RE: Bretonian Armed Forces Defense Intelligence Staff (DIS) (iRP) (AO) - Kanzler Niemann - 08-04-2016 ![]() Message Class: Textual Encryption: Medium Priority: High To: BAF DIS From: Lieutenant Henry Talbot Location: HMS Essex, Dublin System Greetings everyone, this is a combined report from a few Molly encounters I had in the last days, they grow bolder, rob and plunder as much as possible, BMM Gold mining field is their main target, since BMM is very active there in the last time. Our Patrols must be strengthened in this sector, yesterday I managed to take out a Molly gunboat with the assistance of a Armed Forces pilot from the 2nd fleet, today I had a emergency call from a few miners and haulers in the BMM Gold field they were pirated by Molly's, fool's, they had a Scylla inbound aswell. However 2nd Fleet Destroyers and Carriers managed to take out the Scylla while I was busy with three Molly fighters, after I managed to take out the first, the other two engaged me immediately, after a gunfight with them I managed to take both out, after that a fourth Molly vessel appeared, it was Blodwyn, O'driscol, she aswell wasn't a match for me, I managed to take her out. This sector is safe for now, more Molly's will crawl out of their lair's. Stay strong, be safe. God safe their souls! During patrol in New London, I received data regarding infectee ships attacking civilians in Dublin. Just as I entered the system I encountered the culprit, who was quickly overwhelmed in the duel. As a last resort he attempted to escape, at which point I began pursuit. After a brief chase I encountered a jumphole, that he had entered. The exact location and coordinates are attached below. I followed the target, entering a nomadic system, filled with nomad-type ships and a huge nomad node. This system is clearly under their control. I advice it's inmediate removal, as it lacks any way shape or form of defense, as I easily pursued the enemy with rare interruptions from nomad fighters. In the end, the infectee "Leopard" escaped cloaking. Today I am writing this report on the events that took place in Cambridge and as well as Omega-3. Earlier in the day, Commander William Sutton and Lt. Commander Paul McKinley were in the Cambridge sector, and I heard the report from Cardiff that they were confronting a Gaian pilot with the name Richard Chapman. I came from Manchester then to New London, and down to Cambridge to see what the fuss was about. I saw them all by the trade lane, conversing. Usual Gaian pleas to try to get off Scott-free with their crimes. As usual. Then he runs. Fast. Down the lane to Cardiff before we could catch him. Lt.Cmdr McKinley decided to leave at this point, figuring we could take him out. Chapman lead us all the way 90k's above the usual plane of the system, behind the Grasmere Ice Field when we finally got to him. Commander Sutton and I engaged, and Commander Sutton's ship was destroyed. After this, rage went through me and I destroyed Chapman, this being my first kill of my career. Then I got a call from the Rheinland Military on the Secure Channel that they needed help against Mollies and Red Hessian forces in the Omega-3 system. I tractor beamed Commander Sutton in his escape pod into my hold and flew to Cambridge. I got my ship repaired and got bandaged up from the brawl. He was sent to the medical facility. As soon as I moved in to Omega-3, I saw the contacts on the radar. I moved in and fighting continued for a long while before another pilot came. A Molly pilot, under the name of "Johnnie Kamikaze." I broke off my attack from the main group and charged him, fueled with more rage. I fought him for quite some time, despite the Rheinland Military losing and getting routed. I was the only one left, and they were going at me with one man at a time. I took him out, but another Hessian pilot moved in, destroyed my ship, and left me for dead in the cold space. A repair ship came by and picked me up and I was treated on New London. I am well now, but still a little shaken after seeing all of this. Hope you are all well! RE: Bretonian Armed Forces Defense Intelligence Staff (DIS) (iRP) (AO) - TheSauron - 08-13-2016 ![]() Message Class: Textual Encryption: Medium Priority: Medium To: BAF DIS From: Lieutenant Commander Paul McKinley Location: HMS Norfolk, Cambridge System Sup. Lieutenant Commander McKinley is back on duty after a shore leave forced upon me by the hull of the HMS Dauntless. Not that I mind. In any case, after the battleship rammed me into oblivion I found myself in a blessed state of unconsciousness. It took me a while before I managed to crawl my way back to the living. Once I did so, however, I for some reason found myself on Yaren. Don't ask, I have no idea how did that happen. Also, thanks to the fleet for scooping me up, I guess? Anyway, since the Dauntless tore my engines off, I had to fetch a replacement. The Core had no PTE engines, so I had to settle on HN propulsion. Once these got welded to my ship and I were done with enjoying my time in the bar, I departed the outpost to find my way home. The first thing I saw was a trash can named "PRIME|Delta". It tried to question me about stuff, but I had no mood to talk with microwave ovens and shooed it away. Well, the Core battleship did that before I managed to turn my shooing intentions into actual deeds. The can fled to the nearby Freeport. The battleship's captain didn't seem too content with the can's docking on Freeport 11. I nevertheless attempted to establish some form of a chat. That was a futile course of action, to say at least. Good for me, the ship's comms officer, or I think it was a comms officer, displayed a marvelous advantage of IQ points over his superior, as well as a notable inability to pronounce "h". I briefly explained my situation to the guy and he generously offered to give me directions. I was first led into a system labelled as "Omicron Kappa". it was full of hella weird nebulas and seemed to be located in a tunnel of sorts. There was also an outpost transmitting ugly words towards my ship. I think it belonged to the Corsairs. Once we crossed a small part of the system, we arrived at a jumphole that supposedly led to "Omicron Gamma". Lovely, isn't it? The comms officer gave me last directions how to cross that hellhole and the battleship departed, with a loud "honhonhon" flooding the local comm channel. Devoid of options I took the jumphole and found myself in yet another nebula. This one, instead of being blue-green, was just green. The system was surprisingly empty and, after passing by another cursing outpost, I arrived in a small outcropping of the Walker nebula. The Omega-41 was right where Honhon said it will be. There were two weapon platforms guarding it, but they were no match for a Paladin. Now this place was a real hellhole. You can feel the radiation chewing through the ship's hull there. I did not loiter around the area and swiftly passed by a yet another cursing outpost. After that, only an old and loose minefield stood between me and Omega-5. The 41, just like Gamma, was devoid of any hostile vessels. Omega 5 was as desolate as any other system I went through. Nothing remarkable to be reported here. The travel through Omega-3 and the Cambridge was calm and devoid of any obstacles. I arrived on Norfolk alive and well. The encounter with the Gaian was described well enough in ensign Cuttingham's report. That is all. HN propulsion. Core battleship. Omicron Kappa. Omicron Gamma. Disabling the weapon platforms. Omega-41. Jumping into Omega-3. Arrival at Norfolk. Rank Changes:
Ensign Sid Fire has been promoted to Lieutenant. You can follow orders well and make a stand. Do continue improving. Lieutenant Henry Talbot has been promoted to Lieutenant-Commander. Do continue saving our pilots in impossible situations. Ensign Arthur Cuttingham has been promoted to Lieutenant. Your service has been exemplary, but you need more hours in the simulator. Lieutenant-Commander Paul McKinley has been promoted to Commander. Your performance in the Omicron Major mission was reported as outstanding. It is good to have you back. You may request command over the available Crecy-class, the Isaac Brock. Commodore Jacob McIntire has been promoted to Admiral. There might be new opportunities waiting for you, as well as new responsibilities. Additionally, you are advised to practice Molly speech, which you might need, as you are commanding the Essex Fleet. Do not overdo with whiskey. Commander Nicole Brennan has been promoted to Captain. A certain member of the Admiralty was pleased when you saved them from a number of hungry Corsair mouths. You have clearance to evict the self-proclaimed capable loon currently commanding the Enterprise, if he does not leave himself within the given time, and take up the command yourself. The Admiralty hope that your experience will make you a better captain. Carina, Regina, Imperatrix! Admiralty Board RE: Bretonian Armed Forces Defense Intelligence Staff (DIS) (iRP) (AO) - QuestionZ2 - 08-17-2016 Greetings! I am here to report the recent incident of the victory of BAF that took place in the Cambridge system. A certain gaian named Richard Chapman flying an "Anaconda" class Very Heavy Fighter ship was spotted in the Cambridge system by Lieutenant Sid Fire who immediately tracked down his exact location and engaged with him in an conversation to inquire his purpose. The gaian didn't make any decent responses, bluntly saying that he was "waiting for a friend". On the premise that he will leave the system once this friend arrives, the Lieutenant waited with him in the sector E4 of the system. Mere minutes before the time that the two of them had agreed upon came to pass I entered the system in my "Paladin" class Heavy Fighter after finishing a regular scout duty of the Omega 3 jump gate. Shots started being exchanged as more than enough duration passed and thing seemed suspicious. The Lieutenant engaged the gaian in full force using his "Templar" class VHF and drove him into a corner but somehow the gaian got lucky and busted his hull while the shields were down, suffering a massive amount of damage himself. I quickly tractored in his escape pod before engaging the gaian who had by now managed to recover his shields. The gaian seemed skillful and managed to drain my shield in a single pass while jousting when I could barely scratch his. This seemed to have gained him a sense of superiority and overconfidence as he tried to make the next pass in a completely straight line. Now this was easy for even me to aim at so I shot at him as much as I could and left a starkiller torpedo for him as he passed me. When I turned to see, his ship was flying in pieces. I was still thrilled and even more shocked but I flew straight for the Battleship Norfolk to have a look at the Lieutenant. Kill confirmation. The system Cambridge was peaceful once again. End of report. Charles XII Victor. Ensign. Bretonia Armed Forces. RE: Bretonian Armed Forces Defense Intelligence Staff (DIS) (iRP) (AO) - ASimpleMan - 08-18-2016 Good day BAF DIS, Hello gents! I am here to report the little scuffle there in the Cardiff Asteroid Field. So this man; persistent, named Richard Chapman, had been moving around Cambridge trying to catch traders in the system. He pleads otherwise but so be it. Anyways, I confronted him on his actions and then we attacked each other. I ended up taking him out and moved back to New London. This Gaian problem seems to be getting worse. I fear they may be planning something and that is why they have gotten more audacious in the past month. Anyways, have a good day! RE: Bretonian Armed Forces Defense Intelligence Staff (DIS) (iRP) (AO) - Kanzler Niemann - 08-25-2016 ![]() Message Class: Textual Encryption: Medium Priority: Very High To: BAF DIS From: Lieutenant Commander Henry Talbot Location: HMS Norfolk, Cambridge System Greetings everyone, today we had a situation within Omega-3, we had several Gaian Guardian ships inbound, who attacked one of our "Invincible"-class Carriers. Bretonia Police Authority Officer Thomas Waters called for assistance, so I made all the way down from Dublin to Omega-3 to assist him. Arriving at Freeport 1 I saw few Gaian ships, ready to engage the Officer and our Carrier. The Gaian's gave up to negotiate with the BPA Officer and turned to me. After a few words, they have proposed a deal, the deal was to guarantee a safe path out of Bretonia. BPA Officer Thomas Waters also mentioned to pay a fine for the attack on our Carrier, which was a fine about 8.000.000 sirian credits. I managed to retune their opinion and they paid the fine to BPA Officer Thomwas Waters. Meanwhile I was talking with the Gaians two Battlegroup Auxesia vessels appeared, anyways I managed to deal with the situation without unnecessary bloodshed and slaughtery. Most Gaians left into Cambridge with course to Omega-5 jumphole, except Gaian essel Holly, which I escorted to Torshavn Space Port. The payment was received by Bretoia Police Authority Officer Thomas Waters. Code: [25.08.2016 17:27:13] HMS-Warhammer: Sir. I have a problem with gaians in O3 Attachments: Scans and Ships.
