From the Desk of Mr. Walter Park Mr. Carter: Excellent work once again. Doe Industries Space Port's demand for vital supplies has been increasing with its heightened activity and the station crew appreciate all the shipments brought in by our Logistics transports.
Please stand by, as we may have some very specific shipments for you to haul out very soon. Seeing as you're the first senior Logistics member aboard the station, you'll be receiving priority in selecting your assignment. We will be contacting you via a more private channel shortly. * * * * Ms. Fargo,: Glad to hear the Tech-413 is up and running. Reports from our personnel department indicated you completed your certification - although we received a full evaluation from your instructors, we'd like to know what you thought of the course. On behalf of all of us at Deep Space Engineering, we wish you a hearty congratulations and wish to offer a drink at the Space Port bar on us. Enjoy yourself, because tonight the endless engineering simulators end and the real thing begins.

:::Sender: Mark Tres::: :::Location: Doe Industries Space Port::: :::Encryption: Corporate Clearance::: Hola amigos! Ah, it's been a while, si? Things continue to operate smoothly for me, I'm glad to say! I don't even recall running into an hombre since the last time! Truely these are good times! Of note I am glad to report that our relationship with our Platinum, Inc. friends continue to pan out well for us! I was able to help unload 15,000 units of ore from their facility a few days ago, and I even helped out a bit with their new Rutherford Station facility by dropping off a load of Ship Hull Panels. While they seem to have things well in hand, perhaps we could offer our services to them on a more formal basis? We've done well enough together so far! I've also managed to help out with our own Doe Industries Space Port on the occassions I've been in Liberty. My most recent delivery included 40 hours worth of crew basics and 20,400 units of Basic Alloy for upkeep. I saw a good level of generosity for the Basic Alloy from the dockmaster as well! It's good to see this! Oh, and the cafeteria finally has decent tacos, which makes it doubly good! I brought the ship over to find that there was indeed a coolant leak. When I took a closer look, I saw that a micrometeorite storm had opened a hole in the primary coolant line and left the entire system for that particular module in danger of rupturing. Jack sighs as she opens a ring binder marked 'ONOEZ Directives Q2 819'. So, in accordance with ONOEZ Directive #561549684136548, I had to do a complete overhall of the base's entire thermoregulation system, which involved bringing in several crates of Basic Alloy. A wireframe image of the revamped thermoregulation system appears in the corner of the screen. I assure you that the new system is in full working order- and, if you would care to examine the report made by DISP Ops Chief Nelson, has boosted the main computer's efficiency by 2.6 per cent. From the Desk of Mr. Walter Park Mr. Tres: Good to hear from you again. First off, we are glad to hear that you are enjoying the new meal offerings aboard Doe Industries Space Port. Having sampled them myself, I can testify that they're top of the line. We spared no expense.
On the topic of Platinum Incorporated in Alberta, your continued service in the system has been duly noted and the board has decided to extend a promotion to the rank of Skipper, as well as the position of "Corporate Liason for Alberta Operations". You will be appropriately compensated and assigned an office aboard Camrose Supply Depot in order to work more closely with Platinum and their two facilities. Please let us know what you think of the offer. * * * * Ms. Fargo: This is troubling news. With its proximity to Planet Pittsburgh and the surrounding debris field, I've always had my concerns about micrometeorite strikes and the potential Kessler effect on Doe Industries Space Port. About the thermoregulation system, I'm perusing Chief Nelson's report as we speak and we applaud your initiative and are promoting you to the position of Technician, with all the clearance and responsibility it entails.
Seeing as you're now an active Technician in the region with a ship equipped for the task, we have a potential work assignment for you:
Best of luck with the assignment. Please let us know if you require any assistance before you proceed. Regards, Walter Park President Deep Space Engineering ***END TRANSMISSION***

From the Desk of Mr. Walter Park Mr. Tres: Congratulations on your new assignment. We guarantee that you can expect the same high-quality food as Doe Industries Space Port. Aside from regular shipments of food, you will also be accompanied by a personal small craft escort from Security. You can expect the details on that shortly. We look forward to seeing what you can do out there.
Best wishes, Walter Park President Deep Space Engineering ***END TRANSMISSION***
RE: DSE) Communications channel - stardust47 - 06-15-2013 ::INCOMING TRANSMISSION:: Pilot name: Jack Fargo Rank: Technician Ship name: DSE)Tech-413 Ship type: 'Pelican' armored transport Unit: Repairs Subject: Report for 15/06/819 Apologies for not performing the assignment sooner. The microsensor arrays had to be shipped in from Kusari, and a jump gate malfunction held them up for several days. The arrays have been deployed, and will act as an early warning system for attacks on DISP, whether natural, such as micrometeorite storms, and from pirates. After installing those, I ventured out into the debris field to collect samples. I noticed a lot of pirate activity- I had a narrow escape with a Rogue gunboat and there appears to be a Scylla-class destroyer located deep in the field- apparently at the site of a depot that was destroyed during the so-called 'Nomad War'. I believe this information should be passed to the authorities as soon as possible. On the subject of defense: I am no expert on tactics, but I would reccommend using future installations to create a defensive perimiter around our Pittsburgh operations. :::Sender: Wess Roberts::: :::Location: Camrose Supply Station::: :::Encryption: Corporate Clearance::: Yo. Wess Roberts, DSE Security Wing here. I was part of the transfer with Skipper Tres's group? Yeah, anyway, I'm glad to say that we made it all right. Anyway, I thought I'd report a recent encounter out here. I was looking to scout around while the Platinum guys were doing some work when I received a tip that there might be a Gallic 'bout Alberta. I hopped into my Havoc and took a look around, and behold, a Gallic Junker with Platinum Ore. I managed to stall it long enough for a Liberty Navy pilot to show up, and we made it drop the ore and then we escorted it out. Oddly enough seems he had a brother, which we ran into near the California Gate in Ontario. But, that wasn't all. There was a Scylla there too who was demanding stuff from everyone. Needless to say, that didn't fly with any of us, and we had a throw down over it. In the end we managed to triumph and we still made the Gauls leave. Not too shabby, eh? From the Desk of Mr. Walter Park Ms. Fargo: First off, we're glad to hear you made it back safely. I apologize if the zone I laid out extended too far end you encountered significant risk - it was not my intention. Your survey data has been received and is being processed so the board can make plans for the best course of action. You can expect some compensation for your work and any damage sustained in your credit account the next time you access it.
* * * Mr. Roberts While I it is always worrisome to hear reports of such brazen pirate activity, I'm glad to hear that the Alberta operations have been well coordinated and successful. We could definitely use more security pilots like yourself. Look forward to a bonus in your account for making the lanes that much safer.
* * * Mr. Carter Your work has not gone unnoticed. Since you have submitted the most recorded deliveries this month, and for your general dedication to Deep Space Engineering, we have decided to file for your promotion and a bonus. Congratulations, have a drink on us.

Sorry sir, for the delay in the report. It was a wonderful day to mine! and yes! I was mining in Humboldt with a DSE mate ship named as DSE)Voyager. I filled him and when he left Humboldt a pirate showed up in Bomber and made minor damages to my Ship. In the firing I lost my communication with the entire Universe since my signal receiver and the sender was heavily damaged. Before it got damaged, I informed Saltese about the attack. They fired the Pirate and I docked. My ship is now fully repaired. Yet the signal sending is a bit problem. I'm repairing it and will be ready to do my duty for DSE.
