Lukas was stumped. He was getting more nervous by the second, and it was starting to show. His voice shook slightly as he took his fate in his hands and leapt off the metaphorical cliff, praying the drop wasn't far.
"I- I have very little idea how, Commissar. All I can say is that your ideals have incubated a revolutionary drive within me. When I was rejected by my homeland for standing up for what it means to be human, for being true to myself, and when I heard directly from one of your broadcasting channels while I sat on the Freeport what you stand for: that was when I was convinced, Commissar."
Lukas blinked faster as his nerves began to get the better of him.
"Despite all the propaganda which was pumped into me, I was able to see past it."
He paused again.
"I think - I think that if the people can be shown how much better their lives can be, then that would engender revolution among them. But as to how we would go about this..."
He tailed off, uncertain. He fixed his gaze even more firmly on the same spot of floor, not daring to look into the commissar's eyes.

It does not matter the fight, we all will lose to time in the end." Jacob paused again before he continued."Yes, anyone can quote a book. Even some fat LPI cop drunk in some bar. But from no book will I quote that I believe the only thing that has a clear goal and has any chance is the Coalition. And sir, any cause can be a heartless bitch. But any ice heart can be melted if given the right amount of heat, passion, and perseverance." Jacob blew some hair from his eye. "Why I want her as my mistress...I lost my closest friend, was stonewalled by some useless cops. Here...it is useless to look now, but here I can do my best to make Sirius better, under a system where eceryone is equal. Give those jackarses who run the IND, Samura, all those companies who only care for profit the greatest insult: paying them the same amount as a burger flipper on Denver." Rand looks around the wating room, only him and his 'escort' remain other than the receptionist, already identified as Alicia.
Diagnostics finished and on to his trying to work out the issues with the final stages of the plasma flow are going smoothly. Rand smiles a small private smile. He had never expected so much time to work on the project while waiting.
Other men may fall victim to the torture of waiting, but Rand is not other men. He is a patient man, knowing that in time his turn will come.
