Well, I dont think the pirates are winning at the moment; the way things are going there wont be any left...
A distress call was recieved by Sam and I that a certain RajunCajun trader was being chased by another certain pirate named {Helghast}(GC)~Hunter.
We immediately set out to rescue the trader in distress, and proceeded to Frankfurt in hot persuit of the pirate. Eventually, with the help of Sam's cruise distruptors, and my Inferno, the pirate was dispatched.... An interesting event then happened:
Sam, who was forced to fire his Train Cruise Distruptors, was hostile to the Bundschuh and the Rhineland federal police, and it was like watching the cinema as Sam tried to outrun both factions, desperately trying to kill him.
One less pirate to deal with....

Howdy Jay,
The Hex 23 offered two of your Epsilon lads, the Mandel and Asher, a contract today.
I was loaded with engines at Honshu, and prepared to head west, when I noticed NovaPG forces loitering about Kyushu.
No KNF escorts were available, and your lads were close by in Sigma 13. Easy money for the IND I assumed.
However, Mandel reported they were having "weps" problems.. (probably due to hot barrels from potting at each other...); and further dallied about until I decided to withdraw the offer and proceed to the Taus on my own.
I used my inscrutable Kusaran wiles to elude the Nova terrorists, and was docking at Nago when I noticed that Mandel and Asher had finally made New Tokyo. The NovaPG were also in New Toke by then.. but, as the old proverb goes: "Snooze, ya lose".
The drinks at the Blossom are on you this time, Jay old friend. Or your boys can scrape the flax out of their own pockets.

Well, Asher and I were in Sigma 13 when we were testing weapondry loadouts... (Mine were having a lot of trouble)
We moved out in search for a weapon that can replace my own when we found a NovaPG in New Tokyo and the Honshu jumpgate.
Intoxication was his name, we engaged. About 10 seconds later we were joined by (NovaPG)-Adixu, and then (NovaPG)-Die-Hard.
We kept our fire on Intoxication until all his weapons were destroyed, though I took major damage before getting to that point.
Fire was then pointed on Adixu where all his guns but 2 were destroyed...
We then noticed Die Hard was doing major damage to my hull, not for long though as Asher and I hit him with full force.
Die Hards guns were blown off, at that point the Blood Dragons fled, as they had no more firepower.
I am heavily damaged and currently docked on Roppongi, and should be back in action soon.

Gateway Shipping* CEO Gordon Brown has granted GEO** the right to add another transport to their fleet.
"With the growth in markets we have seen already from the GEO arm of the corporation, it was only natural the project be enlarged to meet demand" said Mr Brown "Inter-house trade is on the up as well as shipping into new areas of sirius" he went on to say.
GEO CEO Raven explained the enlargement;

Gateway Shipping shares were up 2% on the New London Stock exchange, but many analysts are still reserving judgement on the potential market value of Gateway Shipping and don't expect a huge demand for Gateway shares in the near future. The main concern being the market lead and power of Bowex in Bertonia.

This Sparks, for the Beacon Hill. We've engaged and destroyed several Helghast pirates in the Sigmas today, the latter (a gunboat) with the help of Pat Boone. Commander Fisgard is conducting some negotiations with the Junkers for some equipment he thinks may be useful. We've acquired four Codename class weapons, and I suspect we'll be selling a few of them off to... less sauvory sources. Although we're used to catching the smugglers, we also know how they operate, and we're more than happy not to shoot them if they're willing to pay us for it. I suspect we'll be operating beyond central control for at least the next three weeks, will keep you updated.
