Colonials initially wore Planetform tags and needed to do missions in Edinburgh to get them.
lv10 VHF shields were only sold at the robo-planet in what's now named o-kappa. Cap8 armor - only Falkland/T37.

refreshing the page every 5 minutes on an equipment buying thread does not make the player reply quicker

Contrary to what some people believe, Lythrilux didn't actually make APM:

At some point there was a part of Mollys who could settle peace with Bretonian government and get half of Dublin on legitimate basis.

Damn, why didn't i find discovery freelancer 2 years back? This sounds like a hell of a lot of fun.
The venator battleship looks amazing, surely well designed.

Once upon a time, when Igiss did all the economy work, the most profitable trade route in the game was flying Prisoners from the Battleship MacDuff to Planet Harris (which it was orbiting).

This led to much abuse and hilarity, with pirates trying to instakill traders that were flying between the two, traders bringing their alt character caps over to play and OORP everywhere. Consequently, what insufferable people now call "lawls syndrome" was originally known as Harris Syndrome".

So when people give Xoria flak, just be happy that someone who's actually good at the job is taking on a large, boring and suicide-inducing workload so you don't end up with crap like that going on. Tongue

I wish I was around to see this.

The SCRA could usually be found there with their Taiidan Bombers (Homeworld imports, Homeworld imports everywhere), dual supernovas (when that could still be mounted on VHFs) and Xeno IFFs (because that's the one that made most people hostile, y'know), killing Independent Trader ID'd Large Trains (because House transports and 5ks didn't exist at that point).

On good days, they'd bring their Osiris and some Corsair allies and declare that they were quarantining everyone with Harris Syndrom, killing anything that was present, just because. (happy)

Not gonna lie, the production quality of early Disco versions was atrocious as was most of the RP, and anyone who says differently is remembering things through rose tinted glasses. Tongue

(First started playing at the tail end of 4.83)

-there were lots of rep oddities in earlier Discovery. ex: To rep an IMG character in the Taus meant flying missions against Outcasts. Eventually your rep would go green with Corsairs. IMG ships rep'd in the Omegas would kill Corsairs in missions and be nuetral or green to Outcasts.

-many indy IMG were on very chummy terms with Benitez Corsairs and freely moved thru Corsair territory

-pre modern mining, there wasn't much profit in being in a mining faction. IMG gave me RP excuse to visit distant systems under the guise of 'prospecting / exploring'.
