Benitez Secure Comm Channel - Coin - 11-22-2010 Comm ID: Pavlos Benitez Location: Skiros station Message: There appears to be some static in this channel. I will transmit, and if anything is garbled, let me know. Whilst on patrol by Skiros station, I received a long range transmission from a ship with the call sign 'The.Old.One', claiming to have some pilots in his hold.I flew out to Theta, and met him 20 klicks above the freeport. I scanned his cargo for the pilots, and they were confirmed. I enabled chatlog recordings: he passed a pilot over to me, and thoughtfully provided some food. He then became very anxious that a fleet of capital ships was not on the way: Of course, I was exploring ALL options of how to repatriate our hermanos, but was unwilling to initiate violence: the pilot that was returned to me indicated that the pilots were packed in like sardines, and any intense barrage would result in a high casualty rate. I called on Ronaldo Benitez, who raised a cruiser-full of prisoners that were once shining exemplars of Outcast pilots (read: they got shot down, captured and forced to work for a change). The Chybilis stood off at 4 klicks, and Ronaldo ferried the prisoners back and forth until the transfer was complete. The dirty outcast also charged 1 Million credits for the food. You just cannot trust some people these days. Later i encountered a nephthys by the name of Goran_Cro sitting in orbit of Crete whilst patrolling with a Brotherhood compadre: I told him several times that that ship was not acceptable in Corsair-Controlled space, and generally disparaged Order-Engineering. He questioned this, saying that the Nephthys was the best ship in the whole of Sirius. I invited Werss[TBH] to demonstrate the invincibility of the Titan in combat, whereupon Goran_cro fired upon me without warning or provocation, removing my shield and 3/4 of my hull in one hit. Battle was joined, and I regret to inform that the previous encounter with the rescue of our compadres had used up all available storage in my guncam; i only have this image: Werss and I discussed that he was probably a Bounty Hunter disguised as an Order-Pilot, in order to invoke increasing hostilities between us. I noted that Goran_Cro returned to the system, but was unable to locate him. I suggest a system-wide search for this Cabron, followed by a lengthy interrogation, where he is strung up, pinata-style. I was scrambled from the mess hall - no big deal, i never know what Ron puts in those sausages anyway - and found myself part of a huge Corsair armada heading into Theta; apparently some uppity Omicroner had creatively interpreted the meaning of 'Neutral'. Again. By the time I reached the RV the situation was well in hand; I saw the last of the Omicroner turning tail and scuttling back into the hole they call 74. The Aurora undocked from FP9, and had a message for Selena; the wines have been procured, and the tobacco shipments are on their way. I headed back to Gamma, where I encountered one Barron_rouge, a Freelancer in a Mjolnir. Apparently, he was suffering from some deficiency in his comm's systems, for it took several CD's for him to deign to notice my polite questioning of his intentions in Gamma. He finally replied that he was headed 'To find Nomads'. I replied that his presence in the Corsair Empire was undesirable, as his ship and weapons indicated that he was friendly with our enemies, but he refused to stop, and entered Kappa. I followed him in, and informed him that he had signed his own death warrant, and engaged him. Our fight drew the attention of two nomad patrols, as well as another Freelancer in a Mjolnir, Tycho; he ambushcaded me without a word, and before I knew it, I was facing ten hostiles alone. Fortunately, I was still in Group Comm's with Aaron, and he came charging to the rescue; now that the fight was more even, Aaron dealt swift justice to the ambusher, and we turned our attentions to Barron_Rouge, only to find that he had abandoned his plan of finding nomads, and also abandoned his friend to his untimely explosive decompression; I am not certain that the fight would have been so short if Aaron and I did not have superiority of numbers. Barron_Rouge and Tycho should be considered as hostile; they fly Mjolnirs, not honest Titans, and they both have shown themselves to be completely without honour: Tycho for the silent ambush, and Barron for leaving his friend to die. Alone. Recommend that should friendly or allied shipping encounter either of these two vessels, they should be escorted back out of Corsair space. By force if necessary. I have docked at Tripoli for extensive repairs to my Titan, and as a precaution; Having encountered nomads in Kappa, I thought it best to limit the risk by docking at the smaller station, rather than returning to Crete. Pavlos. Benitez Secure Comm Channel - Coin - 12-06-2010 Comm ID: Pavlos Benitez Location: Tripoli Shipyard Message: Tactical analysis of Freeport 9. Preamble:
This analysis is a precis of the situation in theta. The conclusions are my own, and should be regarded as [color=#FF0000]Highly Secret. Introduction:
The Benitez aren't on the stage in this little drama, we are more off in the wings rather than in the front row or the peanut gallery. If this does not reach a peaceful conclusion, then we will be pulled in, to our detriment: We are on the brink of a horrible catastrophe that will only strengthen our enemies whilst we become weaker; for all our sabre-rattling against these puny FP9ers, we stand to lose much more. Even if they Omicroners win, which is extremely unlikely, they will find the taste of victory bitter. But for the Corsair Empire, it will be as ashes. Current Situation:
Gamma is forced like a wedge between their positions in Theta and O41. Corsairs can flank them in Omicron 74 via Omicron Kappa. Omega 41 is caught between the pincer movement of Omega 5 and Omega 47, which also threatens Omega 49 and the jewel in the Zoner crown - Gran Canaria. Gamma is populated by gun-hungry trigger-happy Titan pilots, who can destroy a fleet of 10 Outcast capitals in less than 20 minutes, and they can call for re-inforcements from Cadiz, the Fes, Etna... etc. We can counter-attack in multiple places at once a foe who had to relinquish Pennsylvania - the tranquil kindergarten of Sirius - and who would now lay claim to Theta, the most battle-scarred, war weary system, witness to the relentless struggle of the Corsair Empire against Outcast treachery since time out of mind. Outcome 1. Corsair Victory, FP9 and Corfu transferred into Corsair control, Omicroners pushed back into Omicron 74.
Corsair ConsequencesThis means that the battlefront with the outcasts is that much closer. Our borders will expand, and our empire increases. History tells us that as an Empire increases in size, so does it hasten its' downfall. Our larger empire spreads our forces thin, and this opens up the back door to the Hessians and Mollies from the Omegas and opens up a new battlefront with the GMG via sigma 17. Pyrrhic victory indeed. Omicroner Consequences The loss of FP9 merely confirms to the rest of Sirius the puniness of the Omicroners. Outcome 2. Corsair defeat.
Corsair ConsequencesMollies and Hessians would press us ever harder, like circling vultures. The increase in aggression suffered by the Corsair empire would be more or less permanent, as our standing would be eroded as we had lost to the 'puny' Omicroners. Omicroner Consequences The Omicroners retain FP9, but they cannot press into Gamma. Their standing is increased, and they are no longer seen as 'puny'. However, they will have opened Pandora's box by stepping away from their neutral-defensive posture, and will have gained a powerful enemy well-versed in piracy, right on their doorstep: the supply of Freeport 9 and Omicron 74 and all traffic would have to come through Sigma 17, or the more risky route through Minor/Delta/Kappa. It becomes 'open-season' on all Omicroner transports, who have until now, enjoyed relative immunity from Corsair predation. Our Allies would also see them as legitimate targets, and the response to zoner 'foreign policy' that was a previously-accepted 'irritant' would be disproportionate. Pyrrhic victory again. Outcome 3. Stalemate
Corsair ConsequencesFor the Corsair Empire to be held off by a foe as puny as the Omicroners, our standing would be seriously affected, and we would suffer from increased aggression from our enemies, but as we have to maintain an increased presence in Theta, the Outcasts, and to a lesser extent the GMG, have less distance to travel for a raid, and blitzkrieg is the order of the day. Omicroner Consequences The Omicroners, whilst needing an outright victory to increase their standing, lose their shield of neutrality, and are suddenly seen by those that harbour a zoner base in their backyards as the threat they never saw before; this occurs against a backdrop of decrease revenues, and they dwindle in power and hegemony, never to return. Suggestion:
Omicroners accept Corsair territorial claims, and, in return for renting the system for a 'peppercorn rent', they forbid non-zoner aligned combat ships from Theta, and back this up with firepower. FP9 remains a true freeport, and the Corsairs respect the zoner leasing of Theta, and like an absentee landlord, keep their noses out of Omicroner business. Pavlos Benitez Benitez Secure Comm Channel - Selena_Benitez - 12-07-2010 Comm ID: Selena Benitez Location: Crete, Omicron Gamma Today I was joined in my Gamma patrols with Leon and Don Carlos, and it wasn't long before trouble found us! Reports of an Outcast in the area were soon confirmed. One of the Reaper variety - homicidal tendencies hidden behind a lot of waffle about universal peace and love. It wasn't long until we tracked him down, and for a while we put up with his incoherent philosophies about life. Aaron and Jose soon joined us, by which point it was clear the only way were gettting this Outcast to leave was through some old-fashioned Salamanca diplomacy. Aaron volunteered to take on the Senor Genesis in honourable single combat. With the duel well underway, we were informed about a Bounty Hunter battlecruisier that was parading about Gamma. Leon, Jose and myself left to deal with the threat, leaving Aaron and the Oucast to fight under the watchful eye of Carlos. The Hunter fled to Omega-41, with the Brotherhood gunboat Tinky in hot pursuit. Leon and Jose were not far behind, and I headed to Theta in order to cut off another avenue of the idiota's escape. In Theta I enlisted the help of a passing cruiser - our three Titans were not particularly well-equipped to deal with this threat. Our foe made an attempt to lose us in Omega-15, but it seems the captain was inexperienced as even with a sizable head start on us we were able to catch up. Destroying the ship was the work of seconds, and in the end the assistance of the Praefect Matiz was not required at all. We returned home, where we soon learned that Aaron had also been victorious. When will our enemies learn that to come to Gamma is to die... Selena Benitez Benitez Secure Comm Channel - AeternusDoleo - 12-07-2010 Comm ID: Devante Benitez Location: Generic transport "Toro", somewhere in Omicron Theta space. Subject: Re: Theta sector analysis. Hermano, your analysis is on the money, but incomplete. Option 4 is missing. Option 4: Scorched Earth. Complete obliteration of the Zoner installations in Theta, rendering the system devoid of habitation. Corsair consequences: No Zoner inhabitation of Theta space so their claim is voided. No loss of reputation on our part - it would be a firm example of what happens to people who choose to become our enemies. Without bases to dock on, any forces wishing to raid Gamma from the northern Omicrons would need to extend their supply line - This includes Order and Outcast forces mainly. Omicroner consequences: Once we force them out of Theta, they'll have little choice but to admit defeat. We have no interest in Omicron 74, and if they so choose they can stay bottled up in there - indefinately. Wether or not they will be able to be supplied properly would depend on their stance with us - if they continue to act agressively their transports would do well to stay out of Theta. If they return to a more passive stance well, their transports would be as any other - passing with a small taxation. My suggestion in this would not be to make an example out of the freeport itself, but the smaller Corfu base. The Zoners have reinforced the freeport, but a show of force against that minor base would probably suffice to show them how hopeless their position is. Don't take it - just burn it down to the last bulkhead. And take no prisoners. Benitez Secure Comm Channel - Coldzero - 01-18-2011 ***Incoming Transmission***

They are in the Archive I have just sent and I am sorry that it has taken so long for me to do this report since a great deal of things were happening. There were sights of SCRA in Omicron Theta as I was making my way to Omicron Eta though I have no idea what they were doing there. The Archive contains evidence of this. In Omicron Eta, there was a huge wall of mines blocking me from going straight. Most people would go around or under/over said wall. I took the time to look for a gap and found it with relative ease and proceeded forward through said gap. This gap was shown to me by Zavier Benitez. Most of us should use this to our advantage when attacking. Be cautious however because if you make a wrong move, your ship will be ripped apart by the mines. On my way towards Omicron Alpha's jumphole, I did encounter a capital ships...however their aim needs a lot of work to be able to hit me. There was a base in front of the jumphole but I didn't record it. I deemed it to not be of any importance. I jumped to Alpha and began scanning my surroundings by the jumphole. I found a Jumphole to Omicron-85 and Omicron-90. Around Omicron-90's jumphole seemed to be a graveyard of sorts only consisting of Outcast vessels. Must've been some kind of ambush gone wrong. I made my way towards the planets of Alpha and recorded data on them. I even managed to get to the wreck of The Hispania. Flying around Alpha wasn't as difficult as some of the other pilots have said, especially when their destroyers tried to shoot me down. Petty I lost a good photo of me dodging a Battle Razor shot. Anon-the-less, the mission was successful. I played a little dangerously and recorded some statistics of Planet Malta and Valetta Shipyard. Fortunately for me that Outcasts are a little mentally challenged since they only discovered my presence when I was leaving for Tinos Outpost. This is all I have to report. If at anytime you need more information about our enemies, I'll gladly go scout their system. Aaron a cabo. (Aaron out) ***Transmission Terminated***
Benitez Secure Comm Channel - ProfGiggles - 01-20-2011 Comm ID: Leon Benitez. Location: Planet Crete. Message: Flight log. After today's rather boring and uneventful patrol, I was hungry for some action. So I decided to go to Dublin and pirate a few miners and perhaps shoot up a few easy targets. I was intending to go solo, but I happened to meet Paco in Omega-41. We were just greeting each other, when a SCRA fighter jumped out of nowhere. We chased him around the whole system, and took quite a bit of damage from the heavy radiation, before Paco finally managed to disrupt his engines. Juanito showed up in scanner range, and I was just getting myself ready to take on the SCRA fighter, when a nearby mine that must have strayed a bit away from the minefield, collided with an asteroid and exploded. The SCRA pilot seized the opportunity to jump to Omega-5 and get away. We docked and restocked at Cadiz and then made our way to Dublin. I already knew that there would be something going on in Dublin, but there was more going on there than I had expected. Comms chatter from the BAF and the BMM miners told us that the indians - a group I personally don't know much about, other than they are criminals in bretonia, and that we have helped each other out once in a while - were also in the area. We scouted the system looking for targets, and we soon found one of those, I had especially hoped to take down once and for all. A bretonian gunboat named The Aurore. While we engaged it the indians popped up all around us. Sadly The Aurore should happen to be the second target that got away from us today. It managed to take cover near the Essex, before we could finish the job. While the bretonians was gathering around the Essex, six red contacts suddenly showed up on my scanner. The SCRA had arrived at the scene... When they were close enough, the SCRA ships engaged the indian ships. Juanito, Paco and I engaged the SCRA ships to assist the indians, and a chaotic battle ensued. The first to go down was the indian gunboat. It seems that we were their primary targets, once the gunboat was down. First Paco's ship exploded, and then Juanito's too soon after. The battle went on for a long time, While I slowly took more and more damage. We had just managed to destroy one of their ships, when someone scored a direct hit on my left wing and blew it off. A minute later my right wing also took a direct hit and disappeard in a ball of fire and smoke, igniting the rest of my ship. I quickly ejected from the burning wreck, and watched as a third salvo hit it, which caused whatever was left of it to explode. That is all I have to report for now. Leon out. I cannot remember the day but Outcasts had decided to come invade Omicron Gamma. Before anything did happen, they had retreated back to Omicron Alpha. Leon decided that the bombers were to lead in and capital ships to follow after. While traveling to Alpha, there was a Sabre called Harmless who waited a while before 'Escorting' Our fleet. We all flew to Planet Malta and noticed they had more fighters than Capital ships than we hoped for. Non the less...a stupid Outcast got a gift from me.. and was the first Outcast fighter to go down. After that, I noticed a 101st pilot called Benito.. I intercepted him in my bomber and did a great amount of damage to his ship before I had to retreat. I had him plus one of his friends shooting my ship up..and he is pretty good with a Mini-Razor As I was retreating, my systems registered that I had taken down a target by the name of -Nero-- though I have reason to believe it was Ion storm interference. A few days later...we had organised to go raid Dublin. I do not remember how much we had made that day but before I was in Dublin, we were visited by a Bounty Hunter. Since I do not like them, I told the others that I will deal with him. During the fight however, I started suffering from Ion Storm interference again and my visuals made as if the Hunter could...disappear from one place and instantly appear at the next. He began to run when I scored fatal hits on his hull and the Ion Storm was working in his favour. Just before he docked on the Freeport, I managed to destroy him. This is all I have to report for now. Aaron a cabo. (Aaron out) ***End of Transmission***
