Description of report: Had reports of pirate activity brewing in the California system, got into my trusty little one hit wonder and went to investigate. Upon entering the system, i encountered an LIA agent communicating with what appeared to be an Insurgent Osiris that was cloaked nearby. I simply hailed the LIA and went on with finding the pirates. Reaching Planet Los Angeles, i picked up the first of the scumbags on my scanners and realized he was in a Outcast 'Tridente' Gunship. As i got closer, i saw that his colleague was next to him, a 'Barghest' bomber. We engaged in some small talk before the third and final member of the group, a 'Sabre' fighter, came and joined up. With the three musketeers finally gathered, i was outnumbered and outgunned. I was sure i could not take them on by myself alone without reinforcements, before i could contact the LIA agent back then, Sicario became aggressive and begun to engage me. While he went head on with me, the other two numbsacks sat back and watched us, like a guinea pig in an science experiment. Well okay let me cut the story short, the Sabre was overconfident and did not use their sheer numbers to end me quicker. Made them pay and took down the Sabre and Barghest in duels. Engaged the Gunship and shortly after, surprise surprise, an Hasta Outcast Battlecruiser appeared out of nowhere. So of course i did what any sensible man would do and ran for my life towards Planet Los Angeles. I was not planning to take on two capital ships by myself, surely i would have perished easily.

After i had successfully fled to New York, i contacted the LIA agent about the Outcast warship that had appeared earlier. I then took a more suitable ship for such situations and met up with him at West Point. Not sure where he went from California, we both begun to split up and search the different areas. I went to check the Detroit Fields to Rochester Base and he went to the Badlands. After flying for a little while, our hopes of finding him were slowly disappearing and i was about to call off the search. Thankfully, the LIA agent spotted him on his scanners as he entered Pennsylvania. Giving chase, i immediately set course for the gate in the Badlands. So once again cutting it short, chased him to Pennsylvania and disposed of him near Philadelphia Station.

Recommendations: Direct attention towards California, the pirates are getting popular mixing in with transport vessels passing through along with their choice of ships.

Description of report: I escorted some [*USI*] ships because they wanted some protection and after, I was on patrol in New York. Near Norfolk, I spotted a Freelancer having three Vengeances. He broke the law 4.1. His ship's call sign was Khyber.

Recommendations: We need to remind to civilians that it is only Security Forces that are allowed to have restricted technology. I mean by Vengeance, Magma Hammer, Lavablades and Navy/LSF/Police's ships.

Today I ran into some sort of "Marauder" AR-29N-1


The damn thing seemed busted, spoke of some anomaly it jumped through to Liberty, was "Exploring"




Well this got me thinking - Obviously we will be sending our scouts to foreign houses, Inverness and other places again. I heard stories of Recoil being spat out in strange places, some say Rheinland even, when doing their scouting duties.

Having automated drones of our own could be of a twofold benefit:
1) We don't risk lives of The Strike Force when scouting in an unfamiliar territory
2) If they do get discovered by foreign forces, we always have plausible deniability of malfunctions and "accidents" of scouting in their areas.

I believe we could even send our scouting division to this "K A P P A" at some point, wherever that is try to see how the drones are made, or seek other avenues of creating them ourselves. In hindsight - maybe I should have just taken the thing to our HQ for study, heck - I might have even tried asking it to and the busted thing would just comply. Alas, my focus on duty and upholding the borders of Liberty prevailed. I simply ordered it to join formation and escorted it beyond our borders.
Being on autopilot on duty, when this is exactly what I tell the lower ranks to avoid.

Oh well,

Maybe the drone will be lost again in Liberty and we will be able to make use of it.

Encountered a freelancer, Scott_Teeman. Conducted silent cargo scan and escort to the Texas system. Nothing out of the ordinary, freelancer conducted himself nominally.

Performed trade lane patrol to Battleship Missouri. No further actions taken. It's been a quiet night.

Up! Get up! Multiple contacts in the Kansas System!

Lance, still dizzy from the previous night of drinking and cheer, stumbles out of his bunk. He shakes his head.

Am I on Battleship Missouri... or uh... no, West Point. That explains the comfortable sleep...

As if an automated process, Lance suddenly finds himself in the cock pit of his fighter. He glances at his engine and system status. All readings show green, He looks to his left and to his right, his fellow squad mates flying in a loose formation toward the Kansas jump hole. Lance grabs his bottle and takes a long swig. The water and electrolyte mixture will kick this hangover before the battle begins.

The squad suddenly disappears into the aura of the jump hole. Their ships shake violantly, not good for a man with a hangover. Lance holds his mouth... fortunately the jump ends before his body has time to reject his drink.

...Contact front! Heading 0100. Squad, focus fire on the bombers!

Lance looks around. Multiple heavy targets on both sides. He will need to try and keep the small craft close to his allied heavies while targeting those pesky bombers!

"Shield failed"

Shit! Multiple contacts have me under fire!

Lance turns and maneuvers his fighter for another run toward his friendly heavies. Hopefully their fire will shake them. Unfortunately, the heavies are overwhelmed by the enemy heavies.

"Hull breach im..."

Another one. I don't know how I'm going to explain this to my commander.

Lance pulls his eject lever. The cockpit pod thrusts off and away from his fighter with an explosion. The thrusters under the cockpit engage which launches the cockpit pod away from the fighter. Lance watches as his fighter rolls, it's wings ripping apart as the enemy fighters shred the remaining husk to scrap. Before the enemy fighters have a chance to turn and tractor Lance's pod, the cruise engine engages and sends Lance back to West Point Military Academy.

Damnit, another fighter lost. Command will NOT be happy with me...

Description of report: I went into space for a patrol, but already, there were two Rogues and an Insurgency. I gave an emergency signal, but no one respond so I was alone... My cam ship was broken so there is no pictures that I can give and I am sorry. So the Insurgency tried to hire me, but it failed so we fought and my ship was destroyed. I gave all I got, but it wasn't enough. My head hit terribly hard the hublo when my ship was destroyed. I survived, but I am loosing blood...

Description of report: A Rheinland Warship far From Home.

Recommendations: We should watch the Borders a bit Better so that no Rheinlander Spys can Slip in anymore.

Today I was on a Stationary Defense Post at Manhattan as an Oder Class Rheinland Gunboat Named Schloigt left the Mooring Right in front of us. the Vessel had an MND IFF and stated to be here in a Diplomatic Mission and that the Government would have been Informed about this. I haven't Believed one Word from them and have told the Capitan of the Oder that it would have a First Fleet Escort if its Claims were true. after the Capitan of the Oder semed to Disagree with me that his Clearly Build for Military Purpose Ship wasn't a Warship I decided not to Create a Diplomatic Incident and to Escort the Oder Gunboat back to its own House. at the Rheinland/Liberty Border, I nonetheless warned him that we would Consider him Hostile and Open Fire Next time.
