Konnichiwa Sisters,

Earlier today Crayter overstepped their boundaries. They ceased Fuyuzora on her tracks in Tau-23 and demanded the dropping of the Cardamine aboard he vessel. Me on the Hoshihokori and another one of our Sisters, Yoshigahara.Kiwako along with Fuyuzora's escort, a Freelancer by the name of Tomiko.Saya were all in the vicinity, thankfully. I made sure Crayter knows that what they are doing will get their ships disabled and that this is no place to challenge the might of the Gen'an. They didn't particularly seem to care, insisting that Fuyuzora must drop her cargo.

Of course, it is quite predictable what happened next. The overconfident Crayterian pilots ended up engaging, a very bad move on their end. Well... at least they can't say I didn't warn them. The Crayterian forces consisted of a gunboat, =CR=FV-Teucer|418 and two snubcraft - a bomber, =CR=Spartan-5 and a very heavy fighter, =CR=Hellfire. Their forces were taken down with no casualties, as expected, of course. The most that the three Crayterian vessels could do is provide a good target practice session for me.

Just less than thirty minutes later another Crayterian gunboat, this time along with a cruiser and a battlecruiser were spotted in Tau-37, once again invading Gen'an space. Me and my sisters couldn't simply let that happen. Once again on my trusty Hoshihokori, supported by my Sisters Yunoki.Misaki, Ketsueki.Kohaku, Yoshigahara.Kiwako andBlue_Fury we headed out to Tau-37 and patrolled the sector to find the vessels. Just a few moments later, the three Crayterian vessels, =CR=FV-Tyche|482, Beegan and Flexitarian came through the Omicron Alpha jumphole.

With little to almost no chatter an engagement occurred. Their forces this time, being of course of higher caliber than our own, were a lot more time consuming to take down. The gunboat was an exception to that, being put out of action within a mere two minutes of combat, but the battlecruiser and the cruiser proved to be a lot tougher to take down. Unfortunately, the vessel of a fellow Sister was shot down during combat, but it was nothing too serious. After roughly fifteen minutes of combat, both hostile warships were shot down.

In conclusion, the main assessments gathered from the above events are two. The first one is that Freelancer Tomiko.Saya was a respectable fighter, escort and a kind valuable addition to our cause, should she decide to go down that path, of course. The second assessment is that we apparently have a new enemy to watch out for, Crayter.

Keep your eyes open Sisters, stay safe.

Konnichiwa Sisters,

Earlier today while I was assisting the trade effort as an escort vessel the transport I was escorting the Fuyuzora was attacked by a Hogosha fighter under the calllsign of Yamada.Shouzou. After some initial jousting with the Fuyuzora and its continued disruption of our mission I opened fire on the craft.

Despite my best efforts my vessel was damaged by a prematurely detonating mine which caused my vessel to lose power and left me drifting. I was thankfully collected by the Fuyuzora before it continued back to Malta. It appears sisters, that I may be reaching the limits of the fixes I made before I left Kyushu. After some analysis I was able to hotfix my craft well enough to return Morioka. However, the original hull plates are quite badly damaged and it appears that they will not hold out much longer. It is my hopes with the assistance of my sisters that I will be able to get my vessel to perform to its maximum capabilities.

Respectfully,

Tomiko Saya

Tomiko Saya,

I have notified our chief engineer, Asano Aika, to take a look at your sunflyer and assist you in improving its combat capabilities. Good job out there, you nearly had him, even though your ship failed you in the end. Next time, make sure you finish him off. The Fuyuzora and you both made it back in one piece and the Hogosha was forced into retreat.

Hinohara Yuuko,

I have an assignement for you. As you are one of our most skilled gunboat captains, I would like you to take Catalina Anna Fernández out for a field training. She is a Maltese who requested permission to join our ranks. I want you to asses her combat capabilities and correct her mistakes where able. Besides this, I want you to get to know more about her and if she is suitable for our organisation. Give me a detailed report when you complete this assigment.

Sisters,

I have picked up Catalina Fernandez from Tau-23 and have brought her to Ainu Depot as requested. I will begin with sharing my logs of our initial contact

My evaluation of Catalina:
She seems like an interesting person, talkative, but at some points her Maltese accent confuses me. Her ship really needs some decent repairs, as it seems to break down alot. I haven't seen her in combat yet, but her tridente has some really good equipment on board. She mentioned that she likes women and that she escaped a planned marriage. Finally, her understanding of Matsuda's teachings at this point is insufficient to become an initiate.

Konbanwa, sister Tomiko Saya!

I was lead to understand that your Starflyer has some form of sentimental value? It's a shame, as our Iris is a lovely ship, and quite capable! However, after we repair the chassis damage taken from the beating she took, I know we can replace the armour plating with no problems, I think we can even look into upgrading it, so you get to fly home under your own power next time!

Her engines seem to have taken a lot of strain, and seem to be on their last legs, We could replace them with one of a couple different types we have access too, unless you want to go for the full overhaul they'll need to get back into fighting shape?

Lastly, you must have really fought hard, as many of your cannon capacitors are completely burned out, along with several cannon themselves. Our cell of the Sisterhood has access to several different cannons types, including the weapons of our allies on Malta, our own Suncannon series, and several aftermarket civilian cannons, depending on your combat style, and preferences...

It seems the backlash of the mine hit did quite a bit of damage to your system over all. We CAN get her flying again. And she will! Better than ever! It is a testament to your own tenacity that you even made it this far!

Feel free to look at our stocks, and get in touch with the Matriarch, or Misaki-sama for anything you think you want to add, or modify while we repair her. Misaki-sama works miracles for me all the time, always finding the parts I want!

Either way, feel free to reach out and contact me with questions or modifications to your ship, so we can get her flying as you want her to, and get you back in space!

Konnichiwa Sisters,

Just a few hours ago I met up with Catalina Anna Fernández as requested by First Communications Officer Ikeda Yume to take care of her trial. Catalina seemed a little nervous at first, but that quickly changed as she got comfortable around me. In terms of Catalina's experience I'd say she impressed me - her aiming on the gunboat can get better and there's a fair lot of room for improvement on both that and her dodging abilities, but she gets the spirit of fighting in a gunboat. She knows when to get close and when to keep her distance and I have to say I'll be very happy to train her on the ship even more as she definitely has the capabilities - just lacks time and practice. Catalina passes the trial, good work Catalina - I have attached a recording of the trial in a secure channel.

Later on, a few minutes after our session with Catalina we got word that Crayter is overextending in Tau-23 again. We decided to blockade the Jumpgate to 31 and wait. In due time, two Crayter cruisers, CFV-Europa and Beegan, along with a Crayter battlecruiser, Flexitarian and an LSF bomber, Lance.McKinnon showed up and to nobody's surprise engaged us in almost no time. "Us" consisting of me on the Hoshihokori, MNS-Accordion, GC-Tanaka.Aishi and our newest Sister, Catalina aboard the DeathKnight. We all put up a good fight, but unfortunately the difference in classes was too big for us to take them down and the fact that each of the enemy warships had two missiles mounted didn't help. We may have gotten taken down, but we gave Crayter a clear view of what to expect if they walk into our zone of operations again.

Stay safe, Sisters.

Konnichiwa Sister Asano,

My thanks for taking the time to get back to me. It is very much appreciated.

Yes, I am aware that my vessel isn't really state of the art but it is what I am used to and I have been through a lot with it. In regards to the issue of getting the ship properly operational you do raise some interesting points as to how I could complete it's restoration.

I will start by discussing what modifications I have been able to make to the vessel already given my own knowledge and components I have been able to procure from either the outcasts at cali, the junkers or Morioka base. I have so far been able to repair the scanner somewhat using parts I was able to buy from a scrap dealer in New London. I have also been able to procure and patch in a 'Wardog' mine dropper system and 'Train' cruise disruptor system from cali base. From Morioka I was able to find some suncannon weapons which were compatible with the ship although I had to use the older capacitors from the original weapons as the interfaces are different.

As for the issues that are outside of my capabilities to repair myself:

I would agree with your assessment of the hull plating whole heartedly. This vessel was originally owned by a retired freelancer who was living on Kyushu. I was able to afford this vessel even with my limited funds due in part to its unmaintained condition. In regards to the armour plating, given that my primary role at the moment appears to be serving as an escort I would like to request that the armour be upgraded as far as it can be without impacting the mass or manoeuvrability of the ship.

I will defer to your judgement in relation to the primary drive system. I am aware that there is a fuel leak somewhere which I have been unable to track down. If there is an engine system that can be easily swapped in to replace the current drive system that would be the most logical course of action. *Laughs* maybe with the old engine we could open a museum exhibit? I have also been considering installing a 'cheetah' thruster system to increase combat performance if there is one available which can be run on a smaller powercore.

My final serious worry is the current shield generator. Though it was suitable at the ships launch it was designed to deal with weapons half as powerful as what is in use today. I have had the shield system completely overloaded by a glancing blow of an enemy ship's cannons. It may be worth replacing the entire shield generator as given the rust on it (like most of the hull plates) if we have a compatible unit. If not it may need to be stripped down and rebuilt which I must admit is beyond my knowledge or capabilities.

There will more than likely be further questions I will have as time goes on. But, I believe resolving these three issues should allow me to be operational. I will of course request assistance from the engineers available at Morioka base to make the required repairs, rebuilds and changes.

Kobanwa, Sisters,

I enjoyed the opportunity to chat with our newest candidate for the sisterhood, Catalina Anna Fernández. It was nice seeing a fellow gunboat pilot. Being from Hispania, I may learn much from her. Perhaps we can learn from each other.
Sister Misaki, given some time to learn of Matsuda's teachings, I think she will make a fine initiate. Accent? Well, growing up among Zoners, I too have an accent in the eyes of many Kusarians. Her stories were a good listen.
I look forward to seeing more of her.

-Emiko

Konbanwa again.

Hiroyuki Saya asked me to forward a message. She wishes to step forward and take off the final examination of Catalina before her initiation. She wishes to test her knowledge of Matsuda's vision and her compatibility with the Sisterhood. Hiroyuki-san is hessitant with accepting foreigners and therefore wishes to be convinced of Catalina's motivations first
