I want to inform you that given the circumstances I am ready to return to active duty, with a caveat. My personal life on the rise - my daughter has pulled through and her health has improved, I cannot thank you enough for granting me this leave.
The flagship carrier' under my command, LNS-Lemon's retrofit has been completed. I suspect it might be the longest active serving carrier in the Fleet and has undergone drastic internal modernisation and is now ready for duty. The refit is extensive, and I deem it proper to go with a change of name, with your permission. I propose the name LNS-Barbara.Jacobi, after the Nomad War heroic president of Liberty - a name I hope is fitting of a modern warship of our fleet.
One of the biggest factors for my urgent request to return however is the Insurgency conflict. For years I have tried to go the way of compassion, allowing the Insurgents to see through their folly and rejoin our society after facing justice for the crimes their self-serving leaders have pushed them into. I believe both my combat experience, knowledge of the problematic and long function as the frequent leader of reconnaissance and intrusions into Vespucci and Kansas give me no choice but to join the front lines in Kansas alongside the Delaware command.
After careful consideration, I would also like to be assigned the the special rank of Commodore for the duration of the Insurgency Campaign. It is my intention to join the front line fighting, be face to face with our enemy to explore any possibility of finding a peaceful solution and making them lay down their arms. It would be counter productive to hold the high level rank of the most prominent fleet in the Liberty Navy, risk capture and being forced to focus on supply duty and strategy rather than full on front line combat operations.

As some of you maybe not aware, but I bring news at some interference in Cortez System after the war. You see I met a group of scientists coming from all the way the Omega systems, researching the lost ship by the name of Benethy, a Gallic ship to be precise.
Our communication was civilized and they don't have any intentions of being hostile towards our authority. Although other factions were eager to be put down in space, as of right now there was no one else in Cortez, despite the troubles. They only seek research for their own work as they wish to identify what technology does the Gallic Navy has during these darker times within the system. As of right now I don't know my orders about the situation if they're permitted to be investigating without any certain permission, however I didn't made a fuss about it and let it be, only offered is protection within the Liberty Law and to give notice that this organization as of right now are not hostile towards us and willing to cooperate.
The research will take days, weeks, even months until they depart. For now is just to inform most of our colleagues of the current investigation and to be aware of the command ship of our guests. The identity is also known by SCEC|CPW-Lusankya. That's the end of my report.

I advised that I would be alone, so I will not be taking any escorts with me, they are needed far more at the frontlines and I won't detract from our combat capabilities in the field.

The Lieutenant that the Insurgency sent to negotiate with me has been rather brash, to the effect of openly informing me of where these civilian evacuees are being sent to. Concerningly, Planet Erie is one of the two locations; the other, Planet Yuma in Coronado.
I don't want us to be overstretched between too many systems, so I'm ordering a small scale force of your choosing to be redeployed to Pennsylvania immediately. Given the on-going attacks by Insurgent Forces in New York, we don't want to remove too many of our capitals from its defence. Any transports harboring and providing logistical aid to these evacuees must be immediately intercepted. We cannot allow them to freely enter Liberty.
I will liaise and coordinate with the Liberty Security Force and the Fifth Fleet once I return to the Anchorage. Until then, I need to know the Fleet Assets that get tasked with guarding and patrolling the vicinity of Erie.
I trust that you will action this and report back in good time. I would have requested Commodore Van Leer to assist you, but he is otherwise engaged in the frontlines.
