To this end, I'm ordering all Battlegroups from New York and surrounding systems to rendezvous with our Vespucci Battlegroup. Commodore Blake Van Leer and accompanying Fleet Assets are currently reinforcing the Delaware's group, so link up with our assets in the field there, report in and standby for further orders.
The time to strike is now and finally rid ourselves of the Insurgency and make a brighter and safer future for Liberty.

This comes at a right time, we have suffered great losses, but the Insurgents are on the back foot. Tomorrow along with Delaware we will attempt a push at the remaining defenders. Most of their women and children should be gone by now - we don't have to hold back, our heaviest weapons will be used in a frontal assault.
Whatever remains of their departing convoys must be intercepted so the Insurgency cannot regroup - we fully expect theit combat groups to lose morale and abandon their posts any time now.
We welcome any and every ship that joins our offensive tomorrow! The Delaware Battlegroup will be waiting.

With deepest regret I must inform you that our push into Vespucci has failed.
My vessel has lead the charge of our fleet.
However in a shocking turn of events the Insurgents have summoned the Battlegroup Starlancer they managed to conceal from us - but that's not all, they seemed to have taken command of Xenos themselves! We have been summarily defeated, the entire Kansas Battlegroup has been wiped out - and clearly we must take a more cautions approach.
The Barbara Jacobi will require extensive repairs, we have barely escaped and are returning to Alaska. Perhaps one of the admirals can take command in aiding the Ohio Battlegroup, my women, men and crew members beyond the binary need to replenish their morale and treat their injuries - I am awaiting your orders in terms of granding said request.

The aftermath of the Vespucci Campaign will be felt throughout the Fleet for sometime, I feel.
That said, we did the very best with what we had in the field and gave the Insurgency a bit of a thrashing. The Anchorage, too, has sustained very heavy damage throughout and will need fixing urgently. I believe the same of the Cleveland, Lady of Leeds, North Dakota and the Bozeman, as well. I've yet to heard back from them as of yet, so will hold a muster to ensure they got back safe and sound. Dean Johnson performed well in his fighter, along with Vice Admiral Benson, given the number of capitals we were up against.
This will absolutely give us cause to regroup, realign and boost the morale of our respective crews. Maybe revise our strategy moving forwards and working with better coordination with the Liberty Security Force and Fifth Fleet respectively; it can only work to our advantage in the future.
We will hold a meeting at the Command level and disseminate appropriate orders in the days to come. Until then, recoup and rest up. Get your ship back up to a fighting condition and standby.
That is all.

This is Gunnarsson, reporting the status of the Forty-Sixth Battlecruiser under my command, the North Dakota.
The North Dakota sustained heavy damages during the battle in Vespucci but we managed to limp our way back to Kansas in the aftermath. We are currently located somewhere along the edge of an asteroid field, I am afraid this is the furthest the ship can go without risking complete failure of the engine. Navigational systems are currently unserviceable and Auxiliary systems are in a critical state.

I have tasked our engineers onboard to begin works in attempting to restore the Auxiliary systems, but it seems that it will take awhile as we are not in the possession of the required resources. The North Dakota will have to remain stationary for the time being. Fortunately, the weapons and targeting systems still function as they should.
Hopefully with the help of the asteroids, the ship can remain undetected long enough until our engineers are able to do their best in getting the engine stabilized. Then, we will set out to find our way back to familiar space. Till then.

I am most pleased to bring this news to you, as I know all of you showed great concern about our former Fleet Admiral, Aden Tanner.
One of the two Search and Rescue teams launched from the Anchorage had located the Texas, Tanner's Flagship. From the report I received, she was in a rather sorry state. The black-box recording indicated that the Texas was ambushed just on the other side of the Vespucci jump hole from the Kansas system, while en route to rendezvous with myself. Furthermore, that the Admiral had ordered his crew to abandon ship and to get back through to the Pennsylvania system, setting the Texas' weapon batteries to auto-defensive fire to cover their escape.
The crew have been located and they have been transported from Planet Erie back to Salt Lake Station. Admiral Tanner has been secured and is currently receiving medical treatment at the Capital. From the discussion I've had with the medical staff, they are certain that he will make a quick recovery. So I would expect him to release a statement shortly when he is feeling fit to do so. Lastly, the Texas has been secured and been transported back to Norfolk for a repair evaluation.
Finally, some good news that I can share with you following the events of the Vespucci Campaign just a few days ago.

I am pleased to announce that my stay in medical will be short as I will be cleared for active duty in the coming days. Also, I have been informed by Norfolk shipyard that the Texas is indeed salvageable. However, she will require extensive repairs before being fit for service.
Furthermore, I am beyond proud of my colleague Martin Kemp-Smith. He has long been my right hand, never wavering and always loyal. He took upon the post of Fleet Admiral under wartime procedures, due to my status as missing in action. While at this post he has performed exceptionally well, and I see no reason to slow his momentum. Therefore when I return to duty, I shall do so as your Admiral and second in command of the Fleet.
I hope to see you all out in space very soon.

Today I was on a Trial Flight for the Newly Acquired Cercy Cruiser that we got in a Technology Exchange from the BAF. The Original Plan was to make a Short Tour trough the Pennsylvania System and them to head back home to New York. But shortly after we Entered the Orbit of Planet Erie we were hit by an Unknown Space Anomaly and landed in the Distant System of Omicron Zeta. We were not alone and had quite a mixed pile of ships that were brought there by that anomaly. Thankfully we had a Zoner on his Repair ship with us that was accustomed to the Region and could show us the way back to liberty. We had also a Liberty Archer Cruiser and a Freelancer Fighter as well as a Junker Transport Ship with us. We Found the Wreck of a Research Vessel in Omicron Zeta and could Salvage Secret Research Data about the Nomads from its Mainframe before we Retreated out of the system and made our way out of the Omicrons. We Managed to Leave the Omicrons without any Encounters thankfully. But sadly we Ran into a Fleet of Liberty Rouges and Auxesians as we entered the Pennsylvania System. The Crew of the Gibraltar Fought very well in this Engagement and we managed to Give the enemy Heavy Damage before we had to Retreat from the Combat. Sadly we have Lost all the Research Data in this Engagement as a Plasmabolt Damaged the Computers of the Ship and Deleted them. The only good thing is that the Enemys didn't get the Data as Well.
This engagement also showed me that I have to search for a Replacement for my Ageing Archer Class Destroyer, as much as it hurts me but the Lady of Leeds spends a Lot of time in Dock these Days and she is really showing her age now. As a ship that has Already Served in the Gallic War, I hope that we can Preserve her so that she doesn't have to be scrapped. The Time on the Gibraltar showed me how much I missed it to Comand a Bretonian Warship so I hope that the Admirals could help me to obtain a Crecy Class as Replacement for the Lady of Leeds. You don't have to worry about the Potential Costs as I am more than happy to Cover those with my own money. I hope you can help me command a Pice of my Old Home again so that I can Serve my New Home of Liberty even better in the Future and Protect it from any Danger.
