Omic Alpha sounds pretty much what I'd expect. Gangland crime, small fish getting chewed up. Aku, get in game man, and play the rebel who plays by his own rules. No point having that Destroyer unless you get to use it....for piracy...oh wait....em.....how about random acts of terror....no wait....uh...raid Omi Gamma? Say: Well, he's a part of us, but too bad. We still love him, deal with it.Iranian government wouldn't be able to do anything since such a poor minded soldier would only be executed at once after being judged by the related court of United States. As for the conduct you mentioned, I have no info so I will stay away from it. Split from Admin Notice. - Orin - 10-01-2008 Well, maybe that's a bad example. But in obvious RP, a renegade soldier deciding to kill ones of quasi-neutral relationship would deserve some sort of correction. Are you against that? Split from Admin Notice. - Orin - 10-01-2008 That's what is in question. According to this edict, The Order would have to turn a blind eye for fear of "dictating his RP". As for lawfuls protecting their space, they have every right. That's not really in question here. If it is, I'd be flabberghasted. Split from Admin Notice. - chovynz - 10-01-2008 Getting rid of all player factions would solve many "perceived" problems. But I doubt anyone, bar a handful, wants that to happen Split from Admin Notice. - Othman - 10-01-2008 It depends on what you mean by 'The Order'. An official faction bearing that role might be able to deal with it provided that the person in question is their member. As a community of Order aligned players, you could at best issue a notification to the person for his crimes and the nasty clamor he has caused for the tranquil peasants. Split from Admin Notice. - Orin - 10-01-2008 True, I refer to them in general. Tenabras and Aki are indies, they do a good job at RPing fairly powerful roles. In short, the player factions are just usually better organized to carry out in RP punishment, that's why they get the grief. Which is kind of annoying, considering they have put so much effort into creating a working environment, and then an indy goes completely out of line of command, and the coordinating members get kicked for RPing consequences that would obviously happen in RP. Split from Admin Notice. - stewcool - 10-01-2008 Im blame this one fully on me FYI. Bs| had little to do with the diplomatic thing that occurred. Actions of a group of individuals or even official factions do not bind the final decisions given and issued by administration and the owner of the mod on the monitoring of diplomatical relationships between the affliations of Sirius. Such rights are reserved for them to alter alliances, hostilities or neutralities. And I'm afraid, your understanding is defected. No one disagrees that the admins have the power, and thus the right to go about mucking with other peoples RP. The issue here, for me, is more about consistency in their mucking than that they do it at all. When you get right down to it the server is big enough for everyone's RP, if it's managed correctly. Right now it's not. Instead of promoting a structure they are swinging a big stick back and forth, hitting some with the forestroke, some with the back. |
