Started up 4.87 yesterday and it worked fire minus the screen ratio being messed up. Today I clicked the launcher and nothing happened. I've reinstalled it 2 times and still not working. Aet: You appear to be the only one with this problem. Update your video driver? Aet: These are texture issues (the TXM files contain textures for visual effects). Seems you found the glitch already. Aet: Looks like a bad engine was set up in the restart. Returned it to the default. If any ships have this glitch, rebuy the ship. Nothing happens. I know they work because I can click to turn them green so they fire with my guns, but that wastes a lot of missiles. Would like to have mapped key restored so I can leave them deactivated in the HUD and only fire from the mapped key please. Thanks for all your hard work. :-) Aet: Suggestion: Assign them to a specific weapon group, and assign your key to "fire weapon group x" to fire them. You can do this with any weapon, including mines and countermeasures. Try them on a bison. If you fire off to one side of the ship, the turrets on the other side of the ship will fire in arbitrary directions, wasting ship energy. |
