripoli shipyard, the old Bounty Hunter base now claimed by the relentless Corsair forces. Again, Titan patrols engaged me (the Bs| using their reputation to stay on the Corsair's good side) as we staked out the shipyard. Bingo, the Marauder pilot Jester undocked to check all the comotion so we wasted no more time and engaged. The battle around Tripoli was furious, Bs|Archaon falling as an early casualty when being caught in the firepower of the Marauder pilot's Rhineland Bomber. This left Bs|DBoy and I versus [Marauder]Jester and his 8 or so allied Corsair Titans. Using what little cover I could muster from the surrounding debris against the less skillful aim of the Titans, I met the Bomber on roughly even terms, trading blows for several minutes. Eventually the turning circle of the Bomber let Jester down as I managed to catch his tail while he turned to fire on DBoy. Despite Jester's evasive maneuvers DBoy and I finally cut through what remained of the Bomber's hull and salvaged the spoils before returning back to neutral territory in Theta. SF Message Dump - Badger - 10-22-2006 Transmit To: All SF Personnel Comm ID: Badger The Free Radicals [FR] flagship "Liberator" was today banished from Bretonian space after a series of pitched battles. My own gunboat escorted by [SF]-SFDS-Garden_Party dealt the Liberator the defeating blows, after a gruelling firefight several K beyond Cambridge Research Station. However, the Liberator quickly redoubled it's efforts and engaged the SF forces another time, this time heavily damaging my gunboat before becoming incapacitated. The Destroyer, Garden Party quickly finished the rest of Liberator's hull almost as soon as my gunboat had ceased to function. In a final effort, the Liberator rather insanely declared war on all nearby vessels and was fully slain, taking down a patrolling BAF Battleship as it went. SF forces captured the captain of the Liberator and packed him onto an Exiled Prisoner Liner where he was believed to be jettisoned into the battlefield between KNF and BAF forces, somewhere in Tau. SF Message Dump - Firebird - 10-22-2006 Transmit To: All SF Personnel Comm ID: Firebird K, I'll repeat this here and I want this reiterated to everyone in the fleet. Your SF tagged vessels must be lawful class vessels at the very least. Bretonian or Liberty vessels would be prefered. An SF tagged Outcast, Corsair, Nomad, etc. vessel is unacceptable. I thought this was clearly stated in the faction status post but I'm going to add in the bit about "Bretonian or Liberty vessels would be prefered." If you're flying a ship that's inappropriate please correct the situation ASAP. If you're unsure PM me. Transmission Ends Added: Yeesh, that came out harsher than I wanted but meh you get the idea. SF Message Dump - Badger - 10-26-2006 Transmit To: All SF Personnel Comm ID: Badger The Seeking of Catch 23 Little is understood of the Erisian Liberation Front and their motives, but one thing is clear: that they waive respect of Bretonian law. Tonight, an ELF vessel held innocent pilots captive in a ploy to draw our beloved Cambridge into Chaos. However, the vessel soon found itself overwhelmed by the show of force from law enforcement, brought together through contempt of ELF's actions. Present in the system to defend Bretonia were the [SF] Battleship Sierra, accompanied by my own Gunboat as usual. Also on hand were two fighters from the [IND] Escort Wing, the sso| flagship Hand of Payne and fighter escort, Admiral of the Bs| DBoy (sso| and Bs| hostilities were set aside) and also a [Mandalore] Bounty Hunter looking for some action. The ELF vessel had truly stepped out of it's depth and so had decided to hide-out amongst the vast vacuum that is our home. The hunt spread out across all of Cambridge, searching every exit point known on our Navigation systems, leaving almost no rock unturned. The ELF vessel Catch 23 had no intentions of giving it's position away though, eventually buying so much time that the search patrols had to return. Bs| and [Mandalore] forces left the system to continue their own work along with Battleship Sierra returning to dock as it seemed ELF would not rear it's head on this occassion. How wrong are assumptions were though, as the Catch 23 set sail for our home planet! It must've been hidden in deep space somewhere... Meanwhile a Helghast Gunboat tried to use the distraction to wreak some havoc of it's own. I happened to spot the Gunboat on entry of Cambridge, and moved to engage in what would become a vicious showdown 20k from the Omega 5 jumphole. The slugging match rolled on for tens of minutes deep in the ice fields, my only advantages being the home territory and good fortune to have packed nanobots and shield batteries beforehand, they were necessary after the preliminary assault by the Helghast gunboat, catching mine in the back with a furious battery of turret fire. Perseverance paid off in the end, the Helghast finally falling to a lack of repair supplies leaving my Gunboat bruised but functional. All the while, Catch 23 had made it's approach on our planet. Quick reacting [IND] Escort Patrick Boone flew against the Cruiser bravely, but could not dent its gargantuan shields. Boone fearlessly battled on but could not help succumbing to the terrifying firepower mounted on the ELF Cruiser. I raced back to protect the planet and caught sight of Catch 23 roughly 8k behind Cambridge Research Station, with no choice but to engage. The Cruiser devoured my Gunboat's shields in practically no time, despite me trying to unbalance it's aim with evasive attacks. A quick blast of nanobots brought my hull back to full as I drew the Catch 23 towards the planet, where SNS Payne was racing to reach. As soon as Payne reached combat range, the battle was turned, Catch 23 buckling beneath the weight of Payne's ferocious arsenal. I provided support fire and tried to draw that of Catch 23's weapons whilst the Hand of Payne administered judgement on the ELF vessel. It could not pull away for long before being torn asunder leaving Cambridge in peace once more. I paid SNS Payne $4 million credits for the somewhat impromptu duties in Cambridge. Another welcome expense for the protection of Bretonia. SF Message Dump - Hyperwave22 - 10-26-2006 Transmit to: Commodore Badger Comm ID: Battleship Sierra It all turned out very well then. I am sorry that I was not able to be there for the big fight as Battleship Sierra had major problem with its core. There was a possibility of instantaneous explosion any time, and I had to move it to Southampton before we all died. ***OOC***: I had to go :P ***IC*** On a last note, I recommend that all ships be careful of ELF. Whenever they are in Cambridge, it's usually to wreak havoc, but away from prying SF eyes. They are good at hiding, but then again, Cambridge is a big system. Battleship Sierra out SF Message Dump - Firebird - 10-26-2006 Transmit To: All SF Personnel Comm ID: Firebird The pressence of the Mandalore assisting is interesting, hmmm. Send a thank you to [IND] and Bs| for their assistance as well as thank the SNS Payne for its services in defending Cambridge. Your actions will not go unnoticed in the eyes of the SF.
