AP Manufacturing - Ash - 03-19-2009 Incoming Transmission To: Board of Directors From: Anix Jenkins Subject: Upgrade Priority: Moderate Message Reads: My Dear Board of Directors. What I ask today pains me a little but it must be done for the good of the company. After some eventful times my proud and mighty percheron has kept me alive on more than one occassion, and has proven to many criminals throughout Bretonia and beyond that appearances can be decieveing. I've taught a few unlucky pirates that APM is NOT willing to give up it's cargo or it's profits. But now i regret to say it's time to put my dear ship away. The demands for equipment are growing fast, and our clients in Bretonia want more in such a short space of time that it's almost impossible to meet these demands. By the time i'm half way to New Berlin i've got a new order from Douglas for 3000 units of Mining Machinery. So i'm requesting clearance for the decommissionment of my mighty B-40-E Percheron in favour of the recent uncleared Bretonian Container Transport that has recently been cleared for manufacturing at Scarborough. This giant of a ship should help keep our clients confident in APM with every excess haulage delivered on time and by means of a ship that would fend off raiding parties with ease. The statistics of the container transport are as follows... Streaming file... File loaded Quote: I trust you will make a decision that will be good for the company and for the safety of our shipments. `AJ Transmission Ends AP Manufacturing - carlabrams - 03-19-2009 Incoming Transmission To: Anix Jenkins From: Jeff Phelps, CEO, AP Manufacturing Subject: Upgrade Priority: Moderate Approved. Note that APM already has at least one ship of this class, and so far it has proven to be QUITE effective in dealing with minor annoyances while trading. AP Manufacturing - Agmen of Eladesor - 03-23-2009 Incoming Transmission Origin: Oder Shipyard, New Berlin Destination: Leipzig, Dresden System Cargos: Engine Components (to Southapmpton SY), Basic Alloy (to Leeds), Super Alloy (to Alabama SY), H-Fuel (to Rostock), deadhead to Leipzig Ran into one small donation request in Omega 3, and other than that it was quite uneventful. Currently docked at Leipzig awaiting clearance. AP Manufacturing - Agmen of Eladesor - 03-24-2009 Incoming Transmission Origin: Leipzig Station, Dresden System Destination: Thames Outpost, New London Cargo: High Temperature Alloy, Boron It's a long trip through Bretonia to Pueblo with the cargo from Dresden, but it can be done. I then picked up a load of Boron at Pittsburgh for delivery to Thames Outpost at New London. While going through New York, there were three Liberty Navy pilots arguing with a Rogue gunboat - who then had the audacity to attack me - directly in front of the LN. I think he must've had Outcast blood or something. In any event, the LN made short work of him. While enroute through Magellan, the new Sagittarius earned her first spurs. A Lane Hacker with more testicular fortitude than cognitive facilities tried to pirate our ship. Except that he was in a light fighter... We then had a very thrilling ride to a planet with a certain Mr. Phate breathing down our necks, but docked quite safely and delivered our cargo with no further problems. AP Manufacturing - pieguy259 - 03-25-2009 INCOMING TRANSMISSION From: Captain Sarah Gallagher Employee Registration: APM-Libra From: Planet Cambridge, Cambridge System Destination: Planet Stuttgart, Stuttgart System Cargo: Super Alloy, H-Fuel Shipment Outcome: INCOMPLETE Traded in the Heavy Tanker for a "Shire" Bretonian Transport, for extra firepower. We ran a load of Super Alloy down to Alabama Shipyard (note: those travelling through Cambridge, the Mollys have a new base in the Keswick Ice Cloud), then started to bring H-fuel back to New London. Had to stop on Stuttgart with engine trouble. Will complete the journey ASAP. END TRANSMISSION AP Manufacturing - Agmen of Eladesor - 04-05-2009 Incoming Transmission From: Captain Jeff Phelps, APM-Sagittarius Cargo Origin: Gran Canaria, Omega 49 Cargo Destination: Ames Research Station, Kepler Cargo : Deuterium Delivery Result: Nominal Cargo Origin: CLASSIFIED, Colorado System Cargo Destination: Interspace Facilities, Bonn Station, New Berlin Cargo: CLASSIFIED Delivery Result: Nominal Comments: Not having to go all the way to Deshima to deliver Deuterium is nice, as is there finally being a trade lane in California and Ontario. While enroute, we received a communique from Interspace that they needed a special cargo delivered to their facilities in Bonn. So we took care of that for them - figures that if you do some things very low key there's no issues. Refitting at Oder for a run back to New London right now - one of the thruster nozzles needed some work. AP Manufacturing - carlabrams - 04-16-2009 Incoming Transmission From: Captain Jeff Phelps, APM-Sagittarius Cargo Origin: Oder Shipyard, New Berlin Cargo Destination: Southampton Shipyard, New London Cargo : Engine Components Delivery Result: Nominal During my recent run, I received a communication from the Bounty Hunters Guild. The base we recently constructed in Omicron Delta for them has received a sudden influx of synth paste due to a shipping error. Certain other commodities are needed to maintain regular day-to-day operations. If possible, ship captains are to contact a BHG| or BHG|Core pilot for escort and deliver appropriate replacement parts. BHG|Galiot (gunship) and BHG|Atmas (bomber) escorted us both ways. Outbound route was Omega 15 - Omega 41 - Omicron Theta - Omicron Kappa - Omicron Delta. Return route was much shorter - Omicron Kappa - Omicron Theta - Sigma 17 - Sigma 13 - New Berlin. I recommend this route for further supply trips out and back. We did have a couple of encounters with hostile craft, but our hunter escorts performed their jobs well, and all ships and cargo reached both destinations safely and with no trouble. Additional supply runs are in the planning. With the proximity of Sigma 13 to New Berlin, we could have a large convoy of ships outbound with a very large escort. This would allow Dabadoru to totally restock on all supplies and ship components. Note that when you go through Sigma 17 to go up and OVER the star coronas - much quicker. Also if someone finds themselves at Atka, they have some inexpensive supplies available there that Dabadoru also needs. (No, not the Synth!) Then took on the second stage, I was in a quasi-convoy with another trader name of Planet Express. We got stopped by a pirate named Jongeluer between Freeport 1 and the Omega 3 jump gate. He wanted to play a puzzle game. I gave him another puzzle - I asked him if he'd like to find out how long his hull would last under our combined firepower. He decided not to pay that game, and the rest of the trip went without any issues. End Transmission |
