Ian Desari 2. Tau 23 Niobium field 3.Employee hired: Daniel.Plainview (mining+ security Mafic), ICMG|Scoria (presence) 4. Absolutely none 5. None Mr. Plainview offered his service near Java. I hired him to completely fill the ''Serene-Tycoon'' Stork class transport. Every time he successfully he helped in filling the ''Hegemon'' miner I gave him 5 millions SC. We have Been mining near ICGM|Scoria. No threat interrupted our operations. somehow the situation is improving in the taus. 20 % of the ore selling profit has been paid to Daniel for his hand. The ore manufactured is located in a secure transport facility and is ready to haul. I must say the defense division might have exaggerated the system status. *****GuildComm Deactivated***** Independent Miners Guild Comm System (GuildComm) - hypermauler - 08-19-2010 *****GuildComm Activated***** TO: Hauling team. We did have some extra travel time because of this. I must thank Challenger for his service, he is a potential recruit for the guild. His papers can be found at the recruitment office. Thats pretty much all for now. Statistics: Escort well paid (over 10 SC millions) , 15.000 +Ore hauled,. [color=#000000]Recipients Defense members. Subject: Defense wing orders. All Defense Members are to read and obey the following directive. Forbidden spaces: Omicron Alpha. All space beyond "Languedoc" The prohibited areas outlined above are too hazardous to properly patrol or explore due to hostile parties in said systems. travel through them is prohibited without the explicit approval of a directer. Hostile parties. Hostile groups, namely the outcasts, are to be destroyed if possible, providing that a hostile engagement does not jeopardize guild assets. The +LE+ are to be left alone unless they are actively pirating IMG vessels. The Golden Chrysanthemums are to be viewed as unfriendly in tau space, and treated as outcasts in ships larger then a fighter, or when assisting outcast pilots. Remember, Ships are expensive, and pilots - yourselves- are hard to replace, keep that in mind when defending guild resources. avoid unneeded damages, and risks. Use the localized obstacles to your advantage, the outcasts often have more ships at their disposal and are more then willing to take whatever advantage they can get, do not allow them to while dogfighting. Salutations distinguées--Location: --Rig1203/Tempestas; Tau-23-- --Sender ID: --Chief Engineer Gaetan Molière -- --Subject: -- Crate of toys -- Turns out a couple old fleet folks are being discharged. Retirement, wounds, just about every reason imaginable. Would be such a waste if they were to hit the mercenary market... I called in a few favors and laid my hands on a few prematurely junked fighters, a bomber and an H-boot. Took the liberty of putting some guild warpaint on them all... They all crewed and good to go wherever you wantem. Mining team of the taus-barrier FROM: John Carsten, piloting Calora Gold, IMG ore barge RE: Transport team report 1. Names and vessel type: Calora Gold, Heavy Tanker; NorthernWind, Atlas class. 2. Route taken : Tau Sector to Planet New-Berlin , Rheinland (Jumphole to NB). 3. Cargo carried : Niobium ore, produced by the guild. 4. Escorts hired: BH~Perun (Core Gunboat), "Instant" - Freelancer fighter. 5. Hostiles encountered: None in transit. Continuous ion storms plagued this journey and the mining operation in advance of it. Still, the mining operations do not seem to suffer as severe from the ion winds as the engines and targeting sensors do. The mining operation prior to our departure saw the occasional curious Outcast, but the presence of both fighter and gunboat escort proved sufficient deterrence for them to turn away. No pursuit was ordered. The journey to New Berlin proceeded without incident, with only the ion storms slowing us down on occasion. Statistics: Escort well paid (4M to our fighter, 7M to the BHG who were later joined by a second gunboat) Just shy of 10000 ore hauled. Return trip was incomplete due to severe ion storms, we were forced to make berth at Honshu. Special note: The BHG Core gunboats were very proficient scouts and escorts. I would recommend hiring them again for this task, should IMG defense units be unavailable. Sidenote: A previous trip saw our mining vessel fined for attempting to export Optronics to our shipyard at Jakarta. I spoke at length with the authorities involved, and we could acquire a license for our entire IMG| guild to be sanctioned to carry most of these goods (Optronics, Nuclear devices, Quantum Capacitors etc) for 125M. A guildwide license could be useful should we need to supply either Singapore or Jakarta with Optronics, Engine Components or likewise materials. It would also be useful for supplying Nuclear Devices back to Java for use in our mining operations (a rather profitable venture if I might add). I would encourage our trade director to consult with Kusari police authorities on such, since Zed too has been fined for carrying goods to be considered illegal, namely MOX. *****GuildComm Deactivated***** Independent Miners Guild Comm System (GuildComm) - AeternusDoleo - 08-26-2010 *****GuildComm Activated***** 1. Name and vessel type: 'Tau Sentinel', Hydra Class 2. Area of operation: Tau 23 , Tau 37, large convoy escort 3. Mission: Maiden voyage/shakedown cruise. 4. Hostiles encountered: Junker smuggling transport. 5. Casualties on both sides: Said junker John Sanders reporting, commanding the new IMG Hydra class gunboat "Tau Sentinel". As a former British Armed Forces recruit chief Erynel felt me better suited for the role then himself. Or, to put it in his words, he "hates them bloody warships". Regardless, with some final parts brought from Liberty space she is finally ready for service. Our maiden voyage was an eventful one, to say the least. We set out with our vessel from her berth at Jakarta, to test basic flight systems, tune her engines, and adjust her targeting systems. The yard did a fine job, but final modifications are always best done in service. While enroute to Java we encountered another Hydra, the gunboat "Serene Freedom". She had stopped a junker smuggler loaded with Cardamine. I asked if they needed assistance, and was asked to remain. After a brief, and somewhat confusing conversation the smuggler was told to drop the Cardamine and leave the area unharmed. He tried to leave without dropping the drugs, and despite numerous warnings, attempted to evade. We were forced to destroy the transport, and the cardamine was burned along with it. After this and some rather gruff commentary from said junker from his pod (which I subsequently used to tune our comm system, especially volume moderation and muting) we headed back to Jakarta for some final modifications. The Serene Freedom then engaged in a friendly spar with us to give our weapons and shield systems a proper test. She passed, 'though her crew is definately in need of additional training. For now she is moored at Jakarta base with instructions to assist in it's defense and ward the mining grounds against pirates. We carry explicit orders not to pursue any harassers beyond the Freeport 10-Tau 37 sun line (about midsystem), or within 7.5 K of Cali should the enemy disengage and flee there. Her only reason for ever leaving the Tau systems should be convoy escort, or explicit orders from IMG defense command. *****GuildComm Deactivated***** Independent Miners Guild Comm System (GuildComm) - The.Outlaw.Star - 08-30-2010 ***Incoming Transmission***
Well just another day in the life of a miner. The tears and the sweat all make it worth it at the end of the day when i get that fat pay check. There are many things i love about these people; their hard work, determination, their will to be Independent, and the honesty of the men and women who risk their lives to fuel Siruis with the products to build and grow. From: Melfina Korzic ID: IMG defense pilot Subject: A day in the Life Looking back to my basic training a remember a few things that inspired me. This is from the official IMG archives --> Quote:We are IMG. We are free. And we shall go on being free. I think we all should read this and remember who we are and why we are here. It bothers me to see us so aggressive to our enemies when they pose no threat to our business (at times). We are the ones who seem to be provoking the constant attacks on our people and maybe if we just sit back and look at things from a different view we can see why. So my advice is too sit back and worry about US and not get aggressive until we are the ones taking fire first. We are miners not a military and if others see us becoming a military threat then of future looks grim.

Additional earnings for labor: 10M The Carsten Miller crew is in agreement with this directive. We are dedicated, hard laborers who are willing to work for our wage. We do not steal, we do not pillage, we do not attack. But those who would do us harm, corporate and blackguard alike, should know that 'though we are miners, we do have teeth. Mining team of the taus-barrier FROM: Ian Desari, RE: Mining/Transport team report 1. Names and vessel type: Serene-Tyccon advanced train, Mamma's profit Behemot 2. Route taken : Tau Sector to Planet New-Berlin , Rheinland (Jumpgate to NB). 3. Cargo carried : Niobium ore, produced by the guild. 4. Escorts hired:a unexperienced zoner piloting an un-licensed nyx, from sigma 13. 5. Hostiles encountered: One GC Pirate-transport in tau 23, possible hogosha in new tokyo, corsair gunboat in Frankfurt Statistics: Escort paid , 8000 ore transported, with around 100 millions of profit. No casualties Comments: I first encountered [GC]Inari approaching Java with a pirate transport. I was initially anxious about it, but I found out afterward that she was willing to sell some Niobium ore. Of course this ore was under the possession of the Hogosha... but thats all I know. 15 millions for 3000 crate of our ore sounded reasonable. Then with the help of the mining team dispatched in the tau23 rich fields, we filled our cargo hold. I did know the GC was still around but there was nothing to worry. I know for sure that some worker out there were not equally confident. Too bad I guess! A bit later in New Tokyo, we received an unknown signal with a distress pastern. We did know chance were Hogosha were controlling Tokyo sphere's orbit sector. We simply took a long trip around passing by Narita outpost instead. In Honshu we were asked for a cargo Scan From[KNF]Kafka.Tamura. After some successful formalities, the officer told us the way was safe.... well maybe not. In sigma-13 Crown Nebula, we encountered a significant group of our miners mostly. Carsten Miller was among them and told us about a potential danger at the Frankfurt gate nearby. We also hired that zoner at Helgoland. Hopefully 2 rheinland fighters went straight on the corsair vessel reported by the group we encountered. In Frankfurt, we simply made our way to Berlin with ease. The mamma's profit stayed In rheinland while I went back home. On the way I saw the corsair vessel, it was a gunboat.. yea these aren't the one we are used to see in the barrier. For some reason I knew the fight went badly for the rheinlander. Thats all dear guild. *****GuildComm Deactivated***** |
