/restart allow you only choose one of 4 main houses
Rhino with his 225 cargo hold was the best ship for new starting trader / hellium miner
The best common range sanner was 'Discovery Scanner'

(To be honest, I can't understand why there's nerf now, as every house law surely writes down that certain ships and weaponry cannot be used and will be confiscated by lawful authorities, fined, or even destroyed.

...in 4.84 there was a bug, in which Bismark (Rheinland Battleship) sometimes used to thrust backwards into +1000, when trying to go back.

You could get to Sigma-13 from New Berlin via a jump hole, but there were level 18 Wild NPCs with CDs around the jump hole on both sides. Made trading shorter, but very risky. I lost quite a few shipments of Plutonium there.
