He quickly moved himself to a more amicable sitting position. Zack stretched quickly trying to occupy his time with any diversion, no matter how trivial it was as long as it kept him from contemplating death that awaited failure.

Amber didn't reply at first but quietly began humming to herself. She'd always been shy and the possibility of imminent death wasn't doing a whole lot to change that. She giggled after Zack had finished his mini-rant and then responded to Dmitry's question.
"I'm from Liberty." She supplied but again didn't add anymore details returning instead to her quiet humming.
