Merely out of boredom I was looking at the ship model on p3d.in, and noticed a small amount of lack of textures: That protrusion thingie grabbing onto what seems to be comms array antennae pointing backwards on both sides for me, where that thing joins the main body of the ship, there are a few textures missing. Excuse me if those are already noticed/fixed, but the model isn't updated yet.

If I read the earlier posts of Croft in this thread correctly, both the X-Shuttle and the Firefly have their new names, Tranquility and Serenity respectively, proposed. I'm quite fine with those names, by the way.

Renaming the firefly to Serenity...... now that would be a good way to pay homage. and its a cool name in general.

So... when?

I was so hoping that this thing would have made it into one of the past updates... but hopefully it will be in the next one, this thing is a real beauty and I am eager to get one for my freelance trader.

Its a fantastic ship model, but its not the firefly (I'm a HUGE fan of Firefly) I do wish someone would re-do the actual firefly ship though.

EDIT: Check this Blender firefly model out: link

Okay, let me grab the occasion to remind everyone around here that while the original Firefly model is nice and cool, keeping it (or replacing it with a more detailed version) would go straight against the Developers' quite well known (or at least I thought it is) policy of getting rid of all the imports we have. Yes, Blender's model looks cool, but no, it will most probably not get into the mod, regardless of personal opinions/preferences.

I guess that's true, to my knowledge its the only remaining non-original ship left in the game, is this correct? And comparing the existing firefly model to the one here in the first post... I'll take the one here in first post any day (No offense to the creator of the FF model) as its just incredible.

There is still the Moldy Crow (Moldy Crow, Star Wars), the Kujira (Gallofree transport, Star Wars), and I heard people claiming that the Arrow is an import as well.

Swallow, are you gonna put engine fire on those back two engines as well?

PLEASE FIX IT!

So it fires a nice amount of turrets forward instead of the 4 it has now.

I love the design!

Being able to use it for piracy, or Police contraband hunter would be awesome!
