This is some desire that we share and I hope that we will do everything to make it so.

Fair point. I'm all for rational discussion. I will oppose anything that leads away from rational discussion on these issues.

We to be fair there is a lot written, here and other threads, it would be nice if admins has replied to those posts. If points are not constructive, then explain why.

We are trying. We honestly are. I can't speak for all the admins, but for me, the amount of material written on the forums the past few days is a fraction of what I have to read everyday in RL. I'm doing what I can and trying to respond to the admin discussions as well. We're all human after all.

Why did you vote yes to ban them and say there was no other alternative if you are now telling us that there were 5 lesser offenders and that lyth only deserves a perma?

Good job on the assumption elevator once again. I only voted yes on the people I felt were really harmful, and that's three out of the lot that was on the initial list (and that was far more than 6).

My message was simply a generic one. All admins were requested to provide a message.

Just to put it on the record, the development team is in no way involved with the DDoS. It boggles my mind that I should have to say that, as the entire point to this thread is that we believe the move the admin team made was detrimental to the server's population. DDoSing it is even worse.

Edit: I love leaving out words.

I have a good suspition that the dev team is using this as a chance to get fired. Aka death-by-admin. That they are just tired of doing Disco Dev stuff and would like to move on, but rather would get kicked out for beliefs they can pose off as their own, rather than leave and be called out for it.

RE: Official Notice - Development Team Strike - Petitioner - 07-02-2016

Why the heck would you even consider that?

RE: Official Notice - Development Team Strike - Croft - 07-02-2016

Well it's not every day a bunch of Devs hold the mod at ransom, typically strikes are meant as disruptions to express dissatisfaction with current affairs for a limited time and must be agreed upon by the majority with greivance aired well before any action is taken.
The wording is also quite threatening, non-negotiable, all demands must be met, no moderation of the thread. Hell throw in a request for a helicopter and some unmarked bills and you'd have a hostage situation.

Community had this coming for a while.

Devs are standing up for themselves and for the well being of the community and I like that.
